couldn't beat the price for 2 beds
the rooms were very dated and had only a lamp for light
I had a place to sleep
original room smelled horrible..was taken to another that smelled somewhat better.ceiling fixures were missing covers.ceiling had several large leaks..beds were made for a small child or midget-they were very low to the ground
It was dingy, carpet was dirty and stained, there was dirt and stains on the walls. The ceiling tiles were water damaged and falling off the ceiling. We felt we had to bring in our sleeping bag and pillows to sleep!
Toilet leaked, heard it all nite long, ac rattled, bed sheets didn't fit, got all knotted up, smelled something unpleasant, located old feces smear on inside of bed cover!! AND THE TV WAS BROKEN. The worst part was when I went into the office the next morning at 8am, both the husband and wife were still asleep. When she finally came out and I told her of my LONGGG SLEEPLESS NITE, she went and got her husband. He came out looking like he'd been on an all nite drunk. aND WHEN i RIED TO LET HIM KNOW OF THE EVENTS OF LAST NITE, the first thing out of his mouth was, and I quote, "SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A FREE NITE, AND THAT THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ROOM"!!!!!!! With that, I walked out!!!! Please fire and hire someone to get that motel in shape for future occupants, maybe not a man covered in tatoos and unpresentable to say the least, WITH AN ATTITUDE TO BOOT!!! Mike Martin
The low price but its just a warning
The ceiling fan worked really well.
The management was very nice
The beds are not on frames just the box spring. Floors are old and stained.. Our smoke free room smelled horribly of cigarettes.. No coffee pot or alarm clock.. Beds are hard and the sheets didn't even fit them..
Substitute manager was very pleasant and creatively worked to resolve problems... ultimately with success.
Standard of cleanliness and quality of accommodation below par. Poor maintenance.
The in room hot tub was wonderful! We were cold and tired, it was the perfect ending to a long day
The property overall looks run down. Rooms are clean, neat, and large, but outside looks poor. Overall a great place to stay, but initial impression is it's going to be bad.
The staff were prompt and willing to remedy our problems when we contacted them.
There were a number of rooms available, but we were put immediately below two rooms with people who live there and who were extremely noisey. In addition this room was dirty and had a bad smell to it. When we talked to the staff about this they moved us to an end room that was quiet. This room was cleaner than the first, but there were flying insects inside that probably got in through the 2 inch gap above the top of the heater/AC unit. And when we went to take a shower we found there were no towels or washcloths in the room!!!
Close to town-in town
Worst place I have ever stayed in my life!
The cost, location and cleanliness of the room.
It was a little outdated, but they are in the process of remodeling first the rooms, then the outside.
room , bath spa , price and town shopps
It was cheap, it was clean, and it was in a great location. The owner was nice.
The carpet needs to be replaced, and it smelled like smoke.
We liked the location because we needed to be in Darby for two days.
We were disappointed that we had to get keys made in order to have duplicates. The rooms were not cleaned between nights and new linens were not provided for the second day. The air conditioner in one of the rooms had a faulty plug in but the manager changed rooms on the second night. Soap was a small broken piece that was used the first day but no replacement was given for the second day.
The room was smelly like mold. The bathroom ceiling was missing & water stained. The carpet was old and stained. I worried about bed bugs, do not put your luggage on the floor. Awful motel.
Price Good bed OK location Great tub!
Staff seemed confused about how to handle reservation. Didn't know the area and restaraunts, etc. Lamp didn't work. The outward appeal was poor. Outdated sign, etc.
Location right near destination and under $ 60.00.
Blew fuse during storm in evening and no hot water in the morning. Noisey in evening- loud like running water in other rooms.
It was clean and smelled good and very adequate for the price. Te staff were helpful in recommending places to eat.
I was not very attrative on the outside. It was basically on and aspahault parking lot.
The owner was welcoming and quick to recommend a nearby restaurant for dinner (the food was delicious)...in the morning, he saw us loading our car and came to see if we needed a place for breakfast; again his recommendation was very good.
