Even though the service was awesome they should not have to come up More Then 2 Times To Fix THE bathroom
Service was awesome.
We stay here about twice a year. It seems that the same elevator has been out of use for some time. This can cause a problem when leaving with suitcases in the morning as you may have to wait some time for one.
It is in a very convenient location for us being around the corner from where our son and family live. Generally it is in a good location. The price is extremely good for the location. Rooms are clean.
Wifi sucks, no breakfast
Location, nice staff but some are not so nice
Booked a room for 4 people. Had No washcloths, only 2 towels.
Very small room. Much needed remodeling. No breakfast.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Good neutral location made travel to various parts of the city a breeze.
Water blocking in the bath every time we have shower NOT GOOD at all, toilet flush was broken and on our last day water dripping from top floor,
The staff were friendly and helpful .
Elevators-to slow and only 2 from 4 available
Location-next to 96th metro station A lot of bars, pubs and markets near to hotel Clean rooms Close to Central Park Very safe area Not bad wifi
custoner service. The employees were rude, snappy and not helpful at all. Couldn't even call or get us a cab. Only had one elevator in the entire hotel working. There was always a line for the elevator. Very old hotel. Overall would not recommend staying at this hotel!!!
Days Hotel offers easy access to the theater district via the subway. The local neighborhood has nice shops, restaurants and deli's.
Elevators are old and slow Only 1 particular staff member wasn't too friendly
Location Helpful staff Transportation accessible
the door to our room was in the stairwell so we had to hear people coming and going throughout the night. the room and bathroom was smaller than it appears in pictures
Located near a lot of great restaurants and between 2 subway entrances its an easy ride to time square brooklyn or the Bronx. The Upper west side location is great.
Elevators not in service made for very long wait to go in or out. No Tv remote. Small room, last year we were here and had a much larger room.
Only one of the four elevators was working during my stay, It was terrible.
The drains in the toilet were partially working so the water would back up in the sink and shower. There is no parking and its far from time sq.
Nothing except for the door man
There wasn't any room service
I had read a lot of online reviews before I checked in, so I knew to ask for a room on a lower floor due to the lack of elevator service (one elevator bank was completely out of service, the other 2 elevators were tiny, slow, and occasionally one of the two was not working at all.) My first room had a bathroom sink with either a clog or problem causing it to drain very slowly (Room 217.) One day I went out to an appointment, and when I returned that night, someone had tried fixing the sink (I didn't make any complaint since it wasn't a big deal to me...) I washed my hands and... the water drained onto the floor! I called downstairs and they told me I had to change rooms that night! I was yelled at by the engineer repeatedly that I must vacate the room ASAP (it was almost 10 pm!) The entire mess was handled poorly. I promised not to touch the sink that night and begged to be allowed to move rooms in the morning. The next day there was much confusion on finding me another unoccupied room on a low floor, but eventually I was moved into 217, which was almost identical except that it had a nicer TV with more channels and a more ergonomic desk chair. I was only given the courtesy of a 2pm late check out time (they charge for late check outs) for this inconvenience, and I had to really make a big argument with the front desk in order to even get that tiny 2 hour freebie. It was entirely stressful having to pack and move down the hall and then unpack again just because they wanted to make emergency repairs to a sink that merely had a slow drain problem until an employee started to fix it while I was out at a meeting. It was a business trip and I had tons paperwork, etc- relocating caused lots of disorganization for the project I was in the middle of working on; considering I didn't cause the problem with the sink, I don't think I should have had to beg for a free late check out time when I was leaving a few days later.
I was traveling on business, so the proximity to excellent public transportation was a great asset (#1, #2, and #3 train is one block away!) There is no room service per say, but they have an extensive amount of local restaurants which will deliver right to your hotel room. Many good inexpensive restaurants less than one block away. There is a laundromat right across the street that picks up and delivers for wash/dry/fold service. Also, laundry room on the 2nd floor which I didn't use, but was a nice extra. The staff was extremely helpful with any questions or requests I made. If I called for extra towels or coffee for the in room coffee machine- items were delivered immediately. I was in a non-renovated room on the 2nd floor, and it had everything a business traveler would need.
Elevators are horrible.
Their beds are comfy cozy.
The running water from the shower had a brown tint, which was a bit alarming. Our room had no microwave or mini fridge and a very outdated TV. The bed had no bed spread, but only sheets. Also, vending machines were only on 3 floors mentioned on a small obscure sign. We felt like we were staying at a hostel and not a hotel.
But when I arrived two of the four elevators were shut down and the remaining two were freight elevators that had to be shared with staff. By the third day one of those was shut down and the whole building was using one elevator. We got no financial consideration for this and it was a nightmare.
Much liked the location. The staff was generally very nice and tried to be responsive but I had to call the desk several times for some basics like extra towels or cups. Not really a complaint though.
The TV was with two channels only. Not really clean. Wifi very slow. Carpet destroyed. The stove and the toilet start becoming noisy in the middle of the night.
People who work in Days Inn Hotel are very helpful. Great location.
I have stayed at this hotel for 2nights and paid more 50dollars than what I should pay because hotelier said that is deposit for damages when I stay at this hotel. And they promised to give back my 50dollars when I check out. However they didn't moreover they took out my 50 dollars from my credit card. Don't stay at this hotel. I have never stayed terrible hotel in my life.
Been going for years, should be renovated completely by now.
Location and price.
small rooms and bad signal at room. I can't connect to wifi in my room.
great location, very close to subway station and grocery stores.
Uneven service and mixed use low-income residents mixed with hotel guests.
Great access to Upper West Side at a very reasonable cost.
The room is very basic, need remodelation..right away!!
The location, you have the train station right away..express and local, in the corner..There is a bakery cafe...Open until 3am..cvs, pharmacy, starbucks
