Really comfortable bed, best night sleep
I stayed at this hotel for the Women of Faith conference. The location was excellent! A walk that took 5 min. making it possible to get back to my room for a quick bite to eat in between shows. I had a great view of the Moda center all lit up at night.
The parking costs $19-22 a day. If you go as a group be sure to include that in the bill before giving them a total of their share of the bill :-)
The beds were comfortable and clean. The A/C-Heater worked well. TV also worked well. Liked the fridge and microwave was near bathroom.
The beds were on risers so my 3 year old couldn't climb up and made us fearful she would fall off also. We pushed on bed against the wall. Asked staff if there was a room with normal height beds and they said no, not even their handicap rooms had tall beds. The staff was ok, but we didn't get the level of service or amenities provided at other Crown Plaza locations. Also the hotel was next to a train yard and freeway. So we heard lots of trains and cars.
OK - would stay again.
There was a face towel upon checkin on the shower area which I assume was mistakenly left there.
We had two rooms. Everything was impeccably clean, the views were great. Rooms 1001 and 1001 on the tenth floor. The essential oils in our rooms were a nice touch. I want to buy more of the product. The selection of coffee was great in our room. The cleaning staff were kind, saying hello, and thorough. The king size beds were amazingly comfortable, and paired with the aromatherapy, we slept like babies! I wouldn't object to buying the same mattress type. The location was right next to the max line public transportation, and a short drive to everything touristy. Thanks for a great stay! We will come again!
I do not travel much or use hotels. The check in was a little awkward. The lady at the front desk was quick to help us but didn't have an inviting personality. She was quiet throughout. I was confused towards the end of the check-in because she didn't use a closing. If she would have said something like, "You are all set. Please enjoy your stay," I would have known we were finished. Instead we stood there waiting for her when she was already finished with us and moved away. We also originally asked for two rooms to be connected with an interior door, but they didn't have any available at checkin. But we were able to have the two rooms on the same floor, within a short walk of each other. None of us could figure out how to set the alarm clock...very odd.
staff were all very good, esp. Yaquima in the breakfast , and the Valet service, who called a taxi for us.
maybe if the dining area has a divider from the lobby, the cold air will not blow directly to the diners and the food ? also, we had to inform the concierge about the CL lines not working instead of the other way around... we brave the cold winds outside and we ended up taking a taxi to Downtown's Powell Bookstore from the Hotel.
lobby and bar, staff, clean
room size very small
The location was perfect for what we were doing. Room was clean and well stocked. Staff was courteous and friendly. Restaurant in-hotel was a plus. We enjoyed out trip to Portland and will stay at this hotel again.
There was some major construction at the Convention Center. It would have been great if the hotel and printed a not and emailed to patrons. We asked the transit line what street to get off on and they told us. It would have been correct if not for construction blocking with no entrance. The hotel is situated so we couldn't spot it with the construction. It just would have been nice if the hotel had emailed notices or attached it to our confirmation giving an alternate route due to construction. Especially if you are dragging a suitcase from the transit for what should have been about 4 blocks and was at least twice that.
this location is close to everything. did not need to move the car at all.
Beds Linens Blankets stuff with waffle pattern which was uncomfortable. Elevators finicky Valet open only til 11 pm.
the beds were very nice.
lighting was bad in the rooms. I think it's also to important to have a sink outside of the bathroom for two person convenience.

The highway sounds
Close to Oregon Convention Center and public transportation. Comforfortable rooms, nice lobby and friendly staff. Overall I had a very nice stay in Portland with Crowne Plaza.
Room was right above the entrance so somewhat noisy
Great staff. Great customer service from everyone. Very comfortable bed and quiet room even though we were right above the main entrance.
Ordered room service. Very prompt delivery. Well prepared. But no place to sit and eat it as there is no table and only one desk chair in the room.
Good location, clean rooms and the rooms are quiet.
The hotel does not put the cost of parking in their lot up front, it is $19.00 +tax a day and should be considered when looking for a weeks stay.
Staff was WONDERFUL!! Very helpful, very courteous, and most important to me very professional with a personal touch. Loved the room.
WIFI was terrible! My phone worked fine until I hooked up to the WIFI then could not get any pages to load and when I shut the WIFI off my phone still wouldn't load pages until I went outside. As long as I was away from the hotel I was fine.
We have stayed at this hotel a couple if times. It is nice, comfy beds, super clean, within walking distance to Starbucks and a couple of decent restaurants.
While parking is less expensive here than downtown, I think parking should be complimentary.
Very nice inside
I was a little shocked when I pulled up because the outside looked so old. But when I came inside it was better than I expected. I live in Seattle and our Crowne Plaza looks a little better.
Comfy bed, quiet room, friendly-helpful staff, great breakfast, excellent room amenities, great location.
