This place needs some upkeeping I may be wrong but I thought in the industry when you make reservations you usually get the 1st floor not sure also the shuttle bus only comes once a day bad idea after universal opens and 1 to 2 hours after closing, we asked the clerk at the desk how to get to universal studios walking they didnt know employees knew nothing about the surrounding areas will never stay here again , this should be in the bottom section sorry

You should have coffee maker in the room. When I checked-in room, the front desk staff said it comes with breakfast. When I was about to have my breakfast, the lady in the dining area loudly said that my room is not in her list to have free breakfast. I was so a shame. And there is additional charges only mention when i was about to check out. The paper clearly stated if using safe box and not mentioned parking charges but they still charge me. It is big for me due to my currency is week compare dollar.

The website says there is high speed internet, but never says that internet is not available in rooms. The website says there is free transportation to Disney, but never says the shuttle only runs 2 hours before parks open and then 4 hours later.

This hostel is really awful. The room environment was so bad. There were so many small cockroaches and insects in the room. The sink leaked that made the floor wet. There was no ventilation system in the bathroom. There is one food store near hostel. They sell cup noodles but no hot water provided. When we asked at the front desk, they said we can ask in the restaurant near the food store. But, the restaurant just gave us cold water even we asked for hot water. How can we microwave it without a microwave container? The internet network there was so unstable. And, the time is limited. The lobby closed at 12am ,sometimes even before 12a.M.! It is not opened yet at 7a.M. That was so inconvenient. The key card for entering the room was not working well. We always could not use the card to get into the room. Even after we told the counter and the reception changed the card for us, they still were not work.

The hotel rooms was old but it was clean.I think with a little investment it would be very nice.personally you couldn't get a better place for the price. The location was perfect for universal studios, you could walk there within 15 minutes.I also liked the idea of the shuttle bus that would take you to walt disney world theme parks and sea world free of charge. This hotel was very close to the shopping centers and if didn't want to drive you could take the I-drive trolley for very cheap. This hotel was great for the price you paid and the convience for getting around especially if you didn't want to drive. If you want luxury this is not the hotel for you but if you want clean and convience then I recommend it for sure. It would be nice if there was a microwave.

The only thing we liked was that Days Inn Orlando was close to Universal Studios, though not as close as their online info suggests. At first glance the rooms looked OK. Budget priced so didn't expect too much. After we unpacked,we found the toilet in 1 of the 2 rooms was stopped up. No one came to work on it until 6 hours later. He left a total mess, BM splashes (not ours!) with nothing to clean it up. Corners of rooms were also nasty, the tub looked like black mold around the rim had been poorly painted over and there were little bugs and spiders in the sink and toilet area. We reported concerns, but nothing was done. Thin, rough towels and wash cloths completed the picture. We were not allowed to serve ourselves "breakfast" that was included. It was doled out by an attendant and was cereal with milk OR a boiled egg with white bread, and coffee OR juice. I have stayed many places that offer included breakfasts. It was the poorest of any where I have stayed.

It takes only about 20 minutes walk to Universal Studio No internet in the room. The bus to Universal Studio is useless because it is scheduled after 10 am, and has only one trip. Don't rely on its bus, simply walk to Universal Studio

It was cheap, and had a location convenient to Universal Studios Orlando. It had a small refridgerator in the room. The beds were hard as a rock - horrible mattresses, one of which was also very saggy. The bedspreads had holes (cigarette burns?) in them. We saw a cockroach run across the room, and it was in general quite shabby and even a little scarey. The lobby was run down, as was the room. Towels were thin and old. I also believe I was overcharged, as I changed the date of my stay and was quoted a lower price, but did not recieve a refund.

Since we paid a very reasonable price, I didn't expect too much beyond clean and comfortable. This hotel met my expectations, and I had a very pleasant stay. I was away from the room all day, and slept very soundly when I returned to the room.

“The location was great, right in the middle of i-drive. Very close to great shopping, attractions and food. Also easy to move around without a car and geared toward tourists. The room and bed was comfortable, great pillows. I would stay again. ” Judy, Kingston |
