The hotel is well located and reasonably priced considering the more luxurious options further south on Connecticut Avenue. The price is the clincher for staying at an otherwise non-descript hotel. |

budget, clean, safe, close to metro, free coffee in the lobby, free internet access in the room. no breakfast, no restaurant, no consierge service, reception desk is manned by 1 person at a time, and it seems that person mostly had no clue. I asked few questions, including the one about a nearest place for Chinese food delivery. they replied i was to look it up on internet. |

The proximity to the (Van Ness) metro was excellent. Easy getting to the sites and close to American University. I wish there were refrigerators in the room to hold snacks/breakfast foods as there is no restaurant on site. |

Convenient location, near metro station and restaurants nearby. Lobby personnel are unattentive. Need to train in courteous customer service. I stayed in room 221, and I suggest calling pest control. I was severely bitten by bed bugs. I am still being treated with topical cream and antihistamines. I would definitely not recommend a stay in this hotel. |

The hotel was generally good, quite and the location is good. Yes, I booked at rate of 109$ + Tax (which comes to about 124$ per night), however when I checked in they charged me 169$ for the first night ?. I felt that was not fair and probably not honest. |

The location was great--close to the subway which was excellent for our activities, restaurants and grocery a few blocks away. Room was on the compact side but comfortable and cheery color--we only slept there because we spent our time sightseeing. Only one front desk staff was unpleasant to deal with the rest were all friendly and helpful. Space was tight--in the elevator, halls and room. Only one person working the front desk during checkout in the morning. Could have been way faster with an express checkout system. |

The rate was good but would rather have paid a little bit higher rate to have breakfast included. The location to a metro stop was excellent. We wished for a refrigerator in our room. We stayed for 7 nights and didn't have a place to bring leftovers from the restaurant. The TV speakers were very scratchy sounding. |

Very comfortable bed and room. Impressed with the cleanliness of my room. On one night of my 6 night stay the people in the room next door were smoking (it was a non smoking hotel) and the smell drifted into my room. I complained to reception (in person) and the matter was not dealt with in a professional manner by the person on duty. However this only happened on one night. The 5 other nights I was there were great. |

The rate is good, and location is good too. The room is clean and comfortable House keeping wasn't good at all, all they did every day was to just arrange the sheets. In fact the hotel doesn't have any kind of service at all. Front Desk wasn't experienced nor cooperative. If I would recommend this hotel, will be only for the loction and the rates, nothing else. |
