Score from 16 reviews Very good
Always clean and friendly staff. Rooms update a few years ago still look good.
Price! up until this year rooms were always under $100 even on weekends. Now they are closer to $115. My bro-in-law got to hear the Danville police deal with a guest and a lady o the night the next room over on this visit!
The shower head need to fix or replace.
no frig or microwave in room Hampton does for less money
Desk Staff was friendly.
Plastic bedspread. Poor breakfast. Housekeeping needs to be supevised better.
Comfortable beds and clean bathroom.
Wifi not working in the evening because it was overloaded. Worked early in the evening and in the morning.
location was good for my needs.
carpet could be cleaner. traffic noise on I-80 side of motel.
The lobby is updated and fresh, but to use that picture on the website is deceiving because the rooms need updating very badly.
I was charged more for one of our two rooms because I asked that my elderly mother's room be located at least on the same floor as our family's. The girl who checked us in said that it would be a different price because the room type was different from what was previously booked. Ridiculous!
the gentleman at the desk took care of us
when we got there the reservation I made on line and confirmed were not available. they were not in the computer.
No bed bugs, I checked before laying down for the night.
Killed 4 flies in the room and there were more. Room desperately needed a paint job due to beat up walls. I asked for a quiet room, I got the room next to the highway and closest to the office door. Was told they wouldn't reimburse me since I had requested a week stay(I left the next morning, I wasn't staying there another night), I told them I would make a major complaint and was then told they would see what they could do. She charged me one night stay. I went to Hampton Hotel. So much quieter, cleaner and pleasant. Better breakfast too. Only $30 more a night. Was well worth it. Actually, Super 8 was going to charge same amount, but was told upon arrival that their rooms were less. I should have asked to see the room first, but it was midnight and I was exhausted from traveling.
This place is a dump. Period. Avoid at all costs.
we arrived early were told no possiblity of getting into room for a couple of hours. staff was rude did not attempt to accommodate any of our needs even when we explained we needed to get ready to attend a graduation ceremony one hour away. staff kept repeating check in is at 3:00.
No cable TV channel guide.
bed was really comfortable
the room had an odor when you first walked in, the breakfast was not served after 9 AM
Beds hurt my back
The staff were very friendly which is always a plus for me/us. Breakfast was decent and for the price you can't beat it. The room was clean and warm when we entered the room. My husband and I were pleased with the price, location and the staff.
Only drawback is hearing the highway that is right behind the hotel.
Its good.breakfast was ok
The walls are very near between 2 rooms.we were able to hear everything from other room. The guy in room 118 kept talking very loudly until 12 am in the morning disturbing our sleep.
I had other choices on making reservations and places to stay. I believe I made a mistake in both cases. The front desk did not have my reservation. I had to look up my Booking info for them online.Their printer was out of service. I had to write down the Booking number and give to the reservationist. Only then did they call Booking to confirm my reservation. She said your company hung up on her. She called again. It was at the fax machine all the time but was not posted. Took over 45 min to check in. Based on my experience, the motel is poorly managed. I would not do business with them again If I were you I wouldn't either.
That they had an available room.
The room was filthy. Stained carpeting, stained bed linens, broken chipped furniture. Dusty. With a layer of dust on the light bulbs that actually created a burning smell when turned on! Thread bare towels. Only the walls were thinner. It was beyond noisy! And the unidentifiable stains, finger prints and general filth on the front of the microwave, refrigerator, & painting looked like something from a Rorschach test. This room would make for the perfect movie setting of a fugitive holing up from the authorities.
Good american motel right in the middle of nowhere.
Receptionist everything but friendly.
Close to hwy
First room they gave us, bedding had not been changed and bath not clean. Second room was clean but old, with stains on rug and crummy bath fixtures. I did not want to walk barefoot at all. Lot's of noise from construction crew party all around us.
The breakfast service in the morning. Staff friendliness and eager to provide what they could.
They ran out of towels the first evening we were there.
