My stay was great! The cabins and bathrooms were nice and clean and the staff were all very nice.
The mattresses are horrible. Very uncomfortable. Will bring my own in future. The cafeteria hours were not conducive to our hike. The hours of operation were very short in the evening so we were unable to eat there. There is no coffee/food service early in the morning. Lots of hikers leave early and come in late.
Tents, well set up.
Uncomfortable bed, but this has to be expected as its in a tent. Not much selection of food unless you want to eat Pizza everynight.
Any tent camper will delight in having the tent set up in advance of your stay, but add electric lighting, a heater, and comfortable cot with sheets and blankets, you think Nirvana!
Long registration lines and groups of poorly supervized youngsters allowed to play outside after dark at high volume is most disturbing. No staff patrol to maintain 10 p.m. quiet hours also allows loud talking/partying adults to disturb guests trying to sleep.
Location Canvas Tents Staff were friendly and helpful It was quiet at night The hikes from Curry Village are outstanding
Bathrooms could have been cleaner There could have been more bathrooms / shower cubicles
Common areas like main restaurant are good
Bathrooms need major investment to bring up to standard.
Great location making a unique experience
Location was perfect as were the staff
Tents too compact the whole point of visiting yosemite is to escape to nature it didn't feel like that here.
They were helpful when we asked to cancel our second night...!
Loud obnoxious school children everywhere. The tent smelled. Not at all how it looked in the pictures - much more crowded/tight. Common areas more plain and run down than in pictures.
Yosemite National Park is unbelievable and Curry Village is the perfect base. There's a free shuttle bus close by, plenty of toilets and showers to use and the beds are comfortable. Tent is very large so plenty of room to be comfortable.
Needed more blankets, got pretty cold on a night (didn't bother me but other members of our group complained of poor sleep), an area for people to drink their own drinks would be good as you have to buy from the bar if you want to sit at pizza deck for example, and an improvement on the food could be made.
Safe and clean, nothing special required
The tent accommodations are better than most.
Facilities need major overhaul for what price you pay.
The bathrooms were clean and close by, the tent was nice and had everything we needed.
You are staying in a tent so just beware that if your neighbor snores and you are a light sleeper you may have a problem.
Location was amazing! Great access to trails, bus's were a great way to get around. .
The tent cabins had an odor from the heaters. And not enough toilets for that many people!
You live in a park.
No electric outlets in the tent.
Good camp experience good location safety
talking loudly in next camp so that we can't sleep until I complain to them. Not comfortable for washing and sleeping.
Secure safe in tent. Evening lectures by staff.
Very basic facilities in tent. Too few blankets on first night. Ablutions facilities very basic. Showers too far from tent. Far too expensive.
Loud mouth guests in close by tent
Location, value, staff, activities
We'll organised logistics. Food and facilities very good
Very noisy neighbours, but not easy to identify. Too much noise til 2.00am. Not really possible to complain as they suggested in the early hours, not knowing which tent is guilty
You can't ask for better views. Cute little campground with great facilities. Would go back again and recommend to anyone considering visiting Yosemite. Great place and great value. Beautiful trip!
Great location, friendly staff and comfortable beds
In general, everything
Wifi didn't work any day
Brilliant location, setting was magical and you get what is described.
I felt the showers could have been cleaner.
Great fun sleeping in a tent and the excitement of keeping everything n the outside bear box. We didn't see any bears but there was always the possibility! The wash blocks were well maintained and the restaurants were very good. Didn't use the swimming pool as we were out on the trails but it was nice to have the option
There was a big queue to book in when we arrived so by the time we got our keys and unpacked the car it was getting dark so a bit difficult to settle in Once we got our torch organised all was good.
Location, scenery, facilities, wildlife, bear box
Heater in tent didn't work. Happy with everything else
