Customer service I deserve a full refund
The free breakfast was good, and had a nice selection. Free shuttle was convenient, and our hotel room was spacious.
The staff want very friendly, and hotel actually seemed under staffed. Front desk was slow for a busy hotel. There seemed to be a disconnect or poor communication between the front desk and housekeeping as we were checked into a messy room with no linen and then moved to a room that want finished.
Breakfast was good and efficient once I figured out the waffle maker. Staff was friendly.
The outside door close to our room was missing the lock, so we had no security on that end. Musty smell in hallways and room of a older motel.
The breakfast was good for the children in the morning.
The pool was ice cold and they never did anything to fix it, plus there where no clean pool towels. The pool was so cold that the kids did not go past there ankles and it was a shame because we chose the hotel because it had a nice big pool. Staff did nothing when presented with the issue- one staff member just made a comment of having to buy diapers and formula for her kids. What?
Breakfast, pool, location, wifi
Our first night-hotel clerk was very rude between the hours of 9&10 PM she would not get us an extra blanket or towels, complained to who appeared to be her boyfriend and said "they should leave all this stuff out for people to get themselves!"
Breakfast was awesome
Wifi is very poor
they are will to go the extra mile
not enough roll aways
I guess if there was anything good to say about this place was that the rate was decent and the location was ok.
The "non-smoking" rooms had cigarette burns in the comforter, the sheets were ripped, the bathroom door was nailed together rather than replacing a damaged one, the carpet was coming up in several areas of the room, the wall was separating from the floor, the pool was not heated at all, I ate the continental breakfast at 6:10 AM (it opened at 6:00 AM) and there was garbage on the floor already, and the list goes on and on......will not ever stay here again.
Good location and pretty good breakfast.
Hotel was old and run down. The carpets in the lobby and hallways were badly stained. The room door was cracked and the chair in the room had a big rip in it. There was no bedspread on either bed.
Location, free shuttle bus service, price
Breakfast, old facility, old and dirty blanket
Room was spacious and clean. Reason I hesitate to recommend is because it's not on best side of town and some guests were noisy but that's not hotels fault.
Not on best side of town.
Our tv didn't work and neither did the refridgerator.
It was cheap
The room was dirty and the door to the bathroom would not shut. There were a lot of weird people hanging around as well
The only good thing about the Hotel was that is was Cheap. So if you are looking for a cheap, non secure hotel with no wash clothes, this one is for you. Not me.
This hotel need updating very bad! Too many updates to mention. The Biggest concern was every time we came back to the hotel the security locked door was always propped open with a rock. We always locked it when we came in, but when we would leave again, there was the rock propping the door open again.
We need a place to sleep and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. This place came up and looked decent...It was well worth the money. Plus it had free breakfast.
Outside is a little dated. Much nicer on the inside.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean enough. Wifi worked great and who can argue with a free breakfast? Location is perfect for what I needed. And, my children got to swim in the perfect sized pool!
Carpeting was a bit run down and clean towels were hard to come by. Several young men sitting outside drinking alcohol in the parking lot made me quite nervous, and random people were wandering the halls and loitering in the lobby. I think people actually live at this place.
Our car was not broken into. The mattress was good.
Our nonsmoking room smelled like an ashtray. Staff and/or visitors were loud outside of our window at all hours of the night. At the front entrance staff would congregate and smoke. Only the desk staff spoke English. If ICE did a surprise inspection, I think everyone else would be deported. Outside garbage containers were overflowing and apparently not emptied for our entire stay. Debris littered the side entrance and was not cleaned up. Family and children occupied the lobby while staff were at work. The bath towels were of inferior quality and were not much better than sandpaper to the touch. This facility is poorly managed and the sensitivities of its guests are low on the list of considerations. Just because DaysInn is relatively inexpensive does not give it the excuse to be so tawdry. Better policing of staff, site conditions, and activities of guests and workers at all hours would go a long way toward improvement.
One of the lowest price hotels in the twin cities Metro area and it allows dogs! Huge courtyard that was great for my little Terrier. Ended up actually enjoying the retro floral decor. Understand that you get what you pay for and I think a tremendous value for the money.
The hotel room felt like it was straight out the nineties. Had an old tube television, AC was loud and decor was 80's to 90's floral patterns - might bother some, but not me! Breakfast was pretty poor but hey - it's free and a cheap hotel!
The manager was rude and very threatening toward customers
I did not like the fact that they would not take cash. No matter how much money I had in cash, I still could not have a room.
It was fairly cheap but very nice & cozy
The wifi sucked
Low-cost accommodations for a 3 week stay. Very good breakfast bar, re-stocked quickly. Nice staff.
Wi-Fi is pretty slow. Hallway carpeting is dirty. Pool does not look like it should be used - water is gray - but lots of people used it.
When we arrived we were given a king bed room when we had booked 2 queen, that was quickly resolved. The halls smelled awful like people were living there, and cooking seafood in their rooms. Loud music all night for a birthday party, with kids hanging out playing in the halls. Men spitting on cars outside blasting music, and the room next to us had at least 10 people sleeping in it, came outside one morning to see people sleeping in cars in the lot. Staff was pleasant but not good at getting these roudy guests to quite down.
The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast in the morning was good and the pool was nice, but a little less chlorinated would even be better. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The locks on the outside doors should be fixed, so they can only be accessed by hotel patrons and staff.
