no pool because it was being remodeled, wifi but such weak siginal I couldnt connect, horribly hard bed
Location to universal
That they advertised a pool with a bar, that they failed to mention the entire hotel is under construction & they gave NO pool
room clean comfortable quiet
roaches but not too bad
Staff was very nice
We had roaches in our room
Proximity to Universal Studios and that is all.
The Hotel is in total disarray. Under renovation. All existing rooms are being used for guests. These rooms are poor to say the least. The paint was peeling off the wall. The bathtub surrounds were hand painted and peeling. I have never been in a hotel where there was no cold water. Seriously it was only hot water and no maintenance staff to fix it, nor was anyone willing to change us to another room. Disaster of a stay. I love Booking.com, but this property needs to be taken off their listings.
Bugs, coackroaches , ants.
Would never stay there again!
It was close to where my event was.
The floor was dirty but they also was getting there make over.
The staff...from front desk to maids were really great.
I paid very little to stay there. So I got what I paid for.
The best feature of the hotel is that the hotel is so close to Universal Studios Resort. Staffs are very kind, nice and helpful. It is ideal for a night standing.
WIFI was not working on the room.
The staff is friendly and courteous. Very good location 1 minute away from universal studios which is where we were going.
I have to say I'm a pretty simple person we were just looking for somewhere to stay because, we would be at the parks all day. The place is terrible I have no idea why they are even open under all that construction. The room was ok there we're roaches and our keys never worked. It was so bad I checked out early because I refuse to stay one more night.
Room was very clean with new mattresses.
Hotel was under construction, which I knew, but did not know the WHOLE hotel was. Rooms in the back of the hotel were poorly lit with construction material everywhere. Not very friendly arriving in the dark with kids. Also no hot water was available.
last night hot water was broken, could not shower
Proximity to parks and and shopping.
Everything was old, dirty, and in disrepair. On a 3 night stay we lost air conditioning, which they repaired, and we lost hot water on our last night. The beds are terrible and left us with sore hips and backs the next morning. Spend a little more and be comfortable.
The beds were quite comfortable and the rooms were very clean.
No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Couldn't get it to work in the lobby on our laptop. The shuttle to Universal never showed up, so we wound up driving and paying for parking.
Location was very close to Universal Studios
Under renovation, things left half complete. Breakfast was chaotic and unorganized. Smelled of "special" cigarettes in the morning when we left.
it was real close to universal studios where we were going
Walking to the Universal Studios took us 15 minutes in a slow pace. The employers were really friendly and the lady told us what was happening at the Studios those days. They were nice and well informed, really helpful. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance too.
I had problems with the wifi after using it longer than 10 minutes. The bathrooms were ok for a couple days, but I would bring flip flops to wear to shower. Beds were ok.
it's really close to Universal which is great.
They're remodeling so we had roaches in our room. The staff at check in was not friendly or helpful but the staff at check out was nice.
Close to Universal
Hotel was under construction and conversion to a Clarion. Surrounded by dumpsters and chain link fences due to construction. Rooms in construction areas left open and ajar, less than 20 feet from my room. Rooms were in poor shape, esp the bathrooms. Wifi didn't work. Breakfast was cereal and voice of Orange or banana. This hotel is a joke. Spend a few more $ and go somewhere else.
Very good location, near Universal park. Everything you need after a day in park.
WiFi only in registration
good location, period.
found A LOT of bed bugs. they didn't even refunded me.
Nothing. Hopefully I get my money back.
I thought this hotel would have been a good place for me and my girlfriend based on the reviews etcetera. I didn't expect much, just a basic hotel to sleep at since it was close to Universal Studios and we would be spending most of our time in the park or surrounding area. However, the room we received was well below par. The guy at the front desk when we first walked in, was sitting on the counter, and too busy watching a movie or something on his iPad to even greet us let alone check us in. After staring at him awkwardly for a couple of minutes he finally asked us if we needed help. Only wifi in the lobby, the pool and so called tiki hut were completely demolished and no where on the site does it say anything about renovations. Regardless I understand hotels have to sometimes revamp their properties so I overlooked that and just wanted to lay down. Feral cats running around the property as many as twenty in a group. The room was terrible. Only the desk was new and a semi new fresh coat of paint. The bathroom was so bad I didn't wanna step foot in it. The bathroom door was rotted about 5 inches above the floor. The floor and tile looked as if it hadn't been cleaned or sweapt in years. Bathtub was cracking and stained badly. They told me at first I couldn't get a refund but after constant complaining they finally closed my reservation and hopefully I get my money back. So in conclusion as my girlfriend said if you don't want to catch a disease, don't stay here. Only wish I could upload pics to show everyone.
Hotel under construction, room smelt smoky so I had to change rooms, tile floor.
