I used the hotel computer. Inserted a $10.00 bill and used it for only one or two minutes for a total of $2.00. The hotel kept the balance of the money with and stated that there was no way to refund the difference. This is a rip off.
Checkin and checkout staff were very nice. Breakfast was tasty and well served. The shuttle service made our airport trip easy both ways. Drivers were very nice too.

I was on a 1 night stop over in New York on my way to the Caribbean. I picked this hotel from several online because of its proximity to the airport and I was not disappointed. The shuttle was waiting when I got to the pick up point and we were at the motel in less than 15 minutes - exactly what you need after an 8 hour flight from the UK. The staff at reception were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and having reliable guest wifi was great for checking those last minute details and checking in for the final stage of my journey. The room was clean and comfortable albeit a little small for anything more than a few nights but I had a good night's sleep. I left at 5.30 the following morning so didn't get to have breakfast but the shuttle was right on time with a very helpful driver - dripped me right outside my terminal and directed me exactly where to go fe there. All in all a good value for money stop over experience.
The view from my window appeared to be a discussed bus junk yard. Not a problem on a 1 night stop over but I would have found it irritating to look at during the day.

The shuttle service between airport, car hire area and hotel was great. The hotel was fine, cheap and cheerful. The room was adequate, albeit very small.
The area was a bit dodgy, I wouldn't recommend anyone staying there if they didn't need to be close to the airport.
Bed was comfortable, wasn't super expensive and there was free parking.
1st night the air/heat didn't work. The shower curtain was 2 mm longer than lip of tub. After shower water was everywhere in bathroom. Shower curtain was exchanged the next day and the air/heat was "fixed."

The hotel was close to the JFK airport, and it was a clean and comfortable room. It was small, but I was already expecting that for being in New York. I had two big bags and a roller carry-on bag so I didn't want to deal with getting on the air train to catch the shuttle to the hotel so I just took a taxi. I was worried there wouldn't be enough room on the free shuttle to the airport but later found out there are two shuttles. It was nice because I was dropped right off at the passenger drop off area for the airline I was taking. I chose to sleep in instead of eating breakfast so I can't review how their breakfast was.
That there isn't a restaurant that serves lunch or dinner in the hotel. The desk clerk does offer menus for restaurants that deliver though.

Only two small towels in room, there was a small hotel sized bottle of shampoo and conditioner but no soap.
-Waffle machine maker in the breakfast room, love it and love the taste of the waffle. -Clean, decent hotel although small -and shuttle bus from/to airport, you can also use Holidays Inn buses but you need to specify you're going to Days Inn jfk.
-No fridge/refrigerator -pillow is very small, like for babies not adult pillow -no hotel sandal but all other amenities is good -rarely use the shuttle bus due to its long waiting, only operates every hour, and on every half hour e.g.: 7.30, 8.30, 9.30 and time is precious in New York so had to take a cab for USD15 to go to Sulphit Boulevard to catch Metro. -also don't forget to have at least 5dollar in your Metro card when returning from Manhattan trip because you will have to tap your Metro card when you exit from Metro line into AirTrain but not when you enter in while going to Manhattan. If you check-out and want to keep your bags, you can ask them to keep it for you but to prevent paying again USD5 exiting Metro to enter AirTrain, I'd suggest keep baggages in Baggage Storage : small bag USD4, medium USD8 and large USD11 for 24hours and you can just sleep at airport if you want to extend your stay without having to pay for hotel
The only good thing was that the hotel was close to JFK airport & had a free shuttle bus to the airport to & from JFK airport. That's all!
The staff at the reception were not very friendly. I asked for a late check-out until 3:30 pm, but they said that I would be charged $40 for each hour after 1:00 pm! The room was not clean & dust everywhere. No nearby facilities like restaurants or a 7/11. The neighborhood looked awful. The hotel was extremely expensive, better just add $20 more per night and stay in a four star hotel. No restaurant in the hotel, the breakfast area had only 3 small, old tables, no fridge at the room, no safety box, no facilities,... the list is long. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel and helpful staff
The AC/heating in the room was old and cranky, making so much noise I couldn't sleep. The breakfast was way below standards. Basically muffins and waffles (no bread, cheese, yogurt or any other basics), and you had to pay for the coffee.
