Very clean room and staff was very nice
Was a little cold in the room but it was very cold outside
Towels felt like sandpaper!! We were on the first floor - noise level was a AWFUL! Snack machine didn't work - front desk replaced money but said "no one else has had a problem" no effort to see what was wrong. Bath tub had a broken plug - unable to use tub for a bath only showers. Will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone or stay there again.
Fridge didn't work right.
Comfortable, clean room, and it was very quiet, despite the proximity to a busy road. The breakfast was much better than we expected...WAFFLE BAR!!! :) Staff was very, very nice as well.
Location, location, location. Sure it's near Philly, but the street it's on is a highway basically, where you can't turn left. Trying to get back to the city on that stretch is mind-boggling. Very confusing and frustrating. Plus, there weren't very many restaurants nearby...it was difficult to find much to eat within a reasonable driving distance, except for the Duncan Donuts. (And again, you had to turn left and drive a few miles before you could turn around to get to DD,which was on the other side of the road from the hotel.
We loved how it was only a five minute drive from historical downtown Philadelphia.
I did not like that there was not that many options for food late at night. After a whole day in the city we wanted to just pick something up and go back to the hotel with it. There was only 2 options for us. A "WaWa" (which we were told was just a gas station similar to 7/11) or a diner that did not look promising. Also, house keeping did not understand the meaning of "we do not want housekeeping." We told him no and he said to bad. He had a check list and he was not leaving our room until he could check us off of the list. Made stand outside for 5 minutes so he could change the towela and do what ever else.
would recommend for a nights stay, not for longer!
Bathroom was dirty!
nice Motel , well equipt
I don't know if it is a location issue , but...we couldn't sleep. starting from ~2AM - every hour someone knocked on the door . Fire department & police, loud noises outside. The guy at the reception wasn't surprised when I asked him about that
Good quality, clean, pleasant. If you have a car but don't want to drive into Philadelphia, parking at the nearby Collingswood PATCO station is a great way to get into the city!
A little smile and a few polite words from the lady at the front desk would have made a big difference! Slightly less cheap plastic dishes for the breakfast would also not hurt.
Stayed for two nights, location was very convenient, overall staff was pretty good, if i had any questions they ll answer, room was very comfortable and clean, not too noisy, very pleasant experience.
I got overcharged, i was expecting to pay $177 but i paid $188. The one front desk girl acted as if she didn't know what she was doing. Saying i booked for one night and that was not the case. The room keys didn't work so i had to get a new set.
ROOMY bedroom plus the sitting area was wonderful, nice location
just that the a/c is a little loud, kids were ok but it woke me up thru the night, since I have weak knees I needed elevator.
Spite being 1 night I would recommend it, good breakfast, clean and cordial. good bathrooms, and good beds.
That it didn't have elevator. The a/c unit makes is loud but I am sure that within time the company may improve the equipment.
The day shift staff was very helpful.
The room had not been vacuumed and when we asked for housekeeping the staff member told us to come down to get the vacuum and do it ourselves. She said to make sure we bought the vacuum back because the day shift needed it.
Staying in Philadelphia with a caravan of dogs and needing quick access to downtown would have cost a fortune--at least a truck payment, and we only needed one night. After driving all night, we arrived within an hour of the morning funeral we were attending in Society Hill, across the bridge in Philly. This people- friendly staff saw our dilemma and bedraggled condition and made arrangements to get us into available rooms within ten minutes of our early arrival. The place was crowded but peaceful and quiet, with a very culturally-diverse staff and clientele. I felt proud and happy to be an American. This facility is what America is all about. Good, decent, friendly, and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!
I never had time to relax by the pool.
Clean good breakfast
Bed and room was comfortable. Location is easy to access.
The room, especially the bathroom, smelled overwhelmingly of urine. So much so that we bought febreeze at the nearby WalMart to spray. The cooling unit also malfunctioned and was not cooling the room properly. Breakfast was toast, yogurt, and waffles, and the setup was poor; you will wait at least 10 minutes to reach the front of the line to get a waffle, and toast takes just as long.
the location and price
Night clerk when we checked in was not very friendly and acted like she didn't like her job.
Low toilet, noisey room you could hear through the walls and I am hard of hearing. The desk clerk was unable to give me directions.
The staff was great and the room was very clean.
Our first room the tv was not working so we were moved immediately. The noise above us and next door was a bit much. The running and sounded like furniture moving at 3am.
The price to value was terrible. The front desk staff all have a nasty disposition, rude & unhelpful. Act as if they are doing you a favor. Nasty nasty people & place.
good facility, comfortable bed, nice breakfast.
a little bit far away from downtown, but reasonable price.
everything was wonderful. staff was polite and accomodating. after a long day of moving to a new location the beds were the most comfortable i have slept in.
the pool closing at 8pm was a disappointment. although the gentleman that checked me in was willing t keep it opened, i didn't want to inconvienence him
Location was good close to everything I needed
The fact that breakfast was only from 6am to 9am It should have been at least 10. On weekends people like to sleep a little later
We stayed there for 5 days, very nice hotel, never expected that so many people would stay at such a place which definitely needs a car or a cab to commute. the room was cleaned everyday. decent breakfast, good wifi, cabs can be booked within 10 minutes. Over all , value for money !
The gym should be bigger, with so many people staying, need more treadmills.
The room is big and car can park in front of the room. Reception and restaurant is good. Wifi is good.
The room has a smell
Rooms were fairly modern and very peaceful.
Staff could possibly be more pleasant. They weren't rude just very blah.
