The location was fantastic - right on the beach.

Clean big room with nice view on the ocean. Melbourne art festival was funny enough.

Location is not good for beach vacation, only for surfers. Too few restaurants in the hotel and absolutely nowhere to go around.

Right on the beach. I love having breakfast on the deck outside the restaurant. Since my last stay they upgraded the gym, added a spa and an ice cream/candy shop.

My room had problems with the A/C. They offered to move me, but I had the adjoining room as well and there wasn't another together in the hotel. The bedding wasn't the same quality as the last time I stayed.

Can't really say there was anything we liked about the hotel

Customers were quoted a cheaper rate as we were standing there even though they had just told us we had the best rate, they wouldn't honor military rates. The shower is a law suit waiting to happen, there wasn't any no slip material very slick when showering and our 2nd night there we had to request towels and such for the bathroom they didn't restock when they came in to the room while we were out.

Great location. The restaurant service was excellent, but the acoustics and atmosphere in the evening was poor.

There should be a separate access point to the beach, rather than trapesing through the pool area. For the cost that I incurred, I feel that beach chairs, chaises, and umbrellas should be included in the price of the room.

there was a number of events going on for people that were not staying at the hotel, so there left NO parking for customers that were staying at the motel.

The restaurant was fabulous. The staff were extremely courteous. The prices of the food was great. I loved it!

It was chilly and there were burners out on the deck, but when we asked if they were going to light them we were told that they were from an earlier event and wouldn't be getting lit...If the burners were lit, I would have spent the entire evening on the deck and probably bought drinks! Instead we bought a six pack and drank in our room. Also, there weren't any chairs at the pool!!! bummmer!!

The ocean front suite was (476) was beyond my expectations. The constant roar of the waves and varying sea wind was soothing. Also, enjoyed having the two-sided balcony.

You need better communication between the main desk/management and house staff. An unidentified person with a pass key twice tried to enter our suite.

Loved our stay at the beach! We had a ocean view room and the only drawback was the entrance to the room was really narrow. Sad to leave! Beautiful hotel!

The room was clean and comfortable.

Did not like the square pillows and the ocean view was not what I expected. The room was sideways to the beach so the view was of the hotel next to ours and the beach.

The oceanfront rooms are stellar. The balconies are huge and the staff was super accomodating. Great value for the money discount on bookings.com and offered a better price to ensure our business for the following evening a monday night

Not told that first three floors and restaurants etc were under renovation. A little bit paint and other fumes. Not full service in restaurant and super slow waiter who did even know about the rarly bird $10.95 special advertised in our rooms and all over the hotel. Food was fresh, almost worth the incredibly long wait in the completely empty restaurant.

Constructions in hotel, No terras, no pool bar, no strand chairs or beds available, pictures used are not corresponding to the actual state of the hotel this is not a 4* hotel, not having the crown plaza standards

The staff of the beakfast room was very nice and friendly.

Even if it is qualified as a 4 stars hotel (only the hall is very luxurious), the rooms are very uncleaned and poorly furnished. Also the room door was falling down.

We had an AMAZING room with an AMAZING view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful

the oceanfront room was a disappointment. it was on the first floor, the view was blocked by a cabana and brush. I asked the front desk to change the room, which was handled friendly and quickly.

The whole experience at this hotel was wonderful, the staff, the accomodation, the location. We had an amazing stay here at the beginning of our holiday.

being able to look at the ocean everyday from our balcony....it was so beautiful and peaceful!

The chair was so dirty I had to put blanket over it. The comforter had blood spots on it. The coffee maker was too small. The refrigerator did not have a small freezer in it. The window treatment on the south side did not cover the window....which made it difficult to sleep in.

Horrible. It was probably the worst hotel I have stayed in. It should not be allowed to have any stars. Definitely not 4. Absolutely the worst.

The staff at the hotel were extremly professional and polite. One person in particular,Rose. Not only did she remember our names everytime we walked by she made sure we had everything needed,example directions to nice resturant. We will be staying there again !

Location for beach, staff were excellent and were the main input to enjoying our short stay. The rooms were the usual Crown Plaza standard, both comfortable and the room service excellent. The food in the restaurant was excellent and service good. Biggest plus to our stay were the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful with instant results, when we made a request. .

The hotel itself did not match the usual Crown Plaza standards, it looked tired and in need of an upgrade. We had a room overlooking the pool, and there were many incidents of pigon dropping on and around the balcony & chairs and the sunloungers and around the poolside. There was a lack of umbrellas to provide shade at the poolside. Also a lack of good quality sunloungers and unbrellas' available on the beach area, which we had a couple of weeks before on Daytona beach. These are hopefully constructive comments, as be enjoyed our short stay due to the excellent staff, we will continue to use the Crown Plaza hotels as we like their world wide standard.

The room suite was very nice and clean the bed was very comfortable. The Meal we ordered from room service was unbelievable my wife had a steak and it was the best steak she has eaten in a long time. Better than most steak houses.

They need to update the televisions. No HD flat screens.
