Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando-Universal    

My husband and I came for our 1st anniversary and we were treated very kindly. We loved the excellent service of staff, the room was gorgeous, the fact that we could upgrade, and the breakfast was perfect. Our stay was very lovely and we will definitely be back.

Room and facilities

Service at breakfast was a little lax. At first just shown to seat and no explanation. Hot water for tea was tepid.

Great location close to everything especially Universal. Good parking and free available. Hotel amenities are good nice restaurants.

The wifi should be free for what you pay for the rooms. The pull out sofa was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep on it. The floor would have been better.

Clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent price vs value!

The rooms were clean and the a/c worked well. There was always a good supply of toiletries and clean towels.

Breakfast was only mediocre. A little bit of variety would have been better. There was a huge charge on wifi which we thought was scandalous! Most places now don't charge so we thought this was annoying. The lifts were very slow. The pool was over-run with children and there was a lot of jumping into the pool and keeping sun-loungers with towels even though the people weren't there for long or at all. It might be better if there was someone to take a look at the area every once in a while and to keep the pool clean during the day as there were a lot of wrappers and bits of trees in it.

Location; Valet personnel were professional.

Dining area, Bar atmosphere for families and children. Loud boistrous convention goers; security did not intervene. Parking was horrible.

A little pricey for locals. In the tuorist area but I'm not a tourist. Would have been nice if there was a resident discount.

Position is very good, the Crowne Plaza hotel has a free bus to go the Universal and Disney, the room is clean and comfortable. The dinner is good :)

They didnt tell us the bus for the universal resort left from outside the hotel opposite so we missed it - they did pay for a taxi for us but they could have saved that expense by giving us the correct information

we find a great deal with this hotel, and it was a fantastic. There is a coffee shop inside the hotel which serve a fresh coffee through out the day. Location is also perfect for those who come for leisure and to visit Disney and universal.

Air conditioning system was noisy

The executive lounge: brilliant idea, on the 15.th floor,nice view, free wifi, breakfast, etc.

Great people, great location, good accomodations, comfortable surroundings very enjoyable.

Wifi charge if wanted to use in room...why? It would be more customer friendly to offer it for free in rooms. Other than that, everything great! Thanks very much. I've already reccomended it to a friend!

Pillows were amazing

the hotel charged me more than 10 internet conexion ( wifi ). I only use it 4 times ( every night ) but the thing is that we had one computer and two mobile phone that we used in the same room . The receptionnist was very rude to say that : " this is our rule , next time you will know how to use it " . I stayed in about 8 hotels ( 4 and 5 stars ) during my trip in USA and they all understood it and they just charged one conexion per night.because of that , I will not come back to your hotel. I had a water leakage in my room late at night and I had to move to another room at 2:30am.. I should not be charged for that night..because I had a meeting early in the morning.

It was very clean and comfortable. I didn't have to wait in line to check in or check out.

The parking is limited. If you can't find a parking space, you have to use valet, which is $17 a night. This was the only real problem and it was a big one: we booked a room for four people and they assigned us one king sized bed, then said that they were upgrading us to one queen bed and one queen pull-out couch. When we asked for two queen beds, they wanted to charge us $30 extra dollars. We argued it with them for a while then they finally agreed to give us two queen beds at no extra charge. The next morning when we got the bill, it was $25 above the agreed upon total cost. Thank goodness I had my print out from booking.com that verified my booking cost. And thankfully they reworked my bill until I was charged the correct amount.
