Room was filthy! Sheets were disgusting. We switched rooms twice and all 3 were dirty. Don't stay here. This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed at.
Near the interstate.
Don't be fooled by the web site photos! We stayed here a few years ago and looked forward to a return to a clean motel which still offered a nice pool (according to the Days Inn & Booking.com web sites). What we found was a run down motel (despite the sign claiming 'newly renovated' rooms) where the pool was covered with a tarp and permanently closed (by 'regulations' we were told) with no reduction in rate. The exterior carpeting looked cheap and was frayed to cover up who-knows-what underneath (I have photos as proof). While the office and dining areas were clean, our room was not. The sink was stopped up with a big wad of slimy hair and there was mold in the bathroom, no condiments for the in-room coffee maker. Speaking of coffee, it was 8:08am, and there was no coffee made in the breakfast area and one of the two cereal dispensers was empty. Add to this the sporadic (at best) Wi-Fi and you get the idea. When told of our dis- satisfaction, the girl working (who was likely a family member of the facility owner) was quite indifferent and claimed that there was no manager available until 11am and that we could wait until then. Only when I balked at the ludicrously of this during our vacation did she reluctantly agree to leave a message for management to return a call to us. Three days later, we're still waiting for that phone call which we suspected then, would never be placed. Wyndham Hotels and Days Inns Worldwide, you need to re-evaluate the standards here...
Liked the beds....very comfortable.
My room smelled bad... and not good lighting in parking lot at night. My peep whole was stuffed with cotton and dirty towel hanging in the bathroom from previous tenant.
Dirty everything, no room cleaning when asked for. Also certain amenities not available. Smelled bad in the room. Air filter was clogged with dust, I had to wash it myself.
everything. the building felt like it was unlevel unsafe. the people were rude. It completely attracted the wrong type of people. Sat the wrong type of people kept piling in. We felt so unsafe we actually left and went to another hotel. We've traveled a lot worst place ive ever been. It ought to be condemned.
Peace and quiet. Great hospitality from employees
No vending machines for snacks and drink machine did not work
This was, without a doubt, the worst room we ever stayed in !!
For the price it was ok. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very nice.
The location. I would never stay there alone.
The breakfast was good.
The bathroom door would not shut, the sink would not drain for 3 days and I fell out of a chair in the room due to the back being broken.
leaving the premises
bathroom door falling off hinges, mattress frame seemed broken, large insect in room, noisy ac unit, trim on furniture edges missing, towels rough and need replacing, broken tiles on floor - pictures on internet Very misleading - could not have been the same hotel in the internet pictures!
I liked the privacy we had, no interruptions! Night shift staff was good!!
I did not like the staff person that booked us (she put us in the wrong room, put us in a room that was already taken) our keys never worked consistently breakfast variety was limited the cleanliness of the room was not up to par
Nothing, I booked on line and they would not let me check in to the motel when I arrived. Will never recommend to a friend or client.
Over all attitude of the desk clerk and unwillingness to help me. I had to drive to Dayton to be left out in the cold.
not very clean,
Nothing. The condition of this particular Days Inn caused me to cancel the next two nights at "Days Inn" locations in Missouri and Kansas (I was traveling to Colorado). However, I never saw the two other locations (Missouri and Kansas) so I cannot comment on "their" status. Finally, I had to keep a reservation at the Days Inn in Bastrop, (Austin) Texas for October 2, 3 & 4; this Days Inn was excellent! It had a well trained, courteous staff and very good and clean facitities. In fact, I intend to write and compliment the Days Inn parent company about Bastrop, Texas. Also, I intend to tell them that "Dayton needs a major fix-up!
It wasn't clean Someone else nocked my door
Great area. Close to everything.
Decor was old. Holes in the bedding. Not maintained. I was woke up in the middle of the night by kids arguing. Police cruisers. I killed a roach bug in the room, I took it to the hotel manger, nothing done, no questions ask. Not even an I'm sorry.
location offered large variety of restaurants
building seemed old. weren't even full size sheets on queen beds.
The location was convenient.
It was a poorly maintained motel that was not especially clean. The towels were ragged and the room was not cleaned the first day. There was a violent arrest directly outside of my room on the second night of my stay. The room smelled heavily of smoke.
