    Location of the hotel was amazing. next to the Subway 96th line 1-2-3. close to central park and liquor store, food and restaurant...

    Elevator in the hotel was very slow and only 2 of them work. A big hotel like this should have it fix ASAP. Room could be cleaner... I find spider web... but no Spiderman.

    Above all, location. The subway is conveniently located across the corner. The neighborhood is nice and feels safe. Nice places to have breakfast. The room was nice and very clean. It looks like the inner rooms (with no view to the street) are roomier (we got one of those).

    One elevator was not working, but the wait to get in and off the other elevators was still okay.

    Club level rooms are worth spending a little extra.

    Have stayed here 3 times and my only suggestion would for them to staff at least two people at the reception desk as this is a busy, budget hotel and guests seem to require some hand holding, which takes time.

    The room was clean. I was surprised to see an apple on the pillow, but realized what is stood for. It was great to be reminded I was in the big apple. We had a great parking space.

    There were only one elevator working. The hotel is being renovated. The hallways were extremely hot. The lobby is very small. No breakfast.

    Everybody was really helpful and nice. We showed up at 6:30 am with the intention of drop the luggage only and go back at 3:00pm to do the check in, but the front desk person Miriam, said that the room was ready and let us check in right away which was nice after a red eye flight. Location is great, I though the subway station was a block and a half away from the hotel, but really is less than half block. The breakfast voucher was also a great value, the food was really nice at the breakfast place.

    We didn't get enough towels ( no wash clothes at all). Also we could use a little fridge in the Room, is nice to have cold drinks available when you wake up or any time you want, specially with that kind of wether... The elevators were too small and old.

    Kind host on entryway Harlem Bus Tour was nice, but voice hard to hear.

    Gray Line cruise Pier 78??? We tried to find it for ever. No luck... (But we paid for it!!!) Please fix elevators

    The hotel is on a side street which gives it a more private feeling.

    There definitely seems to be a VAST difference between the floors that are renovated and those that are not. The elevators also run very slow.

    bedroom and bathroom were clean

    no cable tv. had to use stairs as only one of 4 elevators was working and guests had to wait for one in line. they also seemed dirty. the stairway also was not clean.The worst part was when I had to use the womens restroom before could get into our room- no seat on toilet!

    Paid for best room and it was more than adequate. Nice amenities in room.

    While in room it was fine, but everything outside is worn and needs functioning elevators!

    Bed was comfortable. Personnel responded immediately when toilet overflowed.

    Tub very slippery. Toilet overflowed. Had to request more towels.

    Close to the subway and out of the way of the hectic midtown area.

    This place needs a mega face lift. It was dirty, dingy, and outdated. The elevators were broken and the staff were way too committed to the 3pm check in time. Everywhere else I go, they will give you a room earlier if one is ready. Here, they wouldn't even entertain the idea. By 3pm, there was a chaotic lobby full of people.

    Doorman was really sweet. Directed us to a free space on the street that saved us a bundle. A well deserved tip!!!

    elevators were hideous. Two were out of order, so only two working elevators for a 13 floor building. people packed in like sardines. shudder the thought if it broke down...ugh!

    for the duration of our stay there was problem with the card key, everyday we had to change it, the front desk said that it due to technology so we left the card at the desk but we had the same problem, we stayed on the 4th floor and one day about 5 rooms all the people were locked out of their rooms and it was hot sitting on the floors waiting for maintenance to come open the doors, when he arrived he also had a problem with the card key so he had to go and change all of our keys. prank calls were put through to our room late at night from the front desk saying that the computers of the hotel have fallen and they need our credit card, luckily i thought that it sounds weird and ran downstairs to check, apparently it was someone trying to steal money from our credit card. at the time of our stay there was only one elevator the other 2 were out of order for 7 days and it took absolutely ages waiting for the elevator going up or down.the location is not close to the 42nd street where all the life is but the subway is on the corner

    The staffs were very friendly but we had problems with the cable system and the wireless connection and no one was able or willing to get it fix for our entire stay at the hotel.

    wi-fi and cable didn't work at all the entire time we were there. The hotel was marketed as having parking available, for an extra cost, but all they had was recommendations on where we might be able to find parking. We had to drive around and around searching for available parking. We finally find a lot several blocks away that charged double what the hotel said their parking would cost.
