Great location, very friendly, comfortable and clean hotel.

Perhaps too fastidious about changing towels and bed linen daily and replacing soap bars, so not eco-friendly in this respect. Some curious choice of images on walls, a lot of women's legs. Why?

Very near to 96th St subway and we had a nice new renovated room and new bathroom

I like the location because subway is right next to the hotel, perfect for business trip.

The hotel room has very cheap TV set old and dangerous elevators.

Lifts not working Gym dsigraceful..broken equipment and needs a serious makeover

The location was ok! Close to a subway station!

The bath tube was blocked, the toilet was leaking, the telephone in the room was not working, so we could not reach reception! Horrible! When talking to the manager about all this, nothing changed! They gave us 30% discount, which didn't change the horrible night we had!

The location was great just cross the street and there is the metro station and the proximity also to a variety of restaurants and the Central Park. Nice neiborhood.

Bit small, but I guess its standard for the price.

Good location. Hotels Wi Fi did not worked, but there are other wifi at the 11th floor that was functioning.

During our check in there was no system, so we waited almost 30 minutes.

I have been staying at the Days hotel for the last 10 years. My daughter and grandsons live close by so it is very convient. I do know some of the employees and feel confidalble at the hotel the new decor is functional. I do recommend that you put a towel bar in the bathroom and possible handicap bar in the tub. Also a full length mirror on the closet door. Thanks for booking for me with changes made if need to shorten or cancel trip. diane

Location was convenient to downtown Manhattan and 24hr places to eat and drug stores

We did not get the room that I booked. I equested queen bed. Got 2 beds full and twin and was charged a different price. I was very upset about that.

Cleaning was not well done Small room Elevators are very slow Cockroaches!!!

Location is good. 5-10 minutes on metro from Times Square. Free WiFi in room.

This is a very bad value for high price. We stayed in room 415 for 4 nights. The view from room was terrible. From all three windows in our room I could see the wall of next building in 2 meters! We could shake hands with the guys from this neighbor building if we would want to!!! So in the room there is no sun light never during the day! The light inside the room has to be always on and the windows should be always hidden so neighbors would not look. You cannot ever understand if it is a day or night on the street! The second huge problem is the light inside the room. It is very week even if you turn on all of it! So the room is always dark as it's light is not enough and windows do not give a sunlight. We asked reception to change out room and move us a bit higher but they refused. Third problem is room heating. We arrived when it was cold in NY. I asked hotel staff to turn on the central heating. Their engineer told us that in the evening the room will be wormed up. In the evening nothing changed. I called him again and he did something so that the heat started to work BUT the noise of it was like somebody was striking some metal by a hammer! This was not all the time of course but regularly! And the hotel staff was never helpfull. I consider these problems as absolutely unacceptable for hotel with such price. Comparing to the ones specified above unhelpful hotels staff, high noise from other rooms and elevators not working for several days were not a problem. I would never recommend anyone to go to this hotel.

Great quality for the price

Slow elevators, no view from the window

- Location (Close to central park and subway station) - Price - Room was modern and very clean (we received a free upgrade) - Welcome snacks in room

- Having to pay for internet use and printing facilities (to print boarding flight passes etc). - Lift took a good 15 minutes to get down to reception. Lifts need a serious maintenance check and it creaks and misses floors. - There was this blue lights coming from the base of the bed, for which we could not find the switch to turn off. - It was very noisy in the reception desk when we booked in, as a group of students was in the lobby gathering around. - Reception staff seemed annoyed at either us or the students noise level.

Nice location next to express subway station and close to Central Park. Nice staff. Fast wifi.
