The overall nature of the park,
Breakfast, not good at all for the price.
The front desk manager was very kind and actually let me print my hiking permit in their office -- WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND. I felt so welcome and like I was a guest, not just a number. With 10,000 people in the valley, I was so wonderfully surprised to see everything run so smoothly nd with so much friendliness!
we would have loved to have breakfast run until 11am -- The tent doors were pretty creeky -- WD40 on hand would be great ;)
A great outdoors adventure - great atmosphere and unbeatable location - our family (couple plus children 19 and 11) had a great 3 nights stay with plenty of amazing walking - free shuttle bus, great outdoors swimming pool with amazing backdrop included - free stargazing from just beyond car park - tented community was great fun
The village has a perfect spot in the middle of Yosemite NP! Great place! the tent had light so that was good. The beds were also nice!
Too much people!
location, facilities and scenery is breath taking.
the tent was quite a walk away from everything on site.
The location at the foot of Glacier Point in the midddle of geant pine-trees : just amazing ! The genuine mood : the wooden premices - notably the large dining-room) that refect the atmosthere of the early 19th century. The multitude of funny squirrels and a few mul-deers inside the camp-site. The free shuttle vailable for a few interesting points. The rules of procedures preserving the silence inside the camp as from 10:00pm
The quality of the cooking at the restaurant but a minor inconvenience as the gastronomy was not the purpose of our stay!
Location was perfect, easy access to all treks. Staff were very helpful and kind
Food choice was limited and pricey in the canteen for medioca food. Pizza place was good though. Needs more choice and option to cook your own food in a secure area
Location, views, check in staff
Showers and toilets were always filthy, no communal food storage with fridge/freezer, WiFi was practically unusable, we needed to confirm flights and couldn't.
In the middle of Yosemite, close to lots of beautiful hiking trails. Every morning there were some mule deer to be spotted on the camping.
Overpriced but everything in Yosemite is. Dirty toilets and showers.
The location is phenomenal in the heart of Yosemite Valley with spectacular views and easy access to trails. The tall trees keep the temperature comfortable even in the middle of the day in July. They have a nice selection of regional beers on tap at the Curry Village bar and restaurants. The facilities were better than expected. The tents are roomy and well ventilated with electrical outlets and overhead lighting. In fact, it's really much more like being in a cabin than a tent. The bathrooms and showers were kept clean and were seldom crowded even though there were many others in Curry Village during our stay.
The cost is high considering that you're staying in a tent (we payed about the same per night at the Aria in Las Vegas). You're definitely paying for the location and the easy access to the park.
Very good location in Yosemite Valley
Food in the restaurants is expensive but not very good
good location with nice view.
Location, location, location Shuttle service which is free and very informative about the area. Takes you to the start of all the walks in the Yosemite valley The access to the park and it's incredible walks Back to basics - Nature at its best
Don't expect ultimate luxury - remember the reason you're coming to Yosemite is to see the park. Can be a little noisy at night if you have inconsiderate neighbours.
Nice staff, location.
Not many dining options
We loved the tent and the views surrounding us were breathtaking. Listening out for bears in the camp was very entertaining and actually seeing bears on two occasions was just fantastic. Memories that will stay with us for a lifetime!
Bathrooms could have been better. Mattresses in tents were ok but other than that the whole experience was unbelievable. We are on a 6 week trip round the globe and this was probably the most stunning place to stay.
very long wait time at check-in really busy in restaurants, long waiting time
Stayed in one of the tents and loved it . Don't expect 5 star. It's basic and functional but that's the charm. Great location for some of Yosemite best views. Nice to have a pool to cool of in at the end of the day. Everything closes at 10pm which is great because if you spent a busy day in the park you'll be ready to sleep. Did not see bears but plenty deer wandering around the car park . Would defiantly stay again.
Tents are a little crowded so you can hear your neighbours snoring
center of park, near all destinations
waking up in the middle of Yosemite is absolutely super. The tents were clean and are ok for comfort but they remain tents of course
public shower and toilets... so it is a camping, no more no less. You pay for the location.
Location was awesome, ice cream was great, liked the staff.
Couldn't sleep, sound travelled so much and others were seemingly unaware of how loud they were. Food was not good value for money, although there was a reasonable variety.
Can't beat the location.
Nothing more than a tent in camp. If you want only a place to sleep, it's suitable for you.
They do not supply locks for outside boxes in which you are supposed to store your stuff
What an amazing place! We are used to camping so having a bed in the tent was luxury to us. Loved the place and camping added to the fun of the trip. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly.
The position is superb. Right in the heart of Yosemite valley.
It needs to add another eating venue and for the Grill to stay open longer. I saw many new arrivals entering in the evening looking for food to eat but the grill was closed.
Very practical having tent ready made for us, and the location was central to exploring Yosemeti. Shower blocks were decent (with lock codes) and curry village had a very tasty pizza place!
Car parking was a slight issue when we arrived (Saturday) but eventually found a space. Tents were decent but £75 a night for me is very steep but unfortunately the price you pay for the location!
