Score from 35 reviews Very good
Never did figure out how to get free wi-fi. Instructions didn't work. Also would have liked free breakfast.
Great room - very comfortable. Had a great price from booking on-line. Staff was very nice and location was in close proximity to where we needed to go. Would definitely stay there again.
It was very clean bed was comfy
The biggest dissapointent was the bathroom. The paint on ceiling was peeling. The shower was unexceptable. I am only 5'8" and had to crouch down to get under shower head. On arrival did not see any luggage racks to carry bags. Not as nice as one we stayed previously at New Rochelle.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Location was exelent for our purpose.
A queen whose time has passed
Everything was great.
Excellent breakfast buffet included. Real eggs. Bacon. Sausage. Potatoes. Fresh fruit. Yogurt. Muffins. Bagels. Waffles. This is in an industrial park. Pretty empty on a February weekend. Restaurant in hotel was wonderful.
Heating system and low water flow in the shower
There was a huge group there this weekend lots of kids running around w no supervision not hotels fault but if I had know would have booked somewhere else
wifi Is censored..!!....
Staff was not overly-attentive. I asked for extra hangers and never got them (and the hotel was empty, so I'm sure they had extra). It's a good place for a short-term business stay, but last year we stayed at the Ethan Allan Inn, and the staff was much friendlier and more attentive.
It was convenient to everything in Danbury and there were good places to eat near by and a Starbucks close by.
Full size beds should be replaced with queen size. Gym could use a little more equipment.
Almost everything was wonderful. Spacious, clean, friendly, great that there is an indoor pool.
no pay per view movies limited menu
very clean and quiet. Great rate for a higher end hotel
wi fi is censored!!
only stayed one night so did not get to experience much
the bed and all of the added comfort items. Breakfast was great
wi fi censored my choices....:(
Odd location. Close to the Interstate but a bit far from Danbury Fair Mall and restaurants
WiFi signal is strong Spacious room, Comfy Beds, in-room coffee machine. Good Shampoo and Conditioners
No Snack vending machines. Snacks at front desk were a ripoff at $3 for a single small bag of nuts. Front desk is hard to find near the back of the hotel following a walk through a long, barren corridor.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
When I took the cover off the bed, there was something brown and crusty on it. It made me skeptical on whether to sleep in the bed and if the sheets were cleaned. The shower was a little awkward because there was only half of a glass door. You couldn't enter the shower without turning it on first, so you immediately got sprayed with cold water. Since there was only half a door, the floor got very wet.
The staff was very friendly from the start and the main lobby was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The toiletries they gave were very nice - more than what you'd find in other hotels.
Hotel is a little old, would need to be refurbished
Location, just off the highway and really close to where I was going
wifi censored our choices
Pretty sterile sort of place
Position if you are road tripping Down the road is a large shopping facility including Trader Joe and Starbucks Large car park
The cleaning staff never refilled our shampoo/conditioner (which were horrible and smelled like chemicals). Vending/ice are only on certain floors (3,5&7). The rooms are nice but there is no sound proofing, so if anyone is down the hall you can hear them, as if they are in your room. The breakfast at the cafe is horrible, my husbands pancakes were hard as a rock and our waiter came by twice - drinks and check, nothing more. We paid $12.00 pp for breakfast and went to dunkin donuts after. For only staying a weekend I don't feel we should have had this many complaints, definitely won't stay here again.
Cracked glass in bathroom. Toilet did not flush properly. Salmon dinner was "off". Needs upgrading.
I didn't like the shower, it wasn't closed in. Shower had one glass door. The floor got really after taking a shower.
Location was great.
Wifi kept disconnecting
Pool and room service and comfort
Oh boy. I booked this on the promise that this was one of the VERY FREE hotels left on the planet that understands some of us (many of us!!) have allergies and cannot have down! Was specific; no down, no feathers in room. promised no problem, so relived. on arrival, all feather pillows on bed. two flock poly pillows laid on top for my use. Not a non allergenic scenario at all. Took the concierge 15 minutes to come. Took another 10 after call to front desk. Then he argued with me (with I were joking) about "because they have these encasers, I could use down". And a language barrier. I g ave up. Clearly uneducated in the allergy prone public. I asked for an extra blanket and clean s heets since the sheets on the bed had had feather pillows on them redering this a nightmare. I am already wheezing. I acted as my own concierge as I simply could not get the concept thru to this man that this was NOT OK. Not only that, I had confirmed that they had non allergenic items there. he just wasn't going to give them to me nor change my sheets. So I did. I threw the feather pillows into the hallway onto a cart, stripped the bed, and slept on a bare blanket with two new pillowcases. A very uncomfortable, very aggravating night. I asked for my money back. Ridiculous to have a concierge argue with a patron over health issues. I will never stay here again.
