Clean, comfortable, receptionist pleasant, pool clean
Very poor breakfast, seemed not to have catered for the amount of guests staying there.
Comfortable, clean rooms (just specify if stairs are an issue when booking)
Distance to Yosemite Nat'l Park (24km). Breakfast perfect Parking free
Woman on The reception Room's cleaning
Good hotel, friendly staff, pool, handy location. Recommend
Dirty brown water. Dusty vents and air conditioner/air. Location of bathroom sink, right next to door.
close to Yosemite Park, for one night reasonable, would not recommend for longer stay
staff not too helpful, poor breakfast, location by a noisy road
Very nice lady checked us in.
Really lousy breakfast.
breakfast was a kind of a bad joke..,better not to offer any. Seems that there is not any respect to the guest.
Rooms on level 4 are quieter and the hotel is just next to Dennys.
Old and noisy aircon.
very close to yosemite's entrance good option if one doesn't want to spend to much time in the hotel
breakfast room is unconfortable
Wonderful customer service. Great manager!
Not a great bathroom. Modest.
Staff and location was great for what we needed. However no elevator was a huge problem as we both have bad backs, and had much luggage as we were doing both Yosemite and attending a formal wedding in Oakhurst.
No elevator, and their breakfast area was so crowded due to the size of the hotel and the number of people which can stay at the hotel that we had to have our breakfast on the lobby couch! Also, nice pool but no lounges or an area big enough to even sunbathe or just enjoy it.
location wifi parking breakfast
poor wifi the price of the hotel quality
I was here a year ago, I found the motel worse in every respect, even the bad breakfast !!
This is literally the last hotel before driving a long way into Yosemite. It's also the first when you come back into city life again.
Many hotel chains, particularly the cheaper ones, have equipped the thermostats on their cooling units (thru wall mounted) with very fussy on/off cycling thermotimers, so that even if you set it for 50 deg. F., it won't let it run continuously or even much near the selected temp. The idea is partially to get energy star ratings for the chain with equipment that is otherwise old school. We dared to try to adjust the temperature, and in so doing on our first night, we smelled the distinct burning of an electrical fire...and before we turned it off, some arcing/sparks inside the unit!! We told the front desk about it, and they claimed they'd "send someone right up to look at it", but no one came-for the whole of 2 more nights we had there. Worse is that that unit probably smoked on heat setting b/c the internal filters were full of dust. We all continued to cough with the a/c setting for our nights there, and we really should have requested a new room, but being that this was/is a safety issue, it would be better if we could have moved to a different hotel (kinda of locked in b/c everything's sold out, and not likely to get reimbursed). I won't be surprised if there's a major California fire starting out in one of their rooms from conditions of neglect as I am describing. It's too bad, as the front desk was fairly helpful on small time issues.
Room was clean, air conditioning not too noisy, bathroom had been refurbished
Room very noisy - you can hear all the conversations from every surrounding room and road noise also very high.
Pool for the grandson was great. Waffles were very good.
NO elevator we had to schlep our things up stairs after a long drive. If I would had known I would have stayed in another hotel. The hotel was not full at all and we we're put in a room behind a big wall and no view. In room 206 the panel that covers the buttons for the air conditioner falls off. I had trouble with the blow dryer tried everything had to go downstairs and ask for help the lady asked if I could wait until 9 am and I was going to Yosemite to be early. There was no maintenance person.
too expensive. Staff were rude and the breakfast too bad
The facilities and staff were good.
No staff on the desk on some mornings and inability to print out from their computers meant my opinion was good rather than excellent.
Near some good resteraunts.
Could have been cleaner.
Great spot for Yosemite, particularly Mariposa Grove. Pleasant pool.
Fairly basic - details missing from other Days Inn hotels (eg room safe, more basic breakfast) while costing more
Staff was friendly and helpful
Needs updating. Would like to see more breakfast choices including more fruit
The pool. Definity the pool. The room was great!
The breakfast. It was kinda bland, I like more options to choose.
Good location to go to Yosemite N.P. (30 minutes to Mariposa Grove and 1,15 h. to the Valley) In front of the motel there is a Yosemite information center. Clean place and rooms.
Breakfast room too small, we had to wait to have a seat the three days we stayed.
