2min walk from the metro Employees were nice and polite
Not really isolated (we could hear all the noises around all day and all night) Really cold even if the heat was on (had to ask for extra blankets) Need renovations in general Weird smell in elevators
We has a back room well away from the noise on Broadway. The free wifi.
it's nice to know that you can book a nice fancy hotel online that they tell you going to love your stay only to find out that when you get there they have accidentally or mistakenly overbooked and can't check you in your room because they don't have one but we can put you and your wife and your two children in a room with a twin size bed but don't worry we'll give you a rollaway well what about the other two people so I got to go to New York City for the first time in my life with my family and got to spend 350 dollars a nightto sleep on the flooryou should put that on your website
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone
Great value for money. Overall a very good experience. For a hotel at this price in NYC, this is a great deal. The rooms was recently renovated & tastefully I think. The bathroom is 5stars. The housekeeping is perfect. The front desk people & doormen were very helpful & friendly. They have many good tv channels including hbo & amc .
1- The Wifi was terrible ! But I have 3G, so I relied on that. 2- The elevators were a bit problematic. Out of the 4: one was out if service. One didnt have lights in the buttons ... So when you called it. U didnt know which floor it was on. And when you were in it, you didnt know if its going up or down. In fact, if you take it from the lobby and try to go up, it will go to the basement, open the door & just stop. It forgets to go up!!! So u have to push the up button once more.
The room was pretty nice and clean
The wifi was slow lol
Close to the metro (red line), close to Central Park (amazing), easy access for restaurants/drug store/Starbucks/etc, clean (house keep every day cleaning the room but they didn't through away my Mc Donald's garbage!)
Elevator sucks (they has two but only one was worked), wifi sucks - didn't work well,
Front desk was very attentive.
Pipes making too much noise. Toilet leaking
It was located convieniently
Rooms were too small.
Very thin and not nice blanket on the bed (sheets were ok). Whole experience could have been much improved by just investing in nicer blankets.
The room, bed, staff.
I had no facecloths in the bathrooms and I left a note to leave me some. The note was gone when I came back in the room in afternoon. The bed was made bathroom was clean But NO facecloths were left again!! Small problem but why take the note, if they didn't have any write on the note as such!!
Very close to a subway station
Poor heating. It was freezing. I asked a staff to raise the temperature but it didn't improve.
TV service and Bathroom
The hotel is great. Very clean, really comfortable beds and excellent location, next to restaurants, the subway station and central park.
However the hotel does not offer breakfast and you have to pay an extra fee to have a fridge inside your room.
Housekeeping was the best aspect of the hotel.
Had to put coffee maker on the floor to plug it in due to the outlet was a 2 prong extension cord and the coffee maker was a 3 prong. Also I had to plug the lamp in to the extension cord. Toilet kept running after use. Brought to the attention of the staff 2 days in a row and finally got results. Their fix was to cut the ground plug off the pot and leave it on the floor instead of throwing it away. Also, the heat was off and I had to ask for maintenance to come up. He said he was going down stairs to turn it on? Not what I am used to. There are other issues but have run out of room. Will not return.
Staff very helpful. Room cleaned daily.
Room in dire need of new carpet, decor very old and sad. Heating only plug in heater.
Given inferior room But paid same as others a in our party
Really clean, good location
Less dated forniture and equipments would have been nice
Good value for the money hard to find a gotel in manhattan that allows smoking.
In room phone did not work had to call front desk with cell phone and was disconnected twice. No blanket in the bedroom. We requested a blanket and were provided a fleece type one with many burn holes in it. It was clean but weird.
The location was great as it was less busy than other areas it was also close to the subway and Central Park making it easy to get around. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was always clean and comfortable
Fabulous helpful staff Free wifi Laundrette opposite Very clean Central location Great range of shops/facilities close
Being unable to turn the heating off..too hot Big too thick pillows No fridge/microwave/jug
Nice location, clean room and very comfortable bed.
I could not get WIFI in my room.
proximity to business
lousy elevators indifferent staff
Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and polite staff. Modernly designed lobby with comfortable furniture.
No flat screen TV, long elevator waits (slow elevator, not busy), bed didn't include comforter, just two sheets and a blanket.
