The staff was very friendly. The hotel, although older, was well decorated and very clean.
The room smelt like smoke. Also told the front desk. To make sure I did not get charged for that.
Very nice stay over all.Great location to everything.
Didn't like that the first person I saw when I pulled up was the homless man posted up near the front door. When I got to my room and open the curtain, more of them in back !!!
Nice hotel for the price. Susana the hotel clerk was very accomodating.
I paid cash for the hotel the night before our stay because I would be working late and didn't want to deal with check in nor did I want my credit card charged. The east Indian looking man that was to ck us in and give us our key insisted that we did not pay for the room and rudely told me to call booking.com. I stood my ground and told him he need to call Susana as she said all I had to do was give my id and card for incidentals and my key would be ready. Finally he said he found where I had paid and did at least apologize.
Rooms were comfortable.
No help with suitcase. As a senior it was very difficult to get luggage up to our level The hotel was not designed very well.
The room was clean the bed was super comfortable. When we checked in the lady was really nice. I would stay there again
Love the location and service was great also tha morning breakfast facility was outstanding
Location was great! I liked that there was a hair dryer and coffee maker in room. When our A/C broke the maintenance man was over accomodating.
Ceiling, shower heads, mirrors were too low for a 5'10 tall occupant. A/C broke and front desk clerk seemed as if this was not a priority - customer service not so great. Dining area too dark. Visible mold on structure in rooms and hallways - ugh! It was hard to tell if the other occupants were 1.staying for the hour, 2.if they were homeless and needed a warm place to stay, or 3.if they were friends of the independent owners and they were going out partying and needed a place to get ready and come back to.
The bed was full of black and brown spots, the Curtin was full of small bugs from the inside, the walls does not block the noise at all, and I just hated the whole place .... Do not book this place; pay an extra $20 and go to a better place.
Barking and yapping dogs in the next room. We called the first time at 5:00 PM, and they stopped. They started back up after midnight. Front desk never got guests in next room to answer, moved us at 1:30am
Wifi was ok and tv wasn't bad
They have bed bugs and I got bitten on my neck and back, also it's really ghetto
The room had kitchen amenities and continental breakfast. Entrance to room was indoors. Location was convenient and 12 minutes away from downtown Austin.
Upon entry, the clerk was rude and unwelcoming. House keeping staff made up for rude clerk.
Price, clean and comfortable facility. Breakfast was great.
Hotel is right of off the interstate. Price was not bad considering the prices in the area.
Older hotel need some updating.
If it weren't for my friends being there with me, I would have hated it.
The front desk guy was really rude. I also didn't like how they charged when you checked in, every hotel I've been too let's you pay after!
Proximity to the highway.
Difficult to enter the parking lot--suggest making an entrance from the on-ramp side at front of hotel. Educate front desk staff on how to identify and notify proper authorities for human sex trafficking/solicitation. It was evident young girls were being booked for 'dates' at this hotel.
Had to change hotel room, first assigned room reaked of smoke, despite the hotel being a non smoking facility. Was issued a second room and it had an award-winning size roach that stressed the family a bit.
The price and the proximity to the capital was the only thing I did like. I would not stay there again.
The room was non-smoking but it reeked of cigarette smoke. When I booked I said I prefered a ground floor. I was given a second floor room. There was nothing but fruit we could eat for breakfast as we are both alergic to gluten products and milk products. There was oatmeal but it was watery & runny.
Extremely friendly front desk, would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to anyone else. First rate
* Choice of breakfast items * Convenient to shopping; restaurants; and to the city * Great value for money * Everything was comfortable and working in the room
Breakfast area very busy (small room for the amount of guests). Many guests don't know (or care) about parking their vehicles properly (i.e. taking up two parking stalls, when parking with a vehicle either in front or rear of them).
The hotel was more then acceptable and comfortable bed. The staff was accommodating and friendly.
I did not like the location. It didn't take long to know that this hotel wasn't in a good part of town. I have a classic car and felt very uncomfortable leaving the car in the parking lot. After the first night I didn't come back for the second night. I should have requested a refund for the second night but I didn't and just wanted to get out of there.
One night, quick stay, good price
Smelled bad. Low ceilings, small elevator, small bathroom. Tub and toilet almost touching
The location and price were key in choosing in this hotel. It was close to a Walmart, which I needed to go to several times for things I forgot.
The breakfast choices were very limited, and the room could have been cleaner. There was stuff on the walls next to the headboard in room 249. The hotel had a dead roach in the hallway that none of the cleaning ladies picked up off the floor and it was there for 2 days, and still there when we checked out. Why did they not pick it up? Glad I did not see any live ones or I would have checked out of there ASAP.
