good location, thats all I can say good about it. This place needs a total renovation.
this place is a disgrace. I am sending pictures to the corporate office of our room, and the smoke detector battery beeped all night long we told them the next morning and when we came back that night it was still beeping, desk person couldn't fix it, we pulled it out of the ceiling so we couldl sleep.
Perfect location between old Saybrook and Westbrook for all my planned activities.
No elevator! My suitcase was quite heavy to carry to an upstairs room.
At the price under $100.00 this is a good place for a business traveler to stay. When the price soars higher as it is no doing, it makes more sense to stay at a luxury inn.
The flat screen tv.
Breakfast was very disappointing. The coffee had powdered creamer only. The food (eggs, home fries, waffles) was cold. They ran out of plastic ware to eat with.
location convenience value
The staff was very nice! Good TV selection. The room was clean. I would stay here again.
The smoke smell in the bathroom required us to keep the bathroom fan on. The staff did offer to move us, we chose not to. Also, the exterior needs updating, there is a musty smell in the corridors, and there was no towel rack at the sink.
Convenient location to 95 and CT shoreline. Room was clean and staff was pleasant.
Rooms could be updated. A little paint would help.
This property is well-located and was clean. It is, however, very worn and shabby. There were good local restaurants nearby. It looks as if it's about to transition to the "weekly rental" market.
Old worn carpet and furnishings. Cheap fixtures.
The owner is nice and really polite. A real gentleman.
I never saw a hotel bathroom that bad. We put sandals to get in the bath. Not clean at all. Poor breakfast.
Location was excellent for our visit to our grandson's college. The Inn was close to restaurants and shopping.
The rooms could use some updating.
If you expect a nice and cool hotel isn't that. But it values what you pay. For 50 dollars per night you can't pretend too much. A clean room. Big, an lcd TV and a private bathroom. It's a 2 stars hotel so remember this. Man at reception likeable and nice.
heater took a while to warm room
Clean, quiet, large rooms. Big flatscreen TV. Comfortable bed. CLEAN. Attentive and friendly staff striving to get good ratings. Great value.
Nice country like location. Super quiet at night. Went out the door in morning and was met by the songs of birds. Room was excellent in size. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to a lot of amenities.
Morning breakfast was ok, but could have been a little better. Did not like the selection of cereal.
Location, friendly staff, very comfortable bed, clean room. Will go back!
I feel like at home, the room is tidy, big space, there are two queenbeds in it, and every morning breakfast is ready, so wonderful.
Nice fellow who worked the front desk, a talker! Good value for the price. Met our needs.
Pretty old "looking" hotel. Room was clean but spartan. Decor could be best described as boring but functional. Bathroom was surprisingly nice.
Room was clean and the sheets were clean. Water was good and hot.
The room was freezing when I first went in, there was no heat on. It did warm up after turning on the heat but took a long time due to how cold the room was.
very friendly and helpful staff.
Staff: very pleasant
Cleanliness: tub/shower and carpeting needed better cleaning. Bathroom: even using the exhaust fan, steam build-up condensed on walls, towels, and clothes; walls and doorway needed painting. Noise: even with the TV on, we could hear everyone above or next to us walking and talking; people were not especially loud, but the walls and ceiling are paper-thin.
I thought the staff was very friendly and accomodating. We were late for breakfast, but were still invited to eat. The room was comfortable.
On our first breakfast, we choose the eggs. But, they were a little green, in some areas.! Otherwise the food was good.
All you could expect from its star rating.
The cooked breakfast could have been fresher.
