The price. Pillows were comfortable.
Walls thin, heard neighboring room at 2 am. Blankets thin. Carpet was not clean. When looking for something that I thought dropped under the bed found a Christmas bow and fruit loops.
Bed and pillows are awesome!
Tim Horton s across the street Restaurant discount next door Quick check in and out Clean and spacious room Comfortable beds Separate vanity from shower and toilet
Room next door was being renovated woke us up at 8am At 12 midnight the alarm clock next door went off, called front desk they turned it off asap Power went out no emergency lighting in hallways Snowed and park lot was not plowed by 9pm plowed
We thought it was a nice place for the price and the continental breakfast was great. The people that work at the hotel are very nice.
Nothing, we were very happy.
Next to airport.
Parking used to be free when you rented a room.
The staff was friendly and it was a great price and the rooms were so so. The breakfast was nice.
I found the room had a funny smell when we walked into it and it was a little run down.
I liked the staff as they were very, very pleasant. Breakfast was good and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent restaurant next door.Great service
It's a little out of the way for shopping.
When we were unloading in the car park a very low flying military plane passed by. It was then we realised we were very close to the airport! However, there was no noise in the hotel. Breakfast was good. The room was small but it wasn't overcrowded when we were there. When we asked directions to a supermarket so we could use the microwave in our room we were handed a list of destinations for various places in the city area, so obviously they were prepared for questions. The directions were easy to follow. Hotel is just off a main road, with other hotels nearby, plus gas station, eating places, etc. Don't know about getting downtown as we didn't go this time, this was just an overnight stop.
When we crossed into the usa from Canada we obtained a leaflet about this hotel from the tourist office at Calais. The directions given for finding the hotel were much easier to follow than those provided by booking.com.
Smell in the room from ac unit we could not turn on we were on the bottom floor felt damp
The staff were helpful and very pleasant.
The room I was given smelled really moldy and was moved to the second floor which was better except for the airplanes flying through our rooms every night. Bathrooms were terribly small.
When we arrived, our room had somehow disappeared so the manager quite kindly upgraded us to a King suite, which was a beautiful adjoining set of rooms. We appreciated the gesture and it certainly made our stay more enjoyable.
The kitchen/dining facility was not kept up. The eating area was dirty, full of crumbs, plates, the garbage cans were overflowing and the juice machine was empty.
Beds were comfortable and room was clean.
Breakfast was lacking; said it went until 10 but they were out of most food at 9.
kitchen was small
My kids loved the pool, hotel was easily accessable
Mold on our window sill, smoke detector started chirping about 630 woke us all up, shower did not drain.
Comfortable, room amenities were nice, staff was pleasant, location was central for what we needed to travel to.
If you don't want the continental breakfast, there are limited sit down breakfast places nearby that we could find other than Howard Johnson.
HOW HELPFULL AND FRIENDLY THE STAFF WAS EXPECIALLY FRONT COUNTER
Pool, location to cinema and restaurants.
The fact that you had water bottle, extra coffee and tea. Towelettes. Wake up call.
I was charged twice for my stay. Took a few days to recover my $
The staff were very friendly and helpful - and the rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast was good. Overall, was a wonderful stay!
The pool was clean and refreshing bed was comfortable and clean over all hotel was good except for smokey smell
There was a smell of cigarette smoke all throughout
We booked through Bookings.com. Price was good and the room was clean and quiet. Had a very good dinner at the Ground Round next door. Free breakfast. Overall we were very pleased.
Relatively quiet. Decent breakfast.
Whole place reeked of smoke. The lobby, hallway, and room smelled strongly of smoke. We left room after check-in and returned only to sleep. Should have checked out right after check-in!
moved to an upgraded room when 1st room smelled like smoke good breakfast included helpful desk staff
