I had read the review and of course the negative stick out. So I embraced myself for the worse. To which none came true. #1 the price is awesome! #2 the room was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed having the kitchen, wifi was accessible with no problems and yes the bath tub was dingy but it was just wear and tear not dirty. My stay was really nice and quite comfortable. It was close to SDSU where my daughter lives and quite convenient for both of us. I have stayed at many hotels while my daughter is attending college, but this one was by far the best and I was even able to cook home cooked meals for her (another good thing about review. I brought my own cooking utensils).
I really don't have anything negative to say.
My friend and I needed a place to stay for a concert and I wasn't too familiar with the area so I picked the closest hotel to where we needed to be. I went in thinking I didn't need anything too fancy but this was like something out of a shady movie. First you drive into the parking garage where there was a bunch of storage which is fine but it seemed weird. You have to get to your room from the elevator in the parking garage which looked so old we thought we were going to get stuck. We asked for a non-smoking room but when we opened the door it smelled of old cigarette smoke. The bathroom was tiny and the tub was dirty. Everything was outdated except the TV which had tape on the base of it for some reason. We only sat on the beds for a few minutes because at this point we were looking for another hotel but the beds definitely seemed like if we had slept on them we would've gotten bed bugs.
Stafff were welcoming and nice. They were accommodating when I was asked to be moved to another room due to inconsiderate guests next door.
It was dirty, old building under construction. The room had a kitchen but not stocked with plates or utensils. So I order food to be delivered and had to eat Chinese food with my hands. I heard everything. Poor insulation. I felt like I was on a boat the whole room would shake if someone walked by or shut a door. Even if the noise came from a couple doors down. I did not sleep well and will never stay there again.
The price was very reasonable for what we needed. We were going to the football game and stayed the night and left the next day. We didn't need luxury for that so it suited us just fine. I would stay there again.
breakfast includes DIY waffel, I love it. the kitchen facilities are included in the room, which is very very good. big supermarket just 3 min drive. swimming pool is also good
the breakfast, you can DIY waffel
Remote area, breakfast was terrible and area was not clean. Bathroom and kitchen in room were dirty, lots of built up grime.
The showerr. Was dirty .
The service ...the room look so bed the first time we see it
room is big enough
breakfast is less choice
I liked that it was close to qualcomm
Rude front desk person, no breakfast avail when I went down to eat, not much space available to sit down.
Me and my buddy went to the Holiday Bowle game at Qualcomm Stadium.Hotel real close.Goid customer service from front desk guy.Beds were comfortable. Would stay there again.
Had mold in the bathroom walls
There was not much to like
1st, no coffee maker in the room and when being replaced, they brought a moldy , dirty , disgusting coffee maker. 2nd , seen Cockroachesl climbing in bed and kitchen. Complained to the desk abt. It and nothing was done. Re guested to move to other room bec. Kids are scared and didn't move us till the following day. Wanted to talked to manager but always not available. Left our phone # but no call back till we checked out the following day.Rooms needed to fumagate. and needed to do something about it. Worst placed we ever stayed.I do not recommend this place to anybody and will never stay again in this hotel.
Full kitchen, inexpensive
Mattress, no maid service ever came, shower head great if you're under 5 ft tall
Breakfast not served fresh. Croissant seemed stale. Construction made it look like a mess.
I liked that there was a kitchen in our room. And I loved the breakfast! Also loved that time for breakfast.
The shower was short, and I'm only 5'2.
My husband and I have stayed in Days Inns all over the country and have always had wonderful experiences. I'm not sure we will ever stay at another Days Inn because of the bad experience we had with this one.
The room was dirty and smelled funny. The bed linen had holes in it. The bathroom door didn't close all the way. The tub had dirt in it .
Great location, big rooms, nice tv...
It wasn't very clean... Rusty freezer racks, dirty tub & floor in bathroom...
I like this clean well furnished place . the comfort of the bed.The Room is ok. The employees are very kind peoples. I like to visit again this Motel. Very good value.
The Kitchen has not a pan, pots, dishes, any table utensils for cooking. The swimming pool has not warm water The Wi-Fi is poor.
Our room was very run down. We had an ant infestation in the kitchenette, called the front office, but no one came up to check it. The cabinet drawers and floors were filthy. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I return.
I liked that we had our own kitchen
We stayed from Friday to Sunday and house keeping never gave us fresh towels
Internet connection was good and easy to access.
Nothing was provided for kitchen use. Room was dirty. Hole punched in the bathroom door. Trash cans overflowing with garbage.
Bed was comfortable, water was hot, breakfast was okay. Kitchen in room was good, but we didn't need it -- fridge was pretty loud, though
Ants crawling all over our stuff since the room we stayed in had a serious ant problem. Shower was made for a midget and water pressure was kinda low.
The location is good being close to the FWY and considering the closeness, the room was quiet. The rooms had been remodeled since the last time we stayed about a year ago. Over all it is a comfortable room and we would stay there again.
The one drawback would be the shower where to shower nozzle is set to low for an average height person and it leaked badly when you try to switch it from massage setting to shower setting. In the shower position, water sprayed everywhere so you were stuck with the massage setting.
