No eating facilities at this hotel, No bar facilities at this hotel.
The sercises of the staff
The elevators is hard to catch and are to old
The room itself and the bathroom were very nice and comfortable. There was lots of storage and the room was very light. I found it very well cleaned every day when I returned
My room was right opposite the ice machine, which was very noisy. There was only one working elevator which was made it very slow to get in/out of the room on the 11th floor. The wifi in the room was patchy
Service was poor Elevators were broken Elevators that were working were small and slow Enough Towels weren't provided despite a request for some I could go on but it's not worth the effort
Be careful when booking out... it takes a long time to get an elevator.
The buiding is really old and not in good condition. Part of the hotel was renovating. Only 2 out of 4 elevators operated. There was always a long line in front of the 2 elevators. We went as a group and occupied 11rooms. There were always something in some rooms didn't work such as no cold water, no water, air conditioning broken. Even the staff may try to fix the problems or were willing to change room for us, sometimes they just didn't have rooms available and we had to wait for the next day and packing and moving luggage several times.
As all the other customers are writing, the biggest problem are the elevators. Only 1 elevator is not enough and it is really slow
It was close to the subway
Elevators didn't work, had to take the stairs. It smelt terrible. You can hear ur neighbors as well as the street... just terrible
Close to subway, easy to access the sites!!
Room was quoted old fashioned and dated for the price!!
Great staff. Comfortable beds. Very accessible location.
Elevator situation was huge inconvenience
The location of restaurants is excellent. ....Easy traveling access.
The furniture & television were out dated and old, and your floor rug was torn, old and filthy.
It was very old
I liked the location.
there were roaches
Location of the hotel was amazing. next to the Subway 96th line 1-2-3. close to central park and liquor store, food and restaurant...
Elevator in the hotel was very slow and only 2 of them work. A big hotel like this should have it fix ASAP. Room could be cleaner... I find spider web... but no Spiderman.
Location Easy access Affordable price
- No noises
- old - elevators small and always full - a lobby small
Above all, location. The subway is conveniently located across the corner. The neighborhood is nice and feels safe. Nice places to have breakfast. The room was nice and very clean. It looks like the inner rooms (with no view to the street) are roomier (we got one of those).
One elevator was not working, but the wait to get in and off the other elevators was still okay.
Storing the luggage, work exellent
The key didn't work The elevator didn't work No fridge Small room, small hallways, small lobby small beds. Noisy airco
Club level rooms are worth spending a little extra.
Have stayed here 3 times and my only suggestion would for them to staff at least two people at the reception desk as this is a busy, budget hotel and guests seem to require some hand holding, which takes time.
Location , staff
Wifi doesn't work in rooms so had to stay in a lobby. gym has only two bikes,
I had a prepaid reservation. Do to an emergency I had to leave early. When I tried to check out the front desk told me that I would lose the rest of my payment for 3 more days. I asked if anything could be done about it and was told "no." A day later when I called Booking.Com the said I could get a refund, but only for one day because I didn't call sooner. Had the front desk told me, I would have called right away. I have stayed at this property for 5 years. Unless this is righted by refunding one more day, I will not stay here again. And I will tell my friends the same. Tom Schneiger
A subway station was located near it. There was a laundromat in front of it.
Only one elevator was in use, ocassionally two. Both of them are small ones. They were used also by the cleaning service carrying also the vacuum cleaners. There was an old fashioned TV in which only two channels were seen with very poor quality. The bathtub was a rusty one.
no complaints great price would stay again been here second trip
