Room was on the street. NOLA people do not seem to sleep at night. Noisy!
Very pretty little place . Not a huge highrise. great staff, Pierre in particular.
The location and the staff made our stay perfect. The weather did not help, but we manage. Thanks.
Breakfast offered sausage but not bacon.
The Staff made my friends and I feel welcomed! They all gave us genuine smiles and greeting!
Like everything in New Orleans the building is old and in need of some updating
Super friendly staff. Willing to go the extra mile. Location was great and quiet
The tile flooring in the bathroom and carpet in the bedrooms were older and need repair/replacing, but the room was pretty clean overall.
The staff was great. We liked the complimentry breakfast in the morning so could fuel up there and head out early to sightsee.
The basic rooms are tiny, and our original and upgraded rooms both smelled of mildew. Maybe this is a post Katrina thing common to hotels, but it is what it is.
Great location if you want to be in the french quarter. Once we upgraded our room, it was pretty much an apartment!
The smell around
At the French quarter
Rooms overlooking the car park were somewhat noisey. There was a slight smell of damp on our floor, though we were unable to pinpoint where this was coming from & did not detract from overall stay. Shower not particularly powerful.
Lovely small pool area for sitting with a drink, and great breakfast options. Bed was very comfortable.
On the negative, hotel overpriced it gives the appearance of offering top level service but in my years of travel this hotel "did not walk the talk". We stayed 7 nights and breakfast became almost unbearable due to the exact same items each day! Hampton Inn offers a better selection and variety. We ended up going elsewhere after 3 days which added to daily expense. Had a balcony room overlooking the pool…do not do it! They do not control the noise level of intoxicated individuals sitting by the pool at night. We had to call security each night ranging from 11pm to 2am because we could not sleep and we are not light sleepers.
Nice room, very comfortable bed, A/C worked perfect. Overall staff very accommodating and responsive to needs and guest request. Loved the Ma Bailey's bar…..like stepping back in time. Very cozy with friendly bartenders full of information about local restaurants and things to do.
the pictures online seemed like there would be more to the room, but it really wasn't that big. very comfortable and enjoyable though :)
No full length mirror or chest of drawers.
Loved the courtyard, and our balcony and temperpedic mattress! Staff was always friendly.Breakfast is delicious!
Restaurants and night life are within walking distance.
A very welcoming place to stay, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, a genuinely very fine and friendly staff. The location is excellent and the place is very comfortable. Good value for money.
Comfortable, great facilities, breakfast was superb as was the hotel bar. Easy walking distance to everywhere!
Top floor windows cannot legally be opened.
Bed size was small but understand.
The setting was nice.
Surprised they had no room service and no tea in the room
The wonderful Tempurpedic bed and the nice staff and the view and the location
We enjoyed the physical amenities including the beds, our little balcony...didn't get a chance to try the hot tub or pool due to the weather. Adequate breakfast. We were most impressed with the staff, including bell and parking staff, desk staff, housekeeping and maintenance staff and the breakfast staff. Each person is an enthusiastic individual ambassador for the city and magic of Vieux Carre! We loved our visit and will be back for more!
The location was perfect. Hotel is within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
We were extremely disappointed to check in and find out that the "Premium King Room" that featured a balcony did not come with a balcony! This was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and the balcony is the reason we decided on staying here! We were told by Hotel Staff that Booking.com does this frequently!!
Hotel was very nice and close to everything that was going on for Mardi Gras! Hotel staff was very accommodating!
Paul, taking care of our needs with car
This hotel needs to update the floors and bathrooms
The location is perfect to everthing
The carpet in our room was filthy! It clearly needed to be thoroughly shampooed or replaced.
Collection of old cottages unified as a hotel, very charming, great location, especially for the Mardi Gras.
Great location, French Quarter and many historical sites are within walking distance
