Atmosphere of the hotel was a little dark and gloomy.. Didn't feel very welcoming.
Was hair in the bathtub as we arrived bed clothes where dirty old TVs poor WiFi signal I wouldn't stay here again.
free breakfast! and was pretty good!
It was a smoking room, but no exhust couldnt even open window! so I couldnt smoke anyway! that sucked! and it smelled real bad of smoke because of it! how could it not, if the smoke cant excape!!
My friend & I traveled from Southeastern Ohio to University Hospital East for a same-day procedure I had to have on my back. We chose this hotel because it was south of Columbus, and we wanted to be closer to home, but we didn't want to drive the whole 2 1/2 hours home after my procedure. The room was clean & comfortable & we were given coupons for local restaurants, which made it easy to order take out. We slept well, and the breakfast was good. Seemed like there were plenty of choices, even for those who may be watching their weight or who may be diabetic.
The night clerk was really pretty rude to us. I had never booked a room thru booking.com before, so it was my fault that I didn't read the specifics as well as I should have (I swear I clicked some things that didn't show up in our reservation, but whatever). Like, we wanted a double, smoking room & I really needed a room on the ground floor because of my procedure, and when we asked about it, he just very rudely said that it wasn't in our reservation and he couldn't do anything about it unless we wanted to pay a much higher price. We didn't really interact with the rest of the staff, but the girl who checked us out was nice enough.
The mattress was total junk.
The rooms were clean. The location was good and easy to get to. Cracker Barrel right out the back door.
The outlets were such poor quality that most of our electronics wouldn't stay in the sockets. They were also such poor quality that they would not heat up my flat iron (for my hair), and ended up destroying my flat iron. The facility was very spread out. It would have been faster to drive to breakfast than to walk through the halls to get there.
This was the most disguising hotel I have stayed in my 60 years. I called three time to the desk for housekeeping with no avail. I then walked down and asked if they were short staffed. The answer was no! Then responded by saying they couldn't help me after telling them how dirty our rooms were. I had two rooms. I asked for cleaning supplies and was told they were locked up. I travel a far amount and like to stay at Days Inn. I even took pictures for evidence and will be happy to share. The night stand between the beds had at least a half inch of dusty, the one thing that is so visible. I am appalled and have no more words to decribe how dirty the whole room was. As I was at the desk, two other women were complaining about their dirty rooms as well so the cleanliness of the building was uncalled for.
Pool was ok.
Common areas, halls had no air cond. No place to sit for breakfast. Bar wasn't open.
The bar was closed The pool was closed The wi-fi doesn't work Security doors are all broken Breakfast was not edible only 2 outlets in the room
Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice
Breakfast could be improved.
Rate was good, we had a refrigerator while others in our group did not, relatively clean. Staff was friendly
Breakfast was limited, felt like I was at a truck stop hotel, not enough towels
I realize that you get what you pay for, but there were distinct deficiencies.... Concerning the safety of the pool itself.... There are metal surround pieces that are broken or missing around the pool's edge....I am surprised that no one has been injured. Musty smell.... I expected, but a cigarette hole in my blanket.... In a non- smoking room. Tile in bathroom could be cleaner...
the price was reasonable ($70)since it was the only option within 20 miles on late notice for a tournament at Berliner Park (5 miles away) that wasn't close to $200 per night.
the facility was very run down. the ac unit was so loud it made it difficult to sleep but we had to run it to try to clear the musty smell and dampness from the room. Captain Obvious probably wouldn't have been pleased with the facility either....
Location was good, easy on and off I-71 Price was fair.
Rooms were old and out dated .towels were old and very rough. Burn holes in Bed covers in non smoking rooms
location was right where we wanted to be for a baseball tournement. The staff were very nice and the service was good. its not fancy but the price was very good
It was clean pretty friendly staff close to alot of stores and highway
No lounge, breakfast was minimal. Not enough ice mahines. Pool was closed on a Friday eve
breakfast and staff
the constant vibration of the floor
They tried to charge my card before arrival despite Booking.com's explicit T&C. As I'd booked with my Visa debit and had unanticipated costs during travel and my pay didn't hit the bank til the following morning the funds weren't there. So upon arrival at ten pm after 15 hours of travel Iwas refused a room til I could reach my partner on opposite side of ocean to get his credit card details. Complete hassle and completely unnecessary as had I been allowed to pay on check out as expected none of this would have mattered. Gentleman was polite at all times but their policy is ridiculous. Couple that with the filthy carpets means I won't return.
It was available at the time.
Everything else. The hotel lobby and hallways were very cold. Cleanliness was very poor, building maintenance looked to be done by amatures. The Beds had sheets that barely fit, we were put in smoking rooms and they smelled horrible! The bath tub and walls were filthy, vents and light had built-up dust and dirt in them. It was just a horrible place, period.
Lack of hot water
The location was convient
The room was not very clean. The pillow cases were stained the blanket had burn holes in it even though it was a non smoking room
I had to go to walmart and buy bed bug spray before I would even sit on the bed.. Let alone sleep in it. Semi trucks everywhere in each parking area and none of the overhead parking spotlights worked at all to feel secure in the lot. I'm never going to stay in a days Inn again!
Unorganized and felt unsafe.
