The breakfast was a little pricey for how small the hotel was. I would've liked something more continental and quick than the buffet.
I loved the room! The staff was great, and the rooms were decently sized for the amount of time I spent in it.
the hotel was dirty ,overpriced , and outdated. Not to mention a dog kept us up all night
close to the beach
Free breakfast would have been nice. It was too expensive.
The room was comfortable, quiet, and spacious.
Free shuttle service from airport was great. Had everything we expected, especially if you have just come off a long plane ride being so close to airport was great
This is a fabulous area not sketchy whatsoever I felt completely comfortable staying here on my own. Rooms are just what I like very minimalistic and full of light
dark corridors. noisy neighbor. they actually highlight their LED light string! no complimentary breakfast
The rooms were small and the front desk staff was rude and full of themselves.
How close the airport was and the shuttle.
The bed was very uncomfortable and there was extremely loud noise in the hallways all night long so it was hard to sleep.
The valet was great
Bed was not comfy:board was too low and the matress too soft even for my liking. There were no signals or signs about the facilities anywhere, you had to ask everything at reception.
Free airport shuttle, nice design, friendly staff
No bar or restaurant.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was close to the airport and major freeways.
Sketchy elevators, Overpriced breakfast buffet, Small Rooms
Location, Staff, Clean
Bathroom was grimy and had mold and old water stain in the wood work. Curtains covering the blank was looked nice but was covered in dust at the top. Hallways smelled of "old hotel" smell. Overall disappointed it was a JDV property and should have been cheaper for what it was.
Modern simple decor and look
No cleaning for two days, front disck rude, not all of them but some of them
They remodeled the hotel rooms. I was very disappointed in their new "modern" beds. 2" off the ground. Not what I was needing. The front desk did not know which floor has ice machines and kept sending me out into the hallway until HE discovered there was no ice machine on the 2nd floor. Frig broken. Water bottle old. No Kleenex. Slippery tub. Several inconvienances that all added up to a poor experience.
Staff were friendly, accommodation was as expected, price was right..there was a $30 eduction special
Expensive parking and useless tiny gym space.
Perfect airport location - near but not too near! Proximity to shops and restaurants.
close to LAX and plenty of walking distance facilities in the area of hotel, good shuttle service.
Room rate was $148. Taxes, "fees", $27 parking charge drove price to over $184. For that price I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel for the same money. Room was a "box" but clean.
The valet parking staff took thirty minutes to get into my car and park it when arrived. I waited in the lobby until one of the valet's got into my car. My car was unlock the entire time while they were having there conversation. I was not impressed. The blinds in the room was in poor condition and the bathroom sealing for the shower was pealing off. Maintenance needs to fix those minor details. Overall, not impressed with the hotel. I have stayed in another hotel owned by this company before (The Saguaro), it was far better.
The location around is not great, but it is very close to the airport. The bed's were comfortable and the rooms were clean.
* Architecture - Reception is nicely decorated but don’t be fooled, exterior feels like the hotel is “project”or “ social housing” complex that was converted into wanna be modern hotel. * ROOM - midsize. Sheer curtains covering 2 of the 4 walls. Trying hard to be modern & sleek yet comes across as cheap & tacky. Neon lights in each windows cheapens hotel & is bothersome. Cleanish yet feels dirty. Bed ok. Cant hear airplanes if window closed * VIEW - overlooking carpark. no view * FOOD - didn’t try don’t know if offered but wouldn’t eat there. * LOCATION - great location to LAX airport since only 8 mins away by car. * SECURITY - we didn’t feel safe there. The overall feeling we got of the hotel is that the clientelle are into partying & doing drugs. Doesn’t help when the bathroom in reception is bi-gender and there is a mirror laid horizonitally over the toilet roll. What other purpose does this have except to snort coccaine off of? Ive travelled around the world and never saw this anywhere before. * CARPARK - not free at $25. Car must be valeted by hotel. No option to park yourself. They don’t recommend parking it yourself behind hotel in the shopping centre parking spaces?? so made us feel like area was dangerous. * ISSUE - feels like a druggie place. not great with a 2 yr old
* Location - Aside from that area feels unsafe & dangerous. * SERVICE - ok * PRICE - reasonable * WIFI - free, ok speed
The contemporary styling was amazing. I was only there for a couple of hours, but it was extremely comfortable.
narrow area room
close to airport LAX,wi fi
Facilities onsite and nearby and friendly staff.
The young woman who checked me in neglected to tell me what amenities, if any the hotel has; about breakfast and about how ordering from Deck 33 works. I found out from Adam when checking out. I only heard from him what the hotel had to offer because he was telling new guests. They need more staff. When I checked in, the young woman at the desk was alone (as was Adam on my check out day). She stopped assisting me to answer the phone, to answer a question from the Valet, then a guest and then a maintenance person. The rooms have obviously been remodeled because the elevator and bathrooms show age.
I liked the size of the room.
My room key didn't work but the staff fixed the problem by replacing the battery into door.
The staff was great. They took care of me well.
