Score from 122 reviews Good
The place is neat and affordable. The people at the front desk are nice and friendly. The room was clean and quite.
The money charged is not as we booked the hotel on line.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
No clock radio, no iron, no ice on the floor, broken remote, pillows very small for a king size bed. Hotel was hard to find, no view in any direction. No breakfast served as promised.
The beds were very comfortable, the room always smelled clean, free Wi-Fi, and the staff was helpful. Heating and air-conditioning was fully-functional and easy to control. We wanted an inexpensive room that was clean, in a safe location, and not too far from a train station. It was a nice place to crash after spending busy days in the city.
The hotel had changed from a Days Inn to Motel 6 after I had booked, which meant we no longer would receive breakfast even though I was paying the same price. Our toilet had a very poor flush. Bathroom was tiny and there was no refrigerator, but overall, everything was worth the price.
We went attend a Chicago Fire soccer game and the motel was a very convenient location. The staff was helpful and courteous. Most other places we wanted to see were within 30 minutes of driving time.
The change to Motel 6 happened the day before we arrived and our reservation did not follow the changeover. There were rooms available, but at a slightly higher price.
It was reasonable, comfortable and convenient for us. A good place to spend the night.
Not a vacation destination.
There was no breakfast. This is not days inn anymore.. this is motel6. We were charged for daysinn rate for motel6 accomodation
We were not notified about the change-over. The room had no amenities: coffee maker, refrigerator , microwave, chair, plastic cups, little bottles of shampoo, or TV channel line-up. It hadn't been completely prepared for guests yet. No breakfast was available, either, just coffee.
Nothing. Well, the employees were nice. Also, Wi-Fi was good.
The place smelled smoky, musty, and gross. The key cards didn't work so we had to be escorted to our room every single time in order to enter our room. The pillow cases and sheets smelled like cigarette smoke and musty.
the room was clean but sparsely furnished.
no key to my room.
bedding price complimentary drinks in the lobby
Stains on the tiles in bathroom No fridge in the room breakfast on has drinks and toast. nothing else
The staff provided recommendations for dinner and it was a good recommendation.
From the Outside, I was a little nervous about what it would be like on the inside. The rooms were fine but I'd be looking forward to some renovation in the near future. Try to do something to the exterior that gives it a more safe appealing feel. If I were just driving by and didn't have a reservation, I probably would have looked for somewhere else.
Bed was awesome
Bathrooms old and tiny. Could use updating. Needs a fridge.
Cheap, friendly staff, provided amenities (shampoo, toilet paper, etc...) were adequate and free. Bed was clean and pillows were fluffy and plentiful. Bathroom was clean and nice. Good shower head and water pressure.
Room smelled weird and there were mysterious red stains on the box spring of my bed. Made me wonder if a murder was committed there. Floor seemed nasty, desk was sticky, and the room was overall not very clean.
Very good location, a quiet room, helpful staff.
The staff were welcoming. The room was clean.
The signage wasn't prominently displayed and I drove by the property initially. Days Inn is part of a group of hotels and the breakfast was rather disappointing compared to other facilities operated by the chain. There wasn't a mini-fridge and the ice machine on our floor was not functioning (not a major issue).
Hotel was very clean, the staff was very courteous and helpful and the breakfast was good.
Nothing - it fit the bill perfectly for our purposes.
kind of smelly
Some staff were nice.
Too many dogs. Saw poop on the hallway floor.
Rooms were switched by accident, hard time getting into room. No fridge/microwave. Breakfast wasn't available all morning/day or juice selection
Entire building smelled like an ashtray including our "non-smoking" room. An old building with thin walls next to the highway. Not up to my expectations of a Days Inn
nice location , room is big , facilities are good .
staff are not very friendly at the reception "except one " they seemed to be frustrated ,
