Clean and friendly staff
I booked online and the hotel agent couldn't find my reservation. They had one room available and I had no choice but to take it although it was higher than the online quoted rate for a king room. The walls and floors are too thin. You can hear everything. I even heard someones vibrating phone from another room.
Convenient and clean. Bed Comfortable.
Booked in advance a king bed and was told upon check in that none were available. No sincere apologies for this. Had to take 2 queens. Also alarm clock untouched by us went off in the middle of the night and woke us up. Staff should make an effort to "clear" the alarm clock when cleaning rooms.
It was very clean, quiet and easy access from the hwy. I was on a road trip and just passing thru, but I got a great nights rest which is what I was looking for.
wi-fi was very poor. Couldn't use it because it was so weak
Loved the hot tub & pool!!!
Having to get up so early for breakfast & not being able to check in till after 3 on day of arrival!!
Outstanding breakfast with all that anyone would like. The coffee and juices were super as were the eggs, sausage and waffles.
The bed was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful
The highway was close so there was quite a bit of road noise that you could hear from our room.
Price. Staff was helpful.
Room has a slight odor of cleaning fluids which was a bit unpleasant. If you are passing through Childress, TX it's not a bad choice.
Very spacious and large room.
Bathroom was a little dark and dated.
A little problem with the commode not flushing properly, but we where close to the bathroom by the pool..,
For the money this motel was a nice place to stay, it was in a good location with easy access.
Room was large, bath sink separate from tub and toilet, many drawers for storage, nice desk and free Wi-Fi, and comfortable chairs, microwave & fridge. Attractive as well.
Staff not overly friendly or helpful. During raging rainstorm, asked to borrow an umbrella to get to ours in our car, and was turned down. Breakfast was OK, but shut down 5 minutes early while we were still there.
I like it
Needs repair in places
East to find and navigate location on the strip. This is a fairly new motel with comfortable rooms and beds. The a/c was icy cold, bathroom very clean, hair dryer and coffee maker in room also iron and board. Breakfast included predictable but edible. Normaly very affordable but prices raised for 4th of July weekend.
towels plentiful but like sandpaper. no meat on breakfast menu prices raised from $58 to $76 on 4th of July weekend.
It was good that we could book the same day. Desk staff was nice, welcoming. However we were given a king handicap room, and not informed that was what it was. Breakfast at 6 am was good for our early morning departure.
Room was surface clean, bed was not comfortable, and I woke with a few small bites on my legs. Could use a thorough cleaning and air freshened.
Cleanliness was good.
The traffic noise.
comfortable great breakfast
Nice pool and hot tub.
The staff was excellent, especially a young woman at the desk. She was very friendly and willing to help in any way, including offering to help carry bags. That was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, including biscuits and gravy and make your own waffles. We would definitely stay there again.
The staff was very friendly and attentive
The view from our room looked directly into someone's backyard - it felt a little odd
Easy to book, reservation waiting for us, ample parking for a large vehicle and trailer, hot breakfastwith scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy plus waffles, cereal, fruit and rolls. Excellent value for the money.
It was a restful stay.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast was good. The gentleman and lady that worked the front did a great job.
There wasn't much to watch on the TV.
The room was clean and recently updated. The coffee was good.
The wi fi was so slow to be virtually unworkable. I had to ask for ice as the ice machine was broken. The drapes were pulled loose and sagging. The commode ran water all the time. The tv was inoperable. Don't know if it was the tv or the signal.
The room was nice and clean location was good cleaning crew was good breakfast was good
We walked in there was a middle aged man at the desk my guess it was the manager (Kiran Bhuakta) I've NEVER delt with someone in this industry as rude as he was he ask our name I gave him my name I made the reservation on my credit card.he looked on the computer for about 10 min them asked me if it was for one room I said no it's for 2 rooms 2 nights still looking as if he couldn't find it so I said one min I have the info on my Ipad went to the car brought it to show him the reservation info....he NEVER looked up at me my mom or sister he said no I have it here so he proceeded to tell me he needed to charge the card and was the card I made the reservations with the one I wanted to us. That's when it got bad I told him I have never been charged at the checkin for the rooms because I was paying with a different card than I reserved the room with and my sister was paying cash so for the next 15 min we argued that fact...I told him I have stayed in a lot of hotels and the only time I've ever had to pre pay is if I got the room at a discounted room rate..not only did he charge us at checkin he didn't give us a senior rate he said that Days Inn offered....after all this he left and we didn't see him the rest of the stay witch was just fine.the other people cleaning we're very nice but didn't understand English we put do not disturb sign on the door but they came in the room to clean anyway.
