Free wifi. Proximity to Jfk
The room was pretty small. Didn't give us enough room to move freely but that's new York for you . The big guy at the reception helped us to get taxi's to the Queens Centre mall on 3 different occasions and the cab charged 35dollars, we later found out it cost between 20-18dollars. Seems like he kept calling his friends who charged us more money, get your own taxi.
The room was amazing, well set ups
the neighborhood was creepy, the front desk wasn't there when I got there I waited 45 minutes till someone showed up
There was very loud music playing into early morning hours.made it difficult to get a good sleep.
I slept like a baby. Bed was comfortable and the room was a really good size for my luggage and enough storage for my clothes.
There was a bar connected to the hotel so It was loud until two in the morning.
It was quiet house Keeping was good and it was convenient by the highway
the parking lot is way too small
Surrounded by local stores so as far as getting food, it was very easy. Half a mile walk to subway station A. Clean hotel. Airport shuttle van available.
1)I had to pay more than I was quoted when I booked my hotel. 2) for people like me, who live in a place where people don't normally walk or take public transportation, that half a mile walk can be very long and neighbhood isn't so nice to be walking alone at night. 3) takes about 45 mins on subway to get to Manhattan. I personally would suggest you buy a 7 day MetroCard pass if you stay here and plan to sightsee NYC. It is already 5$ to travel from your hotel to and from Manhattan. 3) they kept changing the WiFi password. 4) the door doesn't always lock so make sure you pull the door closed when leave your hotel room.
Exceleten todo se loa recomiendo
Very friendly staff, safe parking, extremely helpful and welcoming service on arrival late in the evening, good breakfast, cold beer in the bar. Train to Manhattan in walking distance.
The door from the staircase to the parking lot was left open/unlocked many times, which allows uncontrolled access to the house.
The location, and comfort.
It felt a little run down.
Close enough to Manhattan. Reasonable price.
Parking spot is not guaranteed.
stuff and bed
noise from a room next door
staff really helpful.
the shuttle driver really cranky
the lady who works in the breakfast room was very nice and pleasant. the WiFi was excellent.
front desk staffs are not professional. our room and lobby had a horrible odor. we were locked out of our room because the key would not work and that happened every day. we could not even go through the back door when we found parking in the parking lot.we had to walk around to front door to get a new key because the key would not work on back door.
I was having trouble with the john, asked for help was told maintenance doesnt work today.Saw housekeeping and asked for a plunger, little did i no i would be plunging the john myself.
I like the hotel proximity to the airport, I spent less than 20$ for a cab. The area was really safe and there were a few shops around, I liked the little pizza restaurant accross the hotel. My room was spacious and very clean, comfortable bed (Queen size), nice and clean bathroom, wi-fi was working very well. I'd recommend this place if you need to spend a night close to the JFK airport.
The location doesn't have much to offer, it's not the New York you see on TV and it's far from the touristic places in Manhattan, Brooklyn...The hotel does not reflect the room prices, it's quite minimal and very simple, I was expecting a bit more for the price. The receptionist who checked me in was a bit cold and unfriendly at first, she suddenly changed her attitude when I agreed to take a room on the first floor, she became nice and friendly, which was a bit confusing. I later understood why, the hotel bar was quite close to the room and the music was very loud. I was so tired that I slept through it all, although I don't think I would have been able to sleep if I had not been so tired. I only spent one night there (Friday) so I don't know if it is that loud every night. The guy who checked me out was very nice though.
The bed was comfortable
wifi signal was weak. We had to stand in front of the room door outside to get some signal
Staff very helpful and accomadating
Taxis so high..city too far
The ability to rest. Early check in was very good. Late check out was very good.
The continetal breakfast was ok, but the service attendant was not accomodating.
The price is good.
The noise at night time and guest that were yelling outside at night and slamming doors no parking spaces available parking lot is to small for the size of hotel. The location is bad to far from things not alot of walking distance to stores. and wifi only worked in the hallways or in the lobby you could not use it in your room at all. that needs to be fixed.
Clean Room , good WIFI speed & excellent free transfer to airport
Free shutle bus from airport, close to entertainment and train.
The wifi was slow and the water in the shower and sink was not filtered properly
Front desk was very helpful, the room was spacious and always smelled clean, the bar was a good environment.
That my trip was not long enough.
Small room. Bad internet. Poor and rude front desk staff, no courtesy and smile. Bad management Simple continental breakfast with no hot meal.
We booked this as we had an 8hr stopover in JFK and thought it would be quicker than going into the city. Wrong! Took 20 mins to get the train to Federal Circle then called for the hotel shuttle and were told it would be a maximum of 20 minutes. 45 minutes later it turned up. All the other hotel shuttles had been twice in that time including the Days Inn Jamaica one. We got to the hotel and checked in. The keycard didn't work in the room door. Went down and got new keycards. Also didn't work. The poor receptionist then came up with us and opened the door with the master key only to find someone sleeping in the bed. The room had been double booked. Naturally this person was angry at being woken up. The receptionist was apologetic and explained this happened sometimes (never in any hotel I have stayed in). Another 20 minutes trying to find us a room. We had booked a room with one king size but were given one with 2 smaller beds. From the time we were out of Customs to the when we got to bed was almost 3 hours. Would have been quicker to get a cab to Manhattan. In the morning not trusting the awful shuttle service we booked a cab which cost $25 so not that cheap. No word from management after I complained Never again! A truly horrible experience. (The hotel is not that clean either and rather noisy).
