Room was good and quiet location.
Distance from shops and public transport
Staff great. Ants and water bugs not great. They came into my room and treated for bugs. But that's life.
Comfortable bed great pillows
Smoking too close to doors. I am on oxygen and it was a cloud near the door
The room was nicer than the public areas. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were fairly new.
The lobby and breakfast area looked shabby and were in need of a facelift. There was a sticky spot on the bathroom floor in my room.
The hotel is right next to the Interstate, what makes it easy to get there! It also has a big parking lot. Breakfast was okay. There are a lot of stores and things to eat around the block. And there is a Bikini Sports bar just 15 min. walk away!
The shower head was mounted a bit to low so it was hard to take a shower... The walls are very thin, you have heard your neighbors watching TV and other couples "having fun" and this thru a few rooms...
The staff are rude disrespectful and the hotel has huge roachs that walk around freely like they own the place even in the dining hall.
I liked the price that I paid for my hotel stay. My room was very comfortable. It was cleaned and restocked every day. The housekeeper was also friendly. The hotel had a pool, workout room and free continental breakfast. The hotel also was centrally located to the highway and other attractions.
What I didn't like about the hotel was the fact that I could not access the Internet one time during my entire stay. Also the welcome mat in front of the hotel was nasty. There were also people hanging out when I returned at night. They might of been smokers. I wasn't sure. Those were the only times I didn't feel safe.
Good price. Free breakfast.
Black mold in the bathroom, ticking noise in the fridge, sparse breakfast, old facilities. Not bad for the money though.
Location was central to most things, room was clean and comfortable beds, pool was ok but not great .Breakfast was typical.
There were three short stairways from the elevator to the room but not a big deal.
Beds were soft...confortsble..room clean.
Ac made noise...stopped completely at night...=horrible sleep you could hear crickets chirpping everywhere!,
Price, no smell of smoke at all!, fast WiFi. Nice staff.
Entrance and parking inconvenient, Bed too springy and seemed old. Only 1 very small elevator causing long lines in the morning.
It worth for the money paid
You can hear everything from the besides rooms...It sounds like they´re on your own room. Poor breakfast. The guy of the reception was quite rude saying that I have called to make a change on my reservation which was not true...then he realized his mistake and refund me the money but he didn´t apologyze even he was calling my husband liar.
Everything from the check in to the sleeping arrangement to the wifi to the dirty room, the smell was unbearable. We used a bottle of cologne to douse the smell.
I thought for the price and location
attitude dirty run down and smell
HVAC unit blasting built-up mold/fungus into room. Odor overwhelming. Obvious Mold build-up on Lamp Shades and certainly present on other surfaces. May not be all the rooms but it is certainly unhealthy and an Environmental Hazard.
Breakfast lay out , and sleep comfortable
Wifi suck Didn't have to many of the good channel like vh1 and Oxgen. Air unit made loud noise. Elevator took to long to open up. Outside the door front needed to be clean cigarette ducts was everywhere.
Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Breskfast well stocked. Low battery on smoke alarm started going off and someone was up within 4 minutes to repair. Great location for all places we went while in Austin.
Young girl was sitting in the lobby on the computer from early in the morning to late in the evening.
Clean rooms, decent service, friendly staff.
Once you got up into the room it was nice, clean and comfortable. Hallways and carpark entrance was a bit shabby but no big deal. Breakfast was your typical Days Inn fare.
Coming off the highway this place is a mission to get to because you can't turn into street. You have to go through a rabbit warren of streets past the Walmart to get here. Not really a fault of the motel though.
halls were dirty
I liked the price , And the location was great .
when I opened the door I was a huge roach in my sink, and as i went to inspect the Bathroom there was another Huge roach in the shower.
I was only able to sleep in 1 hour intervals because of the heavy traffic in the hallway throughout the night. My next door neighbors were heard yelling throughout the night and there was a woman that was crying and pleading with her roommate. I will never stay at this hotel again.
Price, price, and price! My stay and room were exactly as I expected (it's not the Double Tree after all, nor is the room rate) and breakfast was included. I would stay here again for the same price.
Mattress was poor quality and the floor in the small bathroom sloped away from the door (and toward the tub). I'm not an engineer, but I have built homes and something was not right there...
Location and fwy access.
Smell of the rooms, guests roaming the halls at all hours.
Rooms good size and maids helpful.
Mostly poor people in lobby and out front. Mostly black customers. Felt like they did not pay what we did. Worth about $45 per nite. Did not resemble a normal days Inn. Air conditioningout sometmes.
