The location was convient to several places.
It was under renovation while I was there.
renovations taking place, not disclosed when booking. pool full of builders materials, drilling all day etc.
insects in room , construction all around
I liked the location, it is walking distance from Universal Studios, if you don't mind a 15 minute walk and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. I liked that it was affordable but i guess you get what you paid for. All and all, and alright place to stay for short stays.
there was not a lot of parking, we had to park in a "15 minutes only" spot and although our car didn't get towed, we were still a bit apprehensive the whole time. The laundry was closed due to renovations, that would have been nice to know prior to booking. the Wifi didn't always work, and the TV was really out dated.
location is good. staff was friendly.
construction going on which makes it lot of noisey. Hotel is shabby specially at the back side
Hotel (Winter/Spring 2015) is under major construction which is very disruptive. The place is in need of this construction because it is very dated. I would definitely check with the hotel on the progress of construction before booking...
It has a good location
It was dirty and there where cockroaches in our bedroom
people very nice. price great.
under construction. room old and floor dirty. served my two purpose to go to HOLY LAND.
Everything! The website didn't say they were under construction. It's actually stated that you could enjoy the pool and tiki area. That was false it was completely under construction. The rooms were nasty. Stains on the walls and doors, the bathroom door would close and was falling apart. We had ants in the room. We didn't even sleep in the bed it felt so nasty. If it wasn't for me to rest my eyes for a few hours and it being booked everywhere do to the holidays I would have left. Outside the room there was trash everywhere, Dirty clothes and the concrete was broken with wood laying over it.
The place is cheap, but not like good deal cheap. Its cheap because its a wreck.
The Place was a complete dump. The upkeep on the grounds was abysmal and half of the complex was fenced off and empty. The first room they gave me was smoking despite my booking otherwise and not cleaned. I was far from the only dissatisfied guest as I waited in line to lodge my complaint. I overheard the family in front of me complain of mold on the walls and ceiling in the room they were given! Oh and their wifi area might cover half the lobby...just cuz the questionnaire asked.
The location is excellent for a visit to Universal Studio and/or the Hard Rock Cafe
The hotel will close as a Day's Inn and open as a Comfort Hotel (in the Choice brand). It will cease being a budget hotel and will become a much more expensive hotel. Half of the rooms are closed and under construction. The swimming pool is being busted up, in order to install a nicer, larger pool. It will be great when the work is completed, but it is truly a mess now.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel needs a lot of work to become comfortable. The staff tried there best. We could not have stayed there.
It needs a total make over to update and get it clean. It really should not be open until it's completely finished
There was nothing to like about this property. Construction everywhere, no pool, charge for continental breakfast. We checked out after 2 days.
Nothing to like. We have photos and would like part of our stay refunded.
They gave me shampoo and conditioner for my hair It was a good price and close to the things we came to see.
they forgot to put time on our last night and we had to go to the office
I know the place is being completele remodeled, I just can't understand somebody will rent a room that had no maintenance in 10 years.
The entire room look bad, stained walls and ceiling, old furniture, TV, hanging cables, etc.
I don't like anything.
They have to fix there wifi service and security. I lost my money at there. Wifi also doesn't work.
Organization and environment. Seems like a drug dealing location
The only redeemable quality is the lication
Dirty, wifi not working, beds sheeted with plastic and uncomfortable. We left after the first night and moved to another hotel even though we paid for two nights.
The workers were all friendly, but we were a group of 4 and asked 2 times for extra towels but each time we only ended up with 3. Which meant one of the four of us had to dry off with a small wash rag. They check in and out was great and they even gave us extra shampoo and conditioner because we were 4 girls in one room. Overall it was a nice stay. Just a few minor things made our trip a little less enjoyable.
On the website it mentioned in the very fine print at the bottom of the page that there would be some very light construction work. We were all surprised to be awaken at 8:30 am by sounds of men yelling right outside our door and their radio blasting some morning talk show. When we all came to our senses about what was going on right outside our door, that's when the drill and hammering started.
I feel like I stayed in a ghost house.
The staff was amazing! Top notch customer service!
Near to the attractions
The room is a bit too old
It was just across the street from universal.
The hotel was undergoing construction and it was very uncomfortable to stay there. We heard noise all day long and the room looked like it hadn't had a good cleaning in years. There were stains on the walls and an odor. Definitely not worth 100 a night!
It was 5 minutes to universal studios.
Everything, we paid for the second night but didn't stay because I couldn't bare to be in the room a second night. It's the kinda place that makes you itchy even if there isn't a viable reason to feel that way.
Hotel are on construction and there was no assessment to common facilities. To get to the offices had to walk around the Hotel. It has low lighting and felt fear for safety.
