Proximity to Pier/Beach
Location ideal, value fantastic, rooms basic but fine need a little up dating.
We were driving up the coast from Miami and prebooked the night in Cocoa Beach because it was a convenient distance and short drive to the Kennedy Space Center the next day. Breakfast was basic but included so that was nice, too.
We had lots of luggage and got a room on the 1st floor which was a bit inconvenient, but we managed. We had a more spacious business room, so that made up for it I guess. ;-)) The bathroom is a bit used but it still works so that's alright.
frendly staff, good breakfast, just few steps from beach, clean pool.
The front desk & staff was very nice..We stayed 5 days & had a clean room, good complimentary breakfast, good location, fair price..Lordwilling we will be back next year...
Room was very clean, but maintenance personnel could have done a better job taking care of a few things in the room, there was a gap under the front door at the floor, light bulb out in lamp, sink kept clogging up, a/c vent filter was dirty..
BED BUGS, clog sink, bathroom door knob is about to fall out, main door warping causing a big gap on the floor that the whole hand can pass through, which is the reason of other BUGs can come inside the room. Feel like camp outside with LOTS OF BUGS!!!! By morning time, everyone (including a 7-year old child) got bite marks all over the bodys from sleeping.
This hotel is a great option for Cocoa Beach and Cape Kennedy. It has a good relationship between the cost and its facilities. Has a surprisingly good breakfast hotels for this cost.
Excellent breakfast (no eggs) Comfy beds Location, walking distance to the beach and peer!
At first sight everything was clean: sheets, towels, all very nice, untill i started looking for an electricity outlet behind the bed and closets ... Too expensive for what it is
About a block from the beach near the pier. Good spot for folks who like the beach. Room was clean, beds are OK.
No view. Room crowded with furniture . Right on a busy highway.
The room seemed a bit small, but I don't go to the beach to spend time in the room.
.good pool.conveniently located.quite well soundproofed
unfriendly staff at the reception.rooms tidied in a haphazard way.breakfast very basic
Would be great if mould problem was dealt with and air conditioning units upgraded.
Air conditoning unit leaking badly , carpet was saturated, only noticed when took shoes off. room smelt mouldy. Cleaner was aware, but nothing done until reported to office, then room was changed day before I left. Also mould around inner rim of wash hand basin, not good at all, in both rooms. Mould cannot be seen when you look down onto wash basin but if you look in mirror reflection it can be seen all round the rim, under the counter top. It looks disgusting. Not at all hygienic and a health hazard
Good big clean room, staff were accomodating as we needed to check in early. Great location close to pier, would recommend.
Location, bed confort, breakfast .
Carpet on floor (for Florida should be ILLEGAL to have carpet on the floor) The air conditioning noise, not too loud but a fan noise blowing all the time.
Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Coffee was available in the office all day at no charge. That was a plus for me. Rooms were fairly soundproof. I was a little worried when I saw a bus full of young adults pull in. But I didn't need to worry. Our room stayed quiet and peaceful!
Bed linen was clean as was the bathroom
Rooms were as bad as we've ever stayed in. The last time we stayed in such a grotty room was in another Days Inn in Orlando 1998. This is a Motel, not a Hotel. The rooms badly need complete refurbishment and redecoration. Cheap furniture not matching on terribly old and worn carpet. Stained lamp shades, large crack in ceiling, old and noisy a/c unit, table lamp not working, old and basic bathroom and basin, old and noisy fridge. I could go on and suffice to say would not recommend this motel and would not stay again
Friendly staff,good location
Filthy pool environs and pool water due to constant bird fouling
Great value for money, excellent location.
Melisa at the front counter checked us in and just like last year, she was fantastic! She was a huge part of the reason we came back this year, and once again, she was outstanding! The housekeepers were always on top of things for us, always courteous and professional. They always provided us with everything we needed. Ad of course, the breakfast; always a plus! Good choices and excellent brands!
Having to leave... But we will be back next June, again! Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!
It was a great location....right by the Cocoa beach pier and beach. Kids loved the pool! Staff was great.
Free Ocean View upgrade.
Some of the rooms are just across the road, some 100 metres away from the beach. Very close to the pier. Friendly reception and breakfast staff.
No (obvious) elevator to the second floor rooms. Or room was rather badly serviced: some toenails were right in front of the bed and some of the lamps in the room did not work.
Dirty accommodation, air con and main light fitting not working. everything in the room was old and tatty, bathroom fitments dirty and badly stained - all in all very disappointing!
Location is fantastic
Can't say! Didn't stay there!
I spent two weeks prior to trip trying to find out where our reservations were. Couldn't find out and had to book a back up hotel. Received reminders on backup, but no email from Days Inn regarding upcoming reservations. Wish we had, we would have stayed there instead of backup hotel!!!
