The morning staff were not very friendly. In fact we had asked for a late check out and they still badgered us early.
We really enjoyed the room. The facilities were clean.
The place is dark, felt like a dump and unsafe!
Bugs in the lobby, took quite abit of effort to get a simple reservation.
Good location for a few days stay, surrounded by stores and places to eat.
* Architecture - doesn’t have any roadside curb appeal at all. Looks & feels like a junky motel * ROOM - No. 140, mid-size, very very dated 80’s style, not very clean, mattress horrible & lumpy * VIEW - nothing nice, only view is of carpark and road * FOOD - didn’t try & wouldn’t eat anything here * LOCATION - no sites to see, only a hub, close to highways & gas station, supermarkets & laundromat 5 min drive * SERVICE - unorganised & appauling service * PRICE - cheap $100 + tax, but you get what you pay for * SECURITY - not great area. Felt safe-ish. Kept car parked outside room * WIFI - Free, slow * CARPARK - Free, many spaces * ISSUE - SERVICE - I arrived to hear another guest complaining that when her, her husband & 4 year old daughter went into the room, it was occupied already by another man who was standing there naked!! How did they not know this!!! I had a problem as well.. We booked in for 2 nights and on the day we were checking out, we went to breakfast first from 8-9am and we going to go back to hotel to do some work on computer before checking out at 11am. When we returned to room at 9am, the door to my room was wide open, the mattress was removed and was laying my carpark space. Thankfully I removed all my belongings from the room beforehand!! So I went to reception to ask for an explanation and was told by the “mattress mover” that they were replacing all the mattresses in the hotel. They didn’t even ask reception if I (room 140) had checked out, but simply looked thru the window saw no luggage & went in & removed the mattress and ASSUMED i checked out! UNORGANIZED & APPALLING SERVICE.
Nothing. Only stay here if your desperate, like ourselves. The only reason we stayed here was there was a 30,000 people conference on in the area and the other nicer hotels were fully booked up or charging 3x the normal price!
Well, it is a little overpriced for the size and service received but apparently that's normal for the San Jose/Milpitas area-especially during the week. Housekeeping is really lacking. Two days in, housekeeping came around and asked to service our room which we didn't need but we did ask for a "Do Not Disturb" sign and she said she would get one but never returned. Two hours later, housekeeping came back and asked again if we needed service but no sign. Maybe miscommunication on their part. And the third night, housekeeping didn't even offer to service our room at all.
Well, I've been staying here for four days so far, and the first day, I used bookings.com for a lower rate. Had a few issues when booking but the lady at the front desk was very helpful. Upon arrival, I booked the wrong size bed and she was more than happy to fix it. Just had a great attitude towards me and my friend both times she was working!
* My smoke-free room reeked of stale smoke * I was not impressed with the room's cleanliness (or apparent lack thereof) * Wi-fi was offline one evening, and temperamental the next
* Although the motel was full, the guests were quiet and respectful * The refrigerator and microwave were clean and in working order * The motel is conveniently located behind a Walgreen's drug store * The motel seemed to be popular among construction crews (although the crews, as guests, were quiet)
Check-in staff was much more interested in personal phone calls than dealing with me. Box of empty condoms in the night stand. Not worth the money.
Close to several restaurants.
I like the view, I like how everything I needed was in walking distance. There's a Denny's, a Walgreens, it's right off the freeway of 880 and 237 which is very convenient.
Cheap furniture with bad mattress. Very old tv unit that didn't work proprly I couldn't imagine that people still use tube tv ? Breakfast pretty limited with few items only.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant...
Don't count on a decent breakfast, it is just bad coffee and a couple of cereals, supposedly open until 9am, and it was already closed at 8:45 when I was there. Not a good value for the money overall
Hotel is correct, does the job
Front desk staff was slow and didn't seem to know what was doing. He didn't review my onine reservation. Got to our room and was 2 dbls, not king. Had to come back and get another room which he took forever again!
parking was close to our room but the roadway around the building was pot holed. There was no water in the pool, it was a 100° out dide and we rode motorcycles..disapointing. Management sited the drought as a reason. However, we did swim at a huge pool at another hotel in the area. Over priced for the area.
The room was large and had a microwave and a fridge. the location was close to freeways and several eating places and a drug store. plenty of towels. very quiet.
Dirty bath.... No water in the pool did it for us... We chose this hotel for the pool after a very long drive we wanted kids to chill.... We got there and no water.. It was not mention on any web site and when we asked if they share facilities with other hotels the front desk man shrugged his shoulders and didn't offer any suggestions....
No a lot
Dirty and old. Rug had waves in it. Air didn't work well. Outside hallways sticky and dirty.
Bed was uncomfortable.
Close to restaurants and stores.
The bathroom had black mold and rust. lights were falling off walls. Not clean and maids come at 5p.m. to make up rooms which is way too late in day.
When we got there they apologized and said that they didn't have a non smoking room for us and gave us smoking room instead. It smelled horrible and there was dead insects all along sink. Bathtub was dirty. Carpets were disgusting.
Sidewalks and stairs were gross
The motel couldn't find my reservation I made through this , but they honored the price set by you guys.
It was a comfortable room & big for the $ , wasn't in it much thoe ,
Breakfast would do with more choices being offered
No room to room noise minimal if any., easy to find and enter , secure parking, well lit. Good coffee
Breakfast choices limited.
The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked it. The floor needed mopping to clean the hair from the tile floor. It would be nice to have some of the flavored creamers with the coffee.
Nice personable staff. Size of room was nice and it was great to have a refrigerator. Easy access to the freeway to get to my work.
