The friendly service
The rooms were updated and very nice. Check in was easy and fast. Lounge area and food were excellent.
I wish there was a refrigerator or microwave.
it was ready and it was a nice stay - well done
Staff was friendly & very helpful, courtious, and could speak english! Thanks.
Had to change rooms, because the plumbing was not right in room 300. staff was helpful in moving us to room 400. was told that the breakfeast was included with the room. It cost 14.00/aech. The manager cut the cost on are breakfeast after finding out the problems with the room.
Employees where so nice and rooms were very clean
Nothing it was a great experience and will be staying there again this year
The price and location to the stadium etc.
The main elevator was down during a busy time of the day (for cleaning) and if you took the stairs down then you'd have to walk outside the side of the building to go back inside the front to the lobby. Very inconvenient for something that could wait until a less busier time.
This hotel is being renovated and it feels like being in an unfinished house during renovations. Rooms are fine but the halls are unfinished and the building is being renovated from outside. There is smell of glue/paint. When I arrived to this place, I could not recognize at the beginning if it was open for business. I would not recommend staying there unless they will finish the renovations.
When we arrived the halls were all cluttered with boxes. It was like they were open for business but were not expecting anyone to stay.
THIS PLACE IS DIRTY...PUBLIC RESTROOMS WERE HORRIBLE. CITY OF PITTSBURGH NEEDS TO BE NOTIFIED...LIGHTS HANGING FROM WIRING THAT COULD CAUSE A FIRE OR SHOCK SOMEONE WHO TOUCHED IT. PAINTERS TAPE TO IDENTIFY DOORS. DO NOT STAY HERE!
It was being converted into some other hotel. There was only a handful of rooms open and the entire facility was full of construction equipment, Sheetrock, etc.
Location was decent
We were checked into a dirty room! Wendys cup on the nightstand, unmade bed someone had clearly been in! All under construction. Should not of been open for business. Website did not inform of that. Construction materials everywhere. Did not end up staying in that dirty place
the hotel will be nice when its finished
it wasn't finished. My wife and I were out rather late and were awakened by the construction noise. the "breakfast" was pretty much non-existent. There was dust everywhere in the hallways due to sanding.
Bed were comfortable
Quality of the rooms was lacking. No QA being done in the rehab and was not advised of this at booking. Very disappointed.
The construction was uncomfortable but hopefully it turns out nice in the end. The discount off was a nice compensation for that.
Hotel was in terrible condition due to construction, which we were not made aware of when we made our reservation. Horrible experience.
Place is under construction. Went to room. Room not up to standard. Lighting poor. Cleanliness substandard. Had to leave not a place to stay for the money they were asking for. Hotel is going through name change and upgrade when pulling into lot it does not even looks like it is open. As my first statement under construction. Asked for a discount and was told that it could not be done. Had money returned.
The amenities are being renovating
WiFi signal was poor
The place is in the midst of major renovations and as such is a construction site with dust and grit everywhere, unvacuumed carpets, rude construction workers, and front desk employees who don't appear to have even a rudimentary understanding that they are in the hospitality business. If it were possible to rate this dump with negative numbers, I'd do it. Folks, find somewhere else to stay -- this place was pathetic.
The lady who checked us in was extremely helpful and professional. Room was excellent and comfortable, Breakfast was great. Excellent value at under USD100 for the night, but the price will probably go up after the upgrades are finished.
Lots of work still to be done and it was obvious. However this didn't affect our room or breakfast. 6.25 in the morning we asked the receptionist to book a taxi. He didn't do this till about 6.40 and we were late getting to the airport (just as the airline was cutting off the luggage checking for our flight). He (receptionist) was obviously sick and unpleasant sounds of him hacking up phlegm were quite disgusting. One and only vending machine out of order.
It was close to where I had to be in the morning
They did not tell me that this place was going under remodel, reconstruction, there was no carpet or flooring in the hallways and the room numbers were all on painters tape, very disappointed.
The rooms are very comfortable.
The hotel was under constructions and nobody told us.
First of all, the place doesn't have their name ANYWHERE outside. We drove around in circles for 15 minutes because our GPS said we were there and all we saw was a construction site and other business buildings. The whole place was torn up. No wear to get drinks. Vending machine on our floor was gone. Vending machine downstairs was broken. Pushed button for the one elevator, it never came. Bathroom sink had strange holes in it. Computer chair had stains on it. Bed was stiff as a board. No comforter for the bed, just 2 sheets. It was just not what we were expecting. I didn't see any warning that it was being redone on the site that I booked it on. My mistake if it is actually listed somewhere.
It was cheapest place in Pittsburgh and only place left with 2 rooms because we were going to a concert.
The place doesn't even have a sign with the name or anything on the building. The place is completely ripped apart. The rooms and bathrooms are done but the hallways are horrible and the elevators. The bath tub doesn't drain while showering and they just wallpapered over the old receptacles.
Massive construction effort. No Name of hotel visible. Switching from Clarion to Crown Plaza. Front desk was unidentifiable. Room numbers identified w/painters tape. Dust Everywhere. 3rd world experience with hometown flare
Location is ideal for visiting the area. Easily hop on the parkway to the entire Pittsburgh area.
Renovations were underway and we had to wind our way around workers, but we knew that when we booked it. The rooms are renovated, good bedding and updated baths. WiFi worked on 1st fl only
