We and other family members (Wells, Power ) came for a family Thanksgiving at my son's home and really liked the hotel. We have been there before and had a great time before. Two suggestions: the exercise equipment is broken and has evidently been so for some time. This was a disappointment to my wife who chose the hotel because, in addition to location she could exercise. Also, a matter of safety which I told to the front desk who received it well: the curved rod which holds up the curtains on the new bath tubs is dangerous. I took a bath, moved the curtain slightly when in the bath and saw the curtain rod come loose. I then realized that if the rod had come down at the other end it would have stabbed me in the chest. Suggest you find a way to anchor both ends so they can not come down and badly hurt someone. Other than these suggestions for improvement, we had a great time there and really appreciated the competence, friendliness and manners of the staff. Thank you. W R Adkins

Hotel restorant tryed to charge me twice for my diner and I was extremly dissapointed with a reaction of the reception desk who wasn't helpful to find a solution... Because of this incident which shows lack of integrity and honesty of this hotel, I would never recommende it to anyone !

The view from our room overlooked the park and river, bringing the first rays of Sunlight into the room. Thanks to John at the front desk who worked in the evenings was very helpful and welcoming, pointed out the grocery store behind the hotel and the closest laundromat - went out of his way to make us feel important. The hotel is a good distance from Harvard Sq, buses were not too bad either. An okay experience overall. Elevators were a bit scary sometimes, almost seemed unsafe. Some of the staff on the front desk could smile and show a friendlier side to guests.

I was able to get a room. The staff were helpful and printed my remarks for my dad's funeral. The location was nice, across from the Charles River reservation/park. While I have no complaints per se, I just thought that we were paying a lot for what felt like a motel 6. The only difference was that the maid put water bottles and snacks on top of the microwave. I didn't think that two water bottles and a bag of chex mix was worth $100/day.

Reading reviews about the place before booking it made me nervous, but i needed to find something near a specific location so that the taxi fare wouldnt be to expensive and a decent price. Almost every hotel was booked. I am not that picky but just needed somewhere to sleep and was clean, and this hotel was good for that. I think its alittle overpriced but i didnt find anything wrong with it, except getting off the eleavtor to our floor there was a bad smell. It was my first time in Boston and Bostons very confusing to drive in!! I didnt think the hotel was convenitely located to anything. Its maybe a 20 min drive to downtown for food/shopping. Overall i cant complain!

Just stayed overnight before flying out the next morning. Did not get to do much but there was a lot of activity close by for those who had time. Kind of musty smell in hall going to parking .

Service, very helpful receptionist. The bed was hard - like a rock. Would have been much better to sleep on the floor. What's the point of everything else if people cannot sleep?

At first we wondered if our reservation of Days Hotel Boston was wise because most of the reviews are bad. However, we had a pleasant and satisfied experience during our stay(3 nights). We got a business room at 5th floor (being upgraded?), overviewing the front of the hotel; the riverside is just over there acrossing the main road. The hotel staff were very warm and kind- not only during our stay, but also helping us mail out the missing equipment of my digital camera that I left in the room. Thank you very much!

Location for Cambridge and easy parking were exactly as advertised and expected. Wifi connection in the room was good. Essentially did not live up to the Days Inn/Wyndham and advertised expectations - pool was not operating, piles of trash in the hallways, and curt, carefless reception/management when issues were raised to them.

the first room was foul. the second was only marginally better but they were quick to respond with the change. The walls are paper thin and the people in the next room sounded like they we standing next to my bed arguing in the middle of the night! The place is basically a 3rd rate hotel that charges 1st rate prices!

The staff was absolulely what made this hotel above possible classifications. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotel is on a street with not much of anything else. The interior really could use a facelift and update.

Clean room, nice hotel staff, free Wi-Fi in the room. A bit too far from downtown Boston. We had to take a bus to Harvard Square (approx. 10 min), and then change to subway.

It is very quite and private. When I came to check in, I did not find my information that I gave to booking, com at the system of Days Hotel. I had to call you and this took a lot of time. They charged me extra sixty dollars over your rate and his was very bad. I tried to talk with them, but they did not even listen to my complain. In fact, it was a very bad experience. I am not going to do it again and I am going to let all those that I know about my bad experience with you and them.

The front staff was very helpful from beginning to end. We arrived earlier than check-in time and were able to get into our rooms. There were water stains all over the ceiling in our room and the bathmat was moldy. Thank God I was only staying for one night. Also, we were directed to go out back to get to the bus stop and had to walk thru a very disgusting parking lot. It didn't look very safe.

Price was very reasonable. Proximity to Harvard sq. And Allston. Window opened. Strong smell of sewage in lobby and hallways. The closet in our room smelled like urine. At night there was one person working as security and front desk, and I found all of them asleep in a computer nook of the front lobby, leaving the place unwatched so any wacko off the street could roam in. Although the cost is reasonable, I don't think I will ever set foot in this hotel again.

The price was good compared to most Boston hotels and it's right by Charles River. The free safe in the room has been useful too. Free parking is also awesome, as parking is generally pricey and/or hard to find in Boston. The hotel is a bit far (walking) from subway stations but it was expected as I looked at the map beforehand.
