The pool was ice cold. It looked nice in the pictures but unable to swim in it. The beds felt like you were sleeping on a board.
Great location, next to the metro. Cheap. Clean
A/C didnt work properly. It was all the time either very hot or very cold
Great location, close to trains. Starbucks across road. Helpful staff
Quite a bit of noise in room above. Noisy air con Big bulky furniture that took up lots of room
It's just one girl who worked in the reception that we liked. She was sooo helpful and nice to us. A girl with long black curly hair. So cute! And the cleaning ladies.
The staff in general was giving bad service and we did choose the hotel because of the location and because of the pool. But when we arrived the pool was closed because of re-construction and we didn't get the note, so disappointed! And it was bad lighting in the room, cold and mould, smelled weird.
Wish you had a small microwave.
Location, clean, it has a roll away bed option
Their rooms don't match the pictures they post. This is not a three-star hotel but a one and a half star motel. The parking is very limited. The beds are not comfortable.
location was great, next to the metro station, lots of shops nearby, personel was great regarding complaints we had
a bit loud when other guests are coming back to their rooms as doors are thin
Early check in
I liked the idea of staying in an authentic American motel. Nice story behind the founders of the motel too. Great to have a lovely pool with sun all day. Free parking- excellent. Free Wi-fi worked well too. Big fridge to keep my bits and pieces in. Lots of towels and nice eco-friendly toiletries. Shower basic but did the job. ATM machine too in the reception area. Ralphs amazing supermarket and GNC health shop across the road and Metro a minute walk away. Supershuttle picks you up to do airport run.
I would have liked access to a PC to do stuff like boarding passes but there is a place across the road altho expensive to use internet. I thought there was a wee cafe/diner but it has closed down -so breakfast has to be considered as either bring it or walk and get it. Bit noisy at night with people coming and going.
This is a MOTEL, don't be fooled. I felt totally unsafe as a solo female traveler. My room was like a dungeon on the ground floor that had several openings for someone to break in. The staff was uninterested when I expressed this concern to them and said, "you should be fine". Should is not what I want to hear in a situation such as this.
I loved how close we were to the train station. Starbucks was right across the street along with a grocery store. The housekeepers were very kind and efficient.
Hollywood itself is a little strange, but interesting strange I didn't feel in danger at any point. The bathroom was also small, but it got the job done.
Location was poor. Not safe after dark. Sink leaked, fight broke out in the parking lot. Interesting characters in and around the hotel. Homeless people all over, people asking for money. Not a family hotel. My kids were very uncomfortable and scared and wanted to find a different hotel. Hotel was not what we expected based on the reviews and pictures.
Very noisy - could hear everything happening outside the door!
much noise in rooms guests screaming , listening to loud sound , and the hotel did not do anything ... I´ve been there yet, but never more !!!
No restaurant for breakfast
Starbucks and jamba juice are right across the street.
The Motel's location was conveniently close to the relative we were visiting.
Nice location, Ross, Ralph, stores and restaurant just cross the street. 2 mins walk to Thai food area.
A little bit noisy from neighbor and street vehicles. Do not provide breakfast.
My daughter and I came to California to be on the Ellen DeGeneres show. We got so lucky to pick this hotel at the end of the strip where it was quiet. We loved being close to the Metro station.
The hotel in need of a little remodeling, the bathroom shower stall was partially broken and the curtain rod was hung so that the curtain wouldn't stay closed. It wasn't a huge deal, but could use a little work.
The free internet. A lot of clean towel. Easy check-in!
Can't smoke inside or outside your room!
This is absolutely decent and fine for a motel stay. Nothing too fancy; recommended.
Staff was supper nice and the cleaning lady would go above expectations!!!
The pool was closed we I was there
Good location, clean
Too much noise frim tge rooms beside. Bathroom a little old
Great Location, great value. Will be even better when renovation finish.
the hotel was close to a lot of important stores for a traveler. the neighborhood was good too. commercial, not ghetto residential.
