Dropped my cell phone (practically brand new) in the parking lot. It was turned in. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful and considerate.A big thank you to Curry Village staff!`
We were in a heated tent cabin which worked well. Noise from neighboring tents was vey audible although it did become very quiet after 10PM. Having to get up in the middle of the night to trek to bathroom rather daunting but doable.
location experience back to the environment and silence central wifi point in lounge LOCATION! beautiful park
dining possibilities were limited due to after-season (1st week of november) trail to El Capitan already closed due to snow, but that's just bad luck! I will come back to finish it.
The room is clean.
The warmer in the tent is not powerful enough to elevate the room temperature.
I love the location and the atmosphere!
the scenery was awesome with a great view of half dome. i loved the heated tents and the walk around the area
nothing was open for food the tents smelt a little bit
In the most amazing location! Tent was warm!
Someone trying to get into my tent/cabin at 1.30am!
Had a wonderful time in Yosemite and enjoyed the heated cabins.
nice with hot cocao
+ perfect location + nice staff + lots of people to meet + nice common area + good position for reachig hiking trails + large food selection in the food court
- beds were very uncomfortable - WIFI didn't work properly (they work on it)
It is located right in the middle of Yosemite Valley. All major sightseeing spots are right next by. The sanitary areas are cleaned every day
The bed was okay, but definitely nothing special. You pay for the location but not for features. The heating turns on and off during the nights. It's not a consistent heating. If you have a light sleep, then you might wake up because of the noise of it! If you don't want to eat at the expensive restaurants there and have your own stuff, then you've got a problem: There is no good place to eat inside, because it's not allowed to bring your own food into the dining area.
It was great even for a two night stay. free shuttle. great dinning hall. lodge for wifi.
view pub on the grounds
noisiy middle school field trip!
Location location location....absolutely breathtaking! Tents very comfortable and the propane heaters kept them very warm. There was a safe in the room.
We were there off season so the food courts etc all closed.
Location, value for money and the experience. Thought we'd try something different ( tent ) and enjoyed the experience, wonderful location.
Our tent was located to close to the car park so a little noisy in the morning with guest walking past tent to gain access to vehicles ( gravel pathway outside tent ).
No food options in the off season. No food allowed in tents so we were HUNGRY!!!!
Great location and plenty of options to eat at fair prices. Staff were really helpful and clearly enjoy working there. Free shuttle bus which is handy to avoid getting lost. Driver of the bus even stopped so that everyone could get a glimpse of the bears she had spotted. Booked a tent with a heater - definately recommend this if going out of summer season as the temperature dropped considerably at night. Grateful for the plentiful blankets also included.
Noisy fellow guests - some people have no consideration at all. Take ear plugs.
Almost no food options, just a small market that closes early and a pizza place that opens only on weekends. We brought our own food and a portable stove to cook it, otherwise things would have been difficult foodwise.
Shower is very comfy and the shower lotions are all oganic.
Location, unquestionably one of most beautiful places. The cabins were basic but what we expected. They were warm and had everything you needed- bedding and towels.
Nearest toilet block was closed and all eating and leisure facilities were closed at Curry Village which no one told us when we booked or when we checked in. Other eateries were available but you had to drive.
Registration took longer than expected.
The heated tents were nice and spacious. They bring you new towels every day even if you still have the used ones. The shared bathrooms were quite clean too. I'm a camping lover so I enjoyed every second of it even if I couldn't sleep! They lent us a torch. Stores and restaurants are nice and the staff is very friendly. Free coffee/hot chocolate at the registration! You are right in the heart of Yosemite.
Those camping beds are impossible to sleep on. I wish the pool was still open. Wifi wasn't working and our phones had no reception (all together being totally disconnected was a plus but I guess would be good to know beforehand)
The environment is beautiful. Late check-in was not a problem.
We booked heated tents, but were so cold throughout the night none of us had much sleep. The heaters do not go above a certain temperature and the sheets/blankets provided do not give enough protection from the cold.
Our night in a heated tent was a nice adventure. Every food and toiletries have to be stored outside in bear safe boxes. Great location, fair price!
Due to animals no food and eating in or around the tent was allowed. However, outside food was not allowed at the dining/outside terrace, so one has to buy food in the restaurant...
