Appreciated having a breakfast option however would have preferred some hot items. Saw that the business class received some amenities (popcorn) that the other guest did not.
Perfect location for visiting family in Lakeview. Easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants and public transportation.
They upgraded our room for no reason and it was a very pleasant and welcomed surprise!! It actually was our 45th anniversary and they didn't even know it!
Room size was small but adequate for one. Would have opted for business size if I had realized how small.
Staff was wonderful. Breakfast a bonus. Value was great. Hotel was very clean.
Could'nt make reservation because of car touble. No refund. Never again at a days inn
Parking was non existent , you have to use valet. Could be noisy at night, suggest you ask for higher floor. Run the fan to provide white noise cover. Light from bathroom window shines on bed, we had to keep bathroom door shut.
The location was close to our family, and to many stores and good restaurants. Newly renovated. Ask for business space room, it is bigger. Great value.
Cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in! Comfortable beds, great breakfast, fantastic staff. Will stay here whenever I'm in Chicago!
my only complaint was that we had a room right next to the outdoor lighted sign outside and we could not pull the shades down far enough to block the light from the room other than that our stay was awesome, next year I wiil request a room away from the lighted sign!!
Always pleased with the stay here!
The staff and the breakfast.
The location, the staff, the cleanliness were outstanding. The room was very small but since we were there to enjoy the city it was fine. I believe we got a good value for our money. We would definitely stay there again.
Paper thin walls, but you gave us earplugs!
Great location, very comfortable bed and the breakfast was pretty good.
My bed is too foamy, I feel like I'm sinking. I'm use to my posteurpedic which is firm and less bouncy.
The rooms are always impecably clean and nice. The staff are absolutely nice and warm. Even the chambermaids are very polite. Door guys got me a cab and run around outside although it was cold and heavily snowing. Bravo Zulu. In military, it means good job.
The only negative which really is not is the parking. You have to either valet park or self park but all of Chicago is like that.
The area had a lot of shops within walking distance such as Trader Joe's. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator.
Lots of plastics and waste at breakfast.
The neighborhood was really nice. The beds super cozy.
The walls are a little thin so loud people in the next rooms can be heard quite clearly. The wifi was a little patchy in parts of the room, but worked well overall.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the continental breakfast was an added bonus. The room was a little too hot, but once I figured out the heating system it was fine. The location is great, less than 10 minutes walk to the El, and about 20 minutes into the city. Plus there are lots of places to eat and shop around the area itself.
frat boys in the breakfast buffet where rude as ****. nothing the staff can do about it, overall great time
the staff are super cordial. I wish more hotels would learn from from folks here
Due to maintanence we were upgraded to a suite.
Nothing much really but I was not sure how the air conditioner/heater would effectively work if I draw the curtain because The air con is right below the window. So I choose to keep it open
The location is very accessible by public bus.Connection is very easy from O'hare airport by CTA train to logan square then Bus 76 stop is 3-4 mtrs from the Hotel entrance. Staff were willing to help with Directions.
The parking is a problem! The hotel has a public parking lot behide, it is a dollar cheaper if you just park in it yourself. They say they have valet parking but it's in the same parking ramp we followed an employee valet parkering and he had to do the same thing we did. Drive around, up and down the parking garage for a good 30mon before finding an opening. Besides the parking the stay was good.
The down side was the bathroom. Very small and not as nice as I was expecting for the money.
There was parking around the hotel that cost $26 for 24 hours. With a $1 fee to the hotel, there is a valet parking with in and out access all day. The beds were nice and there was plenty of space in the room.
The WiFi didn't work well. Little to no connectivity.
Room was GiNormous, and comfortable. Facilities were old, but in good shape. The value overall was excellent
wifi wasn't super strong. we had connection, but it was a bit flimsy. the room was awkwardly shaped, and it was difficult to get into the bathroom at times because of it.
travel into downtown was incredibly easy by having a bus stop just moments away. staff was nice and friendly, rooms were clean. the free breakfast was also pretty good. lots of choices for a continental breakfast
Not one smoking room. had to go outside to smoke. Pretty sure we will use another hotel in the area on our next trip. cont.bfastn was a 10.
train and bus convenience.
