Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resorts Fort Lauderdale Airport/ Cruise  

I found that another traveler paid substantially less for the same type room.

Good sized rooms, pleasant staff, decor, pool.

Entrance signage was poor. The address on the booking website doesn't show on GPS. Difficult to find. Couldn't even see a sign from the road. Had to get a map to find hotel!

It is very close to the cruise and the airport. Big room.

Comfy Kids loved the pool Friendly staff- even have kids a granola bar

Proximity to the airport rooms were good size beds comfortable clean bathrooms

the restaurant onsite served lukewarm food. We ordered the enchiladas plate and it seemed like they microwaved the food as parts were cold and parts were hot. The servers weren't very friendly as we got in late for dinner around 9:30 pm.

Very nice staff, friendly and went out of their way to help us.

Room size, appointments. Kikis was good fare, reasonably priced, good service. One of the male cleaning staff was exceptionally helpful, advising us of bus service to a mall.

Some of younger staff didn't seem to know much about the surrounding area, where to purchase things, etc. One recommended Walgreens as being close, walking distance. Probably only drives area.

The beds were very comfortable. Although close to the airport, the room was very quiet (we particularly liked the notice in the corridor asking people to respect other guests’ need for quiet – “no marching bands or circus animals”). The staff were extremely helpful, in particular Melinda went to a lot of trouble to arrange a 7am cab to get me to Hollywood Beach for a meeting. The free shuttle to the airport was very convenient. The Sundry Store is well-stocked (including some nice Californian wine). Kiki’s restaurant is pleasant enough and the food is OK.

The hotel is not that convenient for downtown Fort Lauderdale or the seafront, although there’s a Hertz rental facility onsite and there are bus stops around the corner on Highway 1 from where you can get a No1 bus northwards to downtown Fort Lauderdale or southwards to Hollywood, connecting with a No 4 bus toward and along the Hollywood seafront. The nearest supermarket (Publix) is 20mins walk away and there are some restaurants within a similar distance. We ordered Margaritas in Kiki’s restaurant but they were pre-mixed.

Staff at the bar wasnt very friendly. Only the guys in the black shirts were very nice! But the guys in the red shirts........

Restaurant KIKI et la presence de Hertz

J avais demande a etre reveille a 5 hres 45 et personne ne nous a appelle. room 713 le 8 dec.2012.ca nous a cause des broblemes.

Buenas instalaciones y personal amable.

No tiene desayuno incluido y hay que pagar parqueadero.

I was given a very stylish, recently remodeled room. Everything was perfect, it was a lovely surprise in an airport hotel.

I have no negative comments.

Totalt sett ett väldigt bra hotell även om det ligger en bit från stan och stranden.

Personal (bis auf eine Bedienung beim Frühstück), war gelangweilt und eher unpersönlich bis unfreundlich - sonst alles OK

Nice and accessible to airport after a long flight from Australia. I found a special deal on the internet several months ago so value was very good. Easy to get to cruise. Transfers all organised from the office. We had 1 day at the hotel pre cruise and took a tour of the Everglades. I'm sure lots of other tours were available. Room and service was all top-notch. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Lobby area and pool was very nice. Good size, nicely decorated clean rooms.

Parking garage was tight and we ran out of parking spaces on 2nd and 3rd floor so they allowed us to park on first one night. The area wasn't the best but close enough to airport.

A loud air-conditioner and refrigerator.
