big bed, room was well cleaned before my arrival
the bathroom was very dated, the old sink had just been painted over to make it look newer the exhaust fan was very noisy. it was very small and I had to close the door in order to get in the shower. the maid service was iffy, they made the bed but did not restock the coffee.
Advertised breakfast, cold cereal and coffee is not. Facilities in terrible condition. Way over priced.
Rooms are old and lacking in upkeep. Windows faces a wooden fence. Towel racks in bathroom are falling off the wall. The base of the bed was timber beams crudely nailed together.
Location, close to the main conference hotel
Stayed a couple of nights in November 2014. Old, worn down place, smelly room, furniture like from flea market, cracked windows and walls. Needs renovation badly. The check in is at 3 pm, I came at 1 pm and there was no any room available yet. it never happened to me, I always was able to check in a couple of hours earlier than regular check in. The price for the night at such place should be not more than 30$, I paid 80$.
Check out time was sooo early, 11 pm?!!!
Great staff, great location, great value. Thanks!
Everything was great!
We arrived at three and our rooms were ready. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice, but I am gluten intolerant, and there were few choices for me, so I went to the Denny's next door for an egg. Shower is great! Wish I could take it home. Rooms were recently renovated and very clean & comfortable. Highly recommended!
My room had a tricky lock and the doorknob was hard to turn. I had difficulty getting in until I figured out the system. Turn, push, grunt, bounce. :) room 115
Excellent customer service Good location - Dart a reasonably short walk away
Staff was friendly without being invasive. Facilities were clean. Decent place. Great value!
water pressure in shower
I like that affordable price and location of hotel. BUt overall the staff was good and friendly and thatcan go a long ways.
I hatd the fact that bugs (Crickets) are constantly coming in and out the room! There was no keeping them out! #UghTheWorst
The staff are friendly and the bed was comfy. Also, the WiFi was good.
The bathroom was tiny and grubby. Also, the bath didn't have a plug! The fridge made a racket all through the night and the carpet wasn't very clean. Not very good value for money.
Very close to AAC
Staff was friendly. Facilicities are well worn. I normally prefer to stay at nicer places, but this was only a mile from AA Center. It was a fine place for just a bed to crash in after a concert.
Old and a little rough.
About 15 minutes walk from Dealey Plaza which was good because that's the only reason I went to Dallas.
The room had a very bizarre and unpleasant smell. I think it came from the A/C unit which was also really loud.
Large and free parking, relatively close to downtown and I-35, very close to artists district. It's the cheapest hotel in all area of Medical Center and Market Center.
Air conditioning very noisy but necessary during summer (very hot and humid). No commercial area around. Old furniture.
Noisy vent fan in bathroom
The Staff was good....Thats all they have there working..
We arrived and staff was helpful. Our room had new carpet and the beds were very comfortable to sleep on. We stayed for 7 days.
The WiFi would not connect in the room we stayed. Signal was very low.
Free food and coffee in the morning. Front desk at night is extremely friendly.
My room was leaved open at the second night and nobody admitted entering it. Luckily nothing was missing. Bit far from the DART station. It will take about 9~10 dollars to downtown by yellow cab.
It was a typical American motel room, exactly like those you see in movies. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was neat and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful, especially if you're new to Dallas and needed assistance with directions, etc. I liked that that they had oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, juice and green tea for breakfast! I usually stay at hostels, so for me that was luxurious.
Referring to a previous guest's review, I also had a great number of crickets in my room. However the first night was ok, but it wasn't until my second night (after the thunderstorms!) that half-dead crickets kept appearing and I didn't know where from. They were mainly at the door and in the bathroom area. Had to make sure not to step on them. I threw them out to feed them to the birds.
Location - we were just stopping for a night, and visiting Midieval Times. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Moved room 3 times to get working a/c and no strange smell. Third room was good. It met all our basic needs. I wouldn't let our baby crawl on the floor.
Big clean rooms, the staff were very friendly, coffee making facilities.
WiFi didn't reach the room, breakfast miserly. Location is a bit out of the way for "uptown" where the bars and restaurants are located.
They were help ful
Hotel in the back with no windows is Scary!!!
Basic hotel at a basic price. The breakfast included in the price was a decent selection of cold food (cereal, bagels w/ cream cheese/jam, bread, muffins, juice, bananas, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, coffee/tea).
Mattress was too firm for my taste, but not too bad. The heater was very loud, so I woke up every time it kicked on during the night.
