Leaving the premisses...
Our reservation had been canceled, eventhough it was shown as perfectly active and in order on my booking account. We were lucky enough and there was one last spare room not taken at the hotel, but they offered it to us at double the original price we had reserved, eventhough we had a print of our "all good" reservation! We had previously sent them 2 emails asking for confirmation and giveing details of our expected time of arrival and airport shuttle needs. The last of it was on the same morning of our arrival. Their explanation was that "they don't read their email and the system can automatically cancel a reservation and as they have too many... they can't notice..." (????) We found ourselves with no hotel at 22pm and a flight scheduled by 08:00 of the next day... The personel on the front desk instead of helping, was trying to make us tired and persuade us to leave, by being not helpful, leaving us waiting for long periods, giving us (obviously) false and ridiculus explanations in order to avoid assuming any responsability. Finally after being persistent and haveing a hard time at them, the manager agreed to spoke with us (on the phone) and offered us a room at a discount price, which anyway was more expensive that what we had originally reserved on BOOKING (they didn't respected the price eventhough it was their failt and they had available rooms!) As it was late and we had a flight at first light next morning, we took it, with a bitter taste to say the least. But that was not all. We reserved for the complimentary shuttle at 5am. to be on time at the airport, which was the main reason of our choice for the Miami Days Inn in the first place. And again, we had to cope with organization flaws. We got to the reception by 4:50 and it was crowded. At 5am one shuttle arrived, and it was already half occupied by previous pick ups at other hotels. Obviously there wasn't enough space for all of us.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
Our room was on the first floor next to a gas station . We felt very uncomfortable. Also, the bar was open until 3am directly next to our room which was loud and made it difficult to sleep .
not enough information about the shouttle. where to take and times, I scheduled in front desk but it was not respected, always full from other hotels.
The free shuttle to the airport was convenient, and the staff at the front desk was very efficient. The bed was perfectly comfortable.
The walls to our room were very thin, so we could hear our neighbors talking. The carpeting in our room was extremely dirty (we wore flip-flops the whole time).
I had a room over the bar lounge. The music was loud, the floor was vibrating and it went on way past midnight. Defeats the whole purpose of a overnight stay between flights. Not worth the price!

The reception staff were very helpful organising an alternative hotel. We went back to use the Travellers Bar which was OK......
Booking.com did not inform us of a problem with our card until we were half way across the Atlantic on a flight...So we didn't have a room when we arrived at the hotel.
Airport shuttle service
The room was very large, comfortably furnished, excellent bed. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I did not try to use internet in the room but had read in reviews it was not available.

this place was filthy dirty and in need of a massive repair i will never stay there again and i have also informed most of our friends not to stay there

Abysmally slow service in Cafe Espresso. Bathroom needed an upgrade. Carpets in lobby worn out and in need of replacement.

Between booking.com and days inn, they managed to mess our booking up twice. The hotel was very dated, smelt mouldy, and looked very dilapidated.

The light bulb was not all working, the blinds did not cover the window fully so light from outside came in making it hard to fall asleep. The room was not cleaned properly and was stuffy. There was a constant smell of smoke. I had to check to see if i was on a smoking floor but i was not. At least the window was able to open to air out the room but once close the smells from outside came back in
Location. It was a 7 minute drive to the airport.
The hotel lobby and room has old dirty carpeting which smells. Our room was not what we requested 2x's, the carpet was wet & smelly and the tub was dirty. 100% uncomfortable and dissatisfied!
The bathroom has a one inch step up which we stubbed our toe on several times.
