Score from 477 reviews Very good
I hated the MANAGERS attitude and her condencending tone when I complained about the ZERO parking there was. The fact that I paid for a room and had to park up the street was ridiculous.
Comfort of the room
I liked that it had a fair amount of parking and there were different options for going outside. You also keep trash cans empty and have a smoking area for smokers like myself with a few benches for us to sit. Also the staff was very friendly and our waiter Mike in the restaurant was the Best! He even got us a cup of hot coco when the corner café was closed! the food for the buffet breakfast and dinners were great nice choice of food and was very very good GREAT chef
As I said there was a fair amount of parking but not enough handicap spots so you need to do more of those. Also you need at least 2 free coffee packs to a room per person staying in that room they only make small cups of coffee. And have the staff to be sure all light bulbs work in the room. all was great other then what was said would stay again
To me it was wonderful and elegant, it wasn't like other hotels around that smell like cigarettes instead of clean I will say is almost a 5 stars hotel.
It was what I expected and more!
Proximity to Phila., Spaciousness of room, comfort of king size bed, free parking, Amenities; Wifi, plenty of Large thick towels
Room appears to need a deep cleaning as it is beginning to appear tired.
Room was clean bed was comfortable. Big convention going on so lobby and bar were very noisy but dead silence in our room. Very nice night for parents having a night away from the kids.
It was a beautiful, clean, relaxed hotel with lot of amenities
I would have like a better vending machine selection most nights it was to late or I wasn't presentable to go to the snack bar. The hotel also ran out of laundry detergent and I had to go buy my own, but they had run out two days prior and then when I went back two days later to ask the front desk for some they were STILL out. I realise you probably hadn't got your delivery in, but good customer service someone who have purchased some for the guests to use while they were out. I was not the only guest asking for it.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. The pool was a hit with the kiddos!
I absolutely loved to my room on the 14th floor views overlooking the river and skyline. I enjoyed working on my computer in my room so much that I extended my stay by two days and made this my base for sightseeing.
I'm a swimmer and, while from my room I can see the pool isn't used much, it was closed when I wanted to swim. Poor weather and before 10 AM are not really good excuses for it to be shut. My suggestion would be guests ask to use it at front desk and are given access on an as needs basis.
It was a very nice nice place and we'll certainly retain. The bed has unusually good reading lights and the staff is very nice.
The only problem was with the bath/shower. No water came out but we found out in the morning and didn't have time for them to address the problem.
I liked how when my co-worker had an issue with her room the staff immediately changed her room. I liked that when our second day of meetings was cancelled we were refunded our money immediately. The staff was excellent
The hallway smelled like smoke even though we asked for a non smoking floor. The rooms were not clean. The air conditioning vents were completely filled with dust. The sheets were so wrinkled they looked as though they have not been changed. The bathroom did not look clean. We bought lysol at the nearest store so that we could spray the room down ourselves.
The best is the morning breakfast served at restaurant. It is worth for $15 they charge. The second best is the corner coffee shop.
I like my room the location the lobby is nice.
I saw customers not being treated well and spoked to in aggressive tone. I lead people and teach people how to lead one thing I know who ever is running that hotel it's his or her leadership that's lacking.
Great Pool. Breakfast was plentiful.
Rooms are old.
The housekeeping did a good job cleaning my room from day to day. Staff was prompt with answers.
Pool was not clean. Clean pool towels were not folded. Had to ask if they were clean because the way they were presented, it seemed like they were dirty. Could tell hotel was a bit dated just from regular keep-up
Room was quiet
Property has seen better days and has a tired, worn feeling
Good location, easy parking, windows that open to let in fresh air.
Hotel is worn and has seen better days. Felt more like a motel room than a Crowne Plaza room.
No shuttle bus from the hotel to Philadelphia
Low rate (needed a last min. Hotel on Graduation wknd). Friendly staff; followed up with a call each time we requested something; very quick with requests; very accommodating staff; free parking; free breakfast. Great stay!
Plumbing; we must've had the room they don't usually assign; plumbing was problematic; toilet made noise all night; shower was slow to work.
Beds were comfortable
No refrigerator or room safe. Shower was difficult to figure out. Not enough handicapped parking spaces (due to an event, we had to park in a space at the back of the lot) Event folks were given preference over hotel guests.
The renovated room was very nice. Also bartender very nice
AC was not working at first but notified front desk and it was promptly fixed.
Bathrooms are terrible, even front desk staff admitted showers are impossible to operate. Also, the air vent in our room was extremely loud.
