The bed was clean and comfortable.
-The grounds were in shambles. -Mold and mildew in the bathroom. -faucet on the bathtub was broken -porcelain was peeling off the bathtub -hot water was good in the evening, and barely hot enough to take a shower in the morning -external fire alarm (located right outside our door) went off at 4:18 in the morning for long enough to wake us up and then shut off. -water damage on the celing -this place needs a major overhaul... With the exception of the bed and sofa it looks like it was straight out of the 80's -worst hotel I ever stayed in. Period.
The location is convenient
It was very dirty (filthy actually). There was mold in my bathroom on the walls and ceiling. Some type of stains on my rug. The continental breakfast was less than desirable. No hot coffee in the lobby at night. No decaf. No hot coffee in the morning at the breakfast bar either. A few pieces of bread and a package of instant oatmeal, maybe some cereal was offered as well. The front desk clerk was expected to cover the front desk as well as the breakfast bar. Very disappointing. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
Bathroom had a hole in it by ceiling...maybe where a fan used to be!! Shower head was full of yuck! Stained tub
Loved the location. It was right next to the tournament site. Loved the wifi excellent and fast and free. Loved the breakfast. Free and included eggs as well as all the usual waffles and pastry. The bed linen was really clean.
The bathtub and bath curtain were dirty. It detracted from our enjoyment of our stay
I liked the fact Days was located very near I-87 and Route 7.
Huge parking lot in the front of the building was empty. Place looked deserted. Access to my room was down a dark entrance toward the back. Fridge and microwave in room; no coffee pot though. Very dated rooms and bathroom. Looked more like a truck stop for truckers than a hotel.
Bed was comfortable.
Upon arrival I was given a room that had not been made up. Then I was switched to a room that had been made up but not cleaned. The remote for the tv didn't work and I was promised a new one the next day. Didn't get it. No coffee in the room.
Bathroom appeared to have not been cleaned since the building was new. We didn't use the shower/tub.
The room smelled stuffy and faintly of mildew/mold. The room needed to be painted and updated. Quite run down.
Quiet decent area.
Coffee was cold, and little of it. Orange juice was more like orange drink. Poor selection of unappealing toast, donuts, etc. Concrete walkways needed repairs throughout the facility.
I was not as clean as it appears in the pictures.
Room was simple clean and comfortable.
Exterior very tired and unkept. Lacked mulch around plants cigarette butts Biggest issue is that it's very noisy. You can hear conversations between te rooms- also running water in neighboring rooms. Lacked a private feel.
The place wasn't bad. You get what you paid for. The free breakfast seemed old and stale so we always went out to eat or ordered. Other than that it's not too bad. If you just need somewhere to stay 1 or 2 nights its dooable
It was affordable...but so are other motels, and I have never stayed in anything as disgusting as this.
-Person checking us in waited to finish her cigarette/phone call before coming inside to greet us. -Gigantic spider crawling around in the bathroom. -Hair left in bathtub drain. -Room stunk like cigarettes. -Blood on comforter. -Floor was filthy, and had white stains -Sketchy group of people walking around at midnight. -Staff dropped of my receipt with personal info on it underneath my door at midnight- good thing I was awake to grab it.... -Pool was closed on an 80 degree day. -Lobby area stunk like weed at night.
The staff at the front desk were great. The lobby and dinning area were very comfortable and clean. The location was great being I need to be close to Waterford ny.. The nice thing about the motel is it is in a quiet area and safe area. The breakfast buffet in the morning had everything fresh and the coffee was freah at all times. That was a plus .
When I arrive went into the room and found pubic hairs on toilet rim when I lifted the seat. That was a total turn off. Hair on the pillow and the pillows smelled dirt . I had to cover my pillow with a sweat shirt because they smelled of dirty. The bottom sheet had hair on it and was not changed from the person before me. I couch in the room had a big rip in it. Eye sore. There were cob webs not only on the bathroomsink cabinet but on the ceiling. I recieve a bill under my door and I was over charged. I had to call my bank so they wouldn't pay the over change. The Bill was left under my door instead of giving it to me at check out. My card should not have been charged until my check out . I would recommend Days in because I have always stayed at Days Inns when I traveling across country. I could take noise but I can't take dirty. I didn't sleep well because I could smell body on the pillows and the room was not clean.
Bed was comfortable, quiet room. Staff was friendly and polite.
Better dusting needed, lots of cobwebs. Breakfast could use some fresh fruit and an option other than skim milk.
Staff was very nice
The room was terribly dirty: carpet, bathroom toilet and shower, bed was wrinkled and I was not sure sheets were clean. Smell in room was not pleasant. I was offered another room. Was a bit better. But I checked out an hour later.
We were very close to Rt.87 which made it easy to get to and from our concert and places to eat and shop. The staff recommended a great spot for brunch. The room was comfy and large. Nice work station.
My husband is diabetic and the breakfast did not have any options for him as all the choices, and there were many, were either sugar or carb filled. We always have a hard time finding eggs or meat at a motel breakfast offering. The pool was right outside our door but was not open.
Upon arrival on a Saturday night the place appears to be closed as there where no cars in the parking lot. No one was present in the lobby on arrival. The desk clerk was very efficient but not particularly friendly. In general, the place is in need of updating. Room decor was dated, carpeting was so filthy and sticky I was reluctant to walk on it barefoot. The continental breakfast didn't offer much, mediocre coffee and juice, cold cereal, some breads/pastries of questionable freshness. The outdoor pool was closed. Fitness center consisted of two treadmills and two elliptical trainers. No towels were available for use. Again, no clerk was present when I checked out.
Large comfortable room
Arrived with a reservation only to find out that they were full. I was told that they stopped taking reservations at 7:00 pm...I showed them that my reservation was confirmed with booking.com at 6:30 pm...after a wait they found a room they had not been cleaned...the desk clerk had to clean the room for us which took about an hour...also requested non smoking but had to take a smoking room as that wS all they had.
The value for the money
The sink counter was a mess and the mirror hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
Rats running around my luggage outside my room. Mold on things. Smoke detector disasembled. shower head broken off. Need I go on?? The nasty manager, the unprofessional tattoo, tshirt wearing lady whom checked me in. I have tons of pictures to show, wish I had a place to upload the on here.
Nothing was good about this place. It was dumpy.
After researching reviews, I was hesitant about staying here because it was getting such low reviews but I took a chance anyway. My trip was quick because I was only there for 1 night on business but it was worth it. The WIFI was amazing, so fast, I did not have one issue with it. The room was clean, no hair in beds, no moldy smell, sheets were fresh, carpet was clean/no stains, bath tub was shiny/no hairs or stains. The CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST was also one of the best I have experienced. They had tons of options and it starts super early (4:30am.), which was beneficial for me. My drive there was 4.5 hours long and after working 8 hours I didn't want to stop for food but the hotel has ROOM SERVICE at a CHEAP PRICE, even into the middle of the night so I ordered a nice greek salad and they brought it to my door. AWESOME PLACE, definitely going back!
The price was kind of high, especially for only staying one night but I'd rather pay a little more and experience a great stay than look for a cheap room and have a dirty room/bad experience.
I did like the breakfast included each morning. The dining room was very neat and clean. They had a gym available also. It was easy to find.
Rooms were run down, carpet dirty and stained. The pool was not open for use. Cleaning was not very well done.
