Nice neighborhood, felt safe, walking distance to Wrigley (1 mile)
The hotel was very nice, clean, up to date, the beds were like sleeping on a cloud, the staff was beyond helpful and helped us with everything we needed to know as far as being first time Chicago visitors. Will always be my first choice to stay and will def recommend to anyone that goes!
I loved it all !
Friendly staff, gave me tips for the day and where to get a cheap haircut... ;-) Nice area!
Close to Wrigley
I really never got a good night's sleep. Few frat boys party'ing up until the wee hours. And the main door a few doors down was louder than all heck. Every time it closed, I was woken up. Couldn't wait to get home and get a good nights sleep.
Broken Elevator Piss-Poor Reception with barely alive staff Staff more engaged with mundane administrative tasks than catering to staff. THis is one star hotel at best.
staffs were not helpful and polite however not all.......
The bed was wonderful - great down-like (I assume not real down) comforter - had a wonderful night's sleep free breakfast valet assisted with bringing luggage from car to lobby and staff member assisted with bringing luggage to my room
Location very inconvenient by car to get to front of building due to one way systems crowded narrow streets if you do not have a car probably fine- bath tiny , a step up (dangerous) tiny room, sloooooow tiny elevator, front desk clerk staff was rude when I inquired if parking/valet fees were waived for hotel guests- told me I should have read the website more thoroughly and if I didn't like it I could park my car myself but there is no free parking - all I asked was were the valet fees waived for paying hotel guests a simple "No I am sorry, guests are also required to pay the $26 a day fee" would have been a satisfactory answer elevator very antiquated and made a loud BANG a shook every time it stopped at a floor - also very small only 3 or 4 could fit per trip less if there was luggage involved
Staff is quite polite and heplful.Subway is at 10 minutes walking distance.Witin 50 m TJMAXX, Wallgreens, CVS, Starbucks etc is reachable.Everyday housekeeping and towel change (if requested).Coffee machine in the room was perfect favor. Breakfast was better than expected.
I could not deal with shower head.Maybe it was my bad...
WiFi Breakfast. 1/4 mile from L station
Room is described as 124 Sq Ft, it was just over 100, not including the unusable narrow entrance or ensuite. The bed is narrower than an English Double by at least 5 inches, making things a little cramped. There was just enough walking room around the bed. The air con unit was massive and due to its proximity to the bed, it could not be used at night. The bathroom had a tiny shelf so space for toiletries was limited. Parking @ $26 a day.
- Location to easy transportation (bus and metro), food (all types), shopping (all types) - Price- cheap for location - Free breakfast
- Small stairs, doorways, bathrooms. - Unhelpful welcome staff (Did not give us details on parking options/prices or how to navigate area and take public transportation- ended up asking a stranger on the street what bus to take and where it is located).

The staff were very friendly & helpful. Everything was clean and the rooms were excellent. Breakfast was fresh and delicious.
Very clean & tidy. Staff very helpful. Easy bus ride to downtown Chicago but there's plenty of shops & restaurants right on the doorstep so you don't need to travel far if you don't want to. For info - a taxi to/from O'Hare was appx. $40 in Sept 2014.
Our room was near the a/c plant at the back of the building, a bit noisy overnight.
The Lincoln Park area is wonderful, close enough to Downtown attractions without the extra cost. We were able to walk around even after dark with no problems. Good restaurants and many shops all within a block or two of Days Inn and the CTA metro station only 3 blocks away. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Super good! Stayed from Thursday 9/18 - Saturday 9/20. Bellmen, valet, and front desk staff were all friendly and professional. The room was small, as others have mentioned, but definitely not as small as I was expecting - 2 people and enough luggage for a 2-day trip, including shopping bags, fit just fine with room to move around. The double bed was also way more comfortable than I was expecting, and plenty roomy for 2 people who are used to sharing a queen bed. No problem at all. Had a courtyard room and was perfectly quiet. Pull-down shade and heavy drapes kept all the light out. Slept great both nights! My husband and I both said how clean the room was. Really good! Shower pressure was a little light but not that bad. Had a couple surges of hot hot water that lasted a second or two, weird, but no big deal. Our Friday night neighbors were a little too loud for our liking so I called the front desk. The guy said 'we'll send security right up' and within 2 minutes everything quieted right down. A/C was fine and just loud enough to act as a white noise machine so we didn't have to use the one I packed because I was worried about the noise. Breakfast was the usual cereals, bagels, donuts etc, and is in a pleasant clean dining area. Valet parking is $26/day with in and out privileges. Self-park is around the corner, $25/day, and no in and out. Went with valet. Thurs and Fri nights, including taxes and 2 days valet, was $341, which I really considered a bargain for Chicago. Trader Joe's and Urban Outfitters are right across the street and plenty of restaurants/bars nearby. Nice area for walking around, felt totally safe. I feel like we really lucked out finding this place and will definitely stay again when we come back to Chicago. It was really just excellent!
All of the above
Very noisy but they supply earplugs!
Location. Easy to travel to city centre. Transport options excellent .Staff courteous & very helpfull
Bed was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE
Great location, great service, great amenities for a reasonable price.
While I did get a room on the "inner" side of the hotel, there was no guarantee of it-I'd prefer knowing what I'm getting. But again, my preference was honored. Size of rooms is just barely enough to maneuver around.
Chris at the front desk was fantastic! We had a slight hiccup at checkin and he took care of us immediately, to our great satisfaction. The location was perfect, just a few minutes drive to everything that we wanted to go do and see. We will definitely stay here again!
The ice machine is noisy, but then again, it's an ice machine. Our stay was such a positive experience, we will stay here when we return to Chicago.
Excellent staff, breakfast included was appreciated. Excellent staff. Safe and well located location.
