The breakfast at hotels these days, not only this one, is generally useless if you want real food. Questionable and bad tasting sausage patties, fake eggs, poor fruit if any, milk full of bad stuff, corn syrup for jelly or waffle syrup, fake butter. It's sustenance for the starving, but not more than that. Fine for people who don't care what they put in their mouth, inedible for the rest of us. You should be able to expect actual food to be served for breakfast when you pay $300 a night. Pillows on the bed were less comfortable than even Holiday inn.
The staff is very friendly and good here. Mattress was exceptionally comfortable in the room I was in, not sure if all come with memory foam on the beds. Location was perfect for walking around the French quarter without a hassle.
