Close to the main highway. Wal Mart right next door.
When we arrived our reservation for a King, non-smoking room was not honored. As we had already paid we had no recourse.
Not being given the reservation that we had paid for.
Front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and roomy. We had bought a lot of food to bring home and the fridge in the room kept it all frozen. Great place.
The Wi-Fi is unsecured and after using it for some emails, my lap top had to run a lot of updates each night. The computer at the hotel does not have java and could not use it for email responses.
Friendly staff and location. Rooms had refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
Breakfast room was very small and selection was very limited. No donuts or pastries. Rooms need better sound-proofing.
Our first trip to Maine led us to Days Inn at Brunswick and we were very pleased!!! The staff was so polite and helpful and assisted us in planning our route up to Acadia which was above and beyond!! We had a very quiet and restful night followed by a full breakfast in the morning!
Clean, all in good repair, no odors, close to Rte 1.
Cheap everything inch. mattress, towels, carpet, ..
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
staff and clean........ breakfast room was small but excellent choices other than bread instead of bagels or rolls and cream cheese Waffle machine is great along with omelets
stairs with luggage
Although the property was older on the outside, the rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast eating area was clean and pleasant.
Just and old style hotel that's over priced. For the amount per night I expected much nicer place considering other hotels in Brunswick which are nicer are basically the same price
everything was great. room price breakfast, area location.
the wifi was not as very good. made my equipment run real slow and took forever to upload emails and other things. always had to accept the terms and conditions for the hotel first.
Good value for money.
No elevator, if you are on the second floor, you schlepp your heaven bag upstairs. Very basic breakfast
Room had obviously been updated with very comfy bed, flat screen tv, nicely appointed extra furniture and pictures. Walls and floors were appearing to be fairly new as well. Quiet setting, even if just off a busy roadway. Liked the rate for the night, lower than other competing motels with similar amenities. Did not stay for breakfast but set up was clean and very much like other Day's Inns we've stayed at.
reported to the desk that there was a significant 4 " cracked & broken through area on the floor of the fiberglas tub-shower. He took note and apologized for the situation.
staff was friendly convenient location
we arrived when it was raining and there is NO carport! room smelled awful, linens smelled of smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room. mold in bathroom on wall above shower and on ceiling. breakfast was minimal (toast, oatmeal, 2 cold cereals and omlets that needed to be reheated/microwaved. breakfast items were often empty. tiny breakfast area with only 6, yes 6 tiny tables. our reservation was for four nights, we paid approximately $140 a night...not worth it by any means... Overall, we were very disappointed.
Good accommodations for a way-station.
Breakfast area a little cramped.
Confort and cleanliness of the room and the entire facility.
Breakfast area was crowded, choices limits, orange juice watered down. We ended up going into Brunswick to find healthier and less congested place to eat.
The room was very dated and in need if repair. Paint peeling off a few walls. Microwave would not work. Shower was hard to get started.
Pleasantly surprised by the great breakfast options available. Quiet and fantastic bed.
the room was very comfortable. The price was good.
The location was a little hard to find. Everything else great
Rooms were clean Continenental breakfast was good....hot waffles. Good location for our trip down to Harpswell.
Booked two rooms and held them on my credit card. When we checked in we were told there was only one room reserved and it was in our fellow traveller's name. We had no room but had booked two! Was told by staff that we had to contact Booking.com ourselves to rectify the situation. There was no room to offer us...full house. No! Showed staff my online confirmation from Booking.com and only then would they offer that "maybe" a smoking room was available. Not good. We took it because we had to. Staff said they would spray it to hide smoke smell. On checkout a new story was offered about the problem being a staff member who "had been let go" who hadn't entered both room reservations...only one. Staff member had a history of other infractions we were informed. Confirm your reservation before you travel...!!
there was not enough room to eat breakfast. they have too few seats for that. they also have no elevator and caryying luggage to the second flour was not convenient
they were able to get us on the 1st floor across the hall from each other.
Booking.com indicated a pool, there wasnt one. i booked 2 rooms, the hotel only had 1 reserved. we had 2people in the same room with electric medical equip & only 1 outlet accessible. am still waiting for staff to call us back about extention cord. continental breakfast left alot to be desired. unless u wanted toast or cold cereal u were pretty much out of luck. no muffins, donuts or fruit, coffee was excellent. i wouldn't go back there
The rooms were musty smelling. The smell of air fresheners in the hallways were very strong
Location, price, access.
Breakfast area a bit small.
I liked everything that was important to me.
I didn't like the fact there was no elevator as we were on the 2nd floor. We survived and otherwise had a great place to stay.
