Score from 60 reviews Good
the room was very nice, spacious, and quiet
breakfast - the boiled eggs were, well, not good
Shampoo from last guest still in shower; iron leaked water everywhere; ironing board cover too old and thin; had to climb under table to plug my computer in; no tissues in the bathroom; roll of toilet paper 90% gone when I arrived; loud horn-blasting from patrons of restaurant; huge rolls of construction equipment in front of my door. Parking lot all icy.
Nice sized room!
Second floor - no elevataor.
Train that ran behind the property all night. Room did not have a pleasant smell and when I arrived you can tell they were airing it out as the door was open.
room very clean lots of towels extra coffee and a first teabags
room needed new carpet BAD worn holes
nothing to complain about.
Staff very nice and helpful.
Breakfast was horrible, cold coffee, no place to eat and no food, had to go out and eat.
Large room. Great Indian restaurant attached.
A bit isolated. Busy, noisy road.
bed was comfortable
the very unpleasant odor that never left like a wet dog, filthy carpet, bug in webs in corners of room, stained washed clothes and pillowcases. Was told no other rooms available and when we called that night to see why there was no hot water we were told management would be in tomorrow. Unfortunately, there were no available rooms elsewhere or we would have left asap..
Ratings above pretty well tell my positives. Plus, friendly staff who suggested a great place for supper.
Not in your control, but the TV setup had no Connecticut stations for local news and weather. Nor was there a station with early morning local news and weather out of New York City. Again, that is not the fault of Days Inn.
Very convenient Very pleasant, helpful manager Allows pets
"Breakfast" was minimal, and inconvenient hours No hot water (until staff fixed it) WiFi didn't work (until rebooted) Charged too much for pets
Good value for the region.
Train noisy, breakfast ended too early, no one at office around 10 am
Close to where I needed to be.
Very run down...had a sketchy feel....felt not that safe....very Unfriendly man at the front desk....He looked shaddy.
Helpful staff, very friendly
Not all lights worked in the room, particularly the bath
Clean facility, quiet surroundings, much better value than White Plains and still within 30 minutes. No complaints.
The air conditioner was filthy. I had to remove the filter, clean it, and remove dust and dirt from the grill.
Every one who worked there were great very helpful a great Indian restaurant.
Front Desk was very abrupt
People were very friendly.
They were renovating and the noise started at 7:00 am. It was not good. The hotel did badly need renovation. (Our room had huge sections of torn carpet.) The "breakfast" consists of bagels and juice. There is little to recommend this hotel other than the price.
I liked two of the individuals at the check-in counter. Mini (?), an Indian woman, was very pleasant and helpful with directions to one of my destinations. I enjoyed our conversation about Indian history. Frank Erwin is a gem, very personable. A Massachusetts native like myself, he shared interesting stories about Boston and our native state. He was particularly helpful in offering his personal computer to me for use each day of my stay. He responded immediately to my concerns about a refrigerator and helped me move all my luggage to a different unit. I would recommend both of these individuals to their next employer in the event they should leave the Days Inn Ridgefield.
I was disappointed that the business center was not up and running, but fortunately Frank Erwin came to the rescue and allowed me to use his PC.
The nice décor and the very friendly staff.
No complaints...it was much nicer than I expected a Days Inn to be.
Big spacious room, clean, updated, and easy to get to.
It was a very good value and would recommend it to friends.
