The property was reasonably quiet and staff were friendly. The room itself appeared clean.

For the price, the room lacked a fridge and coffee making facilities. Airconditioning unit stank like a urinal and had to be left off.

The bed was comfortable.

Someone was smoking pot in a nearby room. I informed the front desk and they did nothing. I smelled pot all night.

That booking.com advertised a pool but the pool doesn't open until May 23. It was the deciding reason I chose this hotel so was very disappointed to discover this when we checked in

Clean, friendly staff.

The breakfast......very lame! You would get more return customers if you expanded the menu to hot foods. If you don't then fine then drop the room price.

Good location, very quiet and has a nice view of the lake. Big parking lot, close shopping destinations.

The bed of the double room, were small and the toiletries products were provided in very small quantities. There was no microwave in our room. The breakfast hours are too early...it should at least last until 10am...

I took my kids away for the night to what I thought was a hotel with an indoor pool. They were very excited about going in the pool. We get there to find out that the pool was closed. We were very disappointed. Why would you advertise an indoor pool when you do not have I open most of the year. That was the main reason for us going to that hotel. Breakfast was also horrible. The cheapest and most disgusting foods. We will not be staying at to hotel again.

Location and friendly staff.

Although the room we had was a Non-Smoking room, the whole room smelled like it used to be a smoking room, and they've sprayed air freshner in to to cover it up. Also, the mattress sag in the middle, had a terrible night of sleep between rolling to the middle and smelling smoke. Read on line that other people have had the same experience, they really need to work on upgrading the beds, and get rid of the smell of smoke!

Close to West Point-went to football game. Loved diner in front of hotel-Johnny D's-we could walk down the hill to eat

Pool wasn't open although I thought the booking I chose implied otherwise stating there was an indoor pool. I chose the hotel expressly because of price, location and pool availability for my children.

It's clean, comfortable, has a very convenient location and is a great bargain.

I don't really have any complaints. Given the price, I didn't expect a large room, but it was certainly adequate.

The location was perfect for our visit to West Point. The next time I will book earlier & ask for a room with the view of the river because it was beautiful !

The pool was closed & after a long day we were looking forward to taking a relaxing swim.

Staff was very helpful, pleasant. Nice view of the Hudson. easy on, easy off of highway.

My original reservation request was for a non-smoking room. When I called to check on the reservation, it was booked as smoking. Because the hotel was full, the staff said they would do "extra cleaning". I'm not sure if it was done. The room did smell very citrusy, like extra spray. That was okay, but as time went on the citrus smell dissipated and it was s till a smoking. Because of this problem, they did not charge us for the extra cot we asked for which was good. However, I have allergies and the smoking room was not suitable.

Central and easy to locate. Close to Woodbury Common Outlet

Convient to West Point and the City. Enjoyed and will vist again.

Not as many amenities as the larger hotel, but good value for what we got.

Natasha was very cheerful and helpful. Allison did her best to help. She printed our boarding passes and attended to all other requests. Richard – is that his name? – was very knowledgeable. He knew how to open our door, which had a defective latch. We were in an oversized room with two double beds – very nice. The bathroom and lavatory seemed to be brand new, and the room was spic and span. In our ten-day trip (for our daughter's wedding and for touring the Finger Lakes area, my wife considered your hotel to be the best of all.

everything,there was a terrible smell in the rooms,very poor place to hasve breakfast it was a room with a few tables.

We were just looking for a place to stay overnight while we finished shopping at Woodbury so we didn't use any of the amenities offered by the hotel so can't comment on that. PROS - Room was large. Lots of space - Bed was very comfortable and clean - Location was good. It faces the lake and it is close to local restaurants and Walmart -Showerhead pressure was good

Cons - I understand it is both Presidents Day and Canada's Day so the prices are probably jacked up higher than normal but we paid about $130 which is too high for an Inn in my opinion -The overall decor is dated (carpet, TV, room itself but its good for someone just looking for somewhere to sleep) - Washrooms overall are clean but maybe because of lighting, I saw very tiny pieces of hair or maybe its dust all over the sink counter area. Again, I am just picky. It didn't bother the other people I was with

Good hotel and clean room for a good stay . Many hotels can learn from this one

Although an older motel, it was very clean and great overall stay. The staff was particularly pleasant. Down the street (can walk) to a diner and a decent restaurant. Around the corner is a grocery store ( (Wal-Mart) and a Sonic. Just a short commute to Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz NY. Great stay in all respects. Free use of internet computer in lobby, and free wifi throughout.

Not too much nearby - had to drive to do anything more than eating.

It was next to everything we needed. Staff was pleasant room was clean and the beds were comfy.

the tv cable was the lamest we have ever seen and the motel needs to up grade the cable, we will be looking for another motel in newburgh in july.
