The location is great!
This particular trip was horrible.... The staff was unfriendly and almost rude at the time of check in. I have always paid with my card and never had to leave a cash deposit when checking in, until now. I was told I couldnt check in, with my disabled nephew who was having surgery at pmc the next day without leaving a deposit so I left my last $50 in cash, leaving my to not be able to join my family, that lives in Salt lake, for dinner that night. There was also blood on the bathroom doorknob and toilet paper roll and when it was mentioned, they said, we will make sure it is cleaned before the next guests!!! Really?
The staff very friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping staff very efficient. They always granted our requests.
The building is old and in need of repairs. No ice machine on the second floor. Towels very poor quality and quantity of towels in room not enough. The carpet in our room was extremely dirty.
The girl that checked us in was nice and appeared knowledgeable. I bring my own bedding and toiletries and then clean any motel that I stay at, that is the only reason we stayed.
Sack of empty beer cans hanging on a hanger in the closet. Toothpaste (hopefully) smooshed into the carpet in front of the sink. Cigarette burns in bathroom linoleum. Terrible TV channel selection. CREAPY people stay here and hang out and smoke at the entrances/exits. You would think this is some sort of half-way house meets slum.
litter in parking lot and by side doors
manager was very nice to help clean the tub that the workers and messed up
parking was tough for a long bed pickup
When checking in the young man was very kind to put us on the ground floor. He went the extra mile to make sure everything was in our room for us. The room though older was well kept. Each day everything was refreshed.
Breakfast was OK but there were only sweet type items available. There were no egg or meat type dishes. Guess at other locations we have been spoiled with full breakfasts.
closer to location and highway to get on road
people hang out around in day and evening. kind of poor people.
booking was easy
the bed seemed clean. Pillows were old. Carpet was very dirty. Globs of black hair on the wall behind and to the right side of the toilet. Table and end of dresser had something very un appealing splattered on them. screen was off window & lying on ground outside. doors had dirty hand prints on them. etc.
Nothing! Horrible hotel!
the price-very clean-
need more towels for 4 people
We got this hotel for a two night stay to visit SLC. The room was not very clean or updated. The tv remote did not work, walls were dirty and you could see where pictures used to be from the dirt outlines, the shower curtain was almost falling out of the wall, carpets were not cleaned as there was finger nail clippings in the middle of the floor. On the second day the room key did not work and when I went to get it reprogrammed, the staff member hassled me about getting it reprogrammed. I would not go back and would not recommend to anyone
The location is great and the Manager is excellent.
The price is right for the cleanliness of the bathrooms.. meaning each time I have stayed, a total of 3 I believe, I have bought clorox wipes and cleaned the bathrooms due to the way they were cleaned upon checking in. Also, not being able to sleep well this last time due to very noisey neighbors and hall.,
Some of the staff were nice and helpful but it wasn't consistent.
It is not in that secure of an area and they leave the side door open all night. We were not comfortable with that as we had small children with us. The first room they gave us was smelly and dirty. The next room had newer carpet, smelled fine and had been newly painted. No consistency in the service and quality of the rooms. The beds were hard. Would not stay there again.
We liked the location near the freeway and amenities nearby. The price was reasonable compared to our other options. The breakfast was fairly good.
There were ants in room 210, and the staff was not helpful with this problem. Various walls in the three rooms we reserved had organic material stains that made the room feel dirty. We had four people in our room and were only given two towels. They were extra small and very worn out. Overall, it just seems that this property needs some minor maintenance and focused attention to detail; changing light bulbs, more detailed cleanings, and some focused attention on things like ant problems, the hallway air conditioner on the second floor was broken and the door coming into the hotel from the parking lot was not locked, raising some safety concerns as I was staying alone in my room with my two daughters and niece.
Staff was friendly
Breakfast was poor all sweets and they closed the breakfast at not even 9am The location was hard to find
The internet was a little slow and kept cutting out. There was no iron or ironing board in the room
We arrived at 3:30am, and were greeted with a welcome and warm smile. Comparatively, the cheapest hotel in the area. For the price, it was very clean and cheap. I'll stay here again.
Continental breakfast could have been better, but with the money I saved, we ate at a restaurant and still had money left over. :-)
The maintenance man was kind and friendly. Location was in a good place for my needs. Price was reasonable.
The fridge was broken, the ha it dryer was broken, the place smelled musty and smoky, bathroom was dirty, locks didn't work on enterance of hotels. Beds were hard and uncomfortable, front end staff was very unfriendly. I wasn't expecting something amazing for this price. I just felt like it needs a lot of work cleanliness, friendliness, and maintenance. The hotel is in dire need of upgrading especially safety is concerned. I didn't feel safe there knowing all doors had broken latches.
Not clean Maintenance man lurking in the corridors playing with his phone In BAD need of a remodel before I would consider staying there again!
pool wifi location
fan didn't work in bathroom only one bulb worked on over the sink light
Did not like the added charges for innkeeper fee and energy surcharge and sales tax on energy. These should be in the room charge quoted up front.
Location was decent, easy access to freeway. Pool was decent.
Awful beds. Carpet both in the room and hallways was stained. Horrible breakfast. Hotel is in a run down neighborhood. Found ants crawling all over in the room. Tv was old and very few channels.
Room was spacious, microwave and fridge in the room. Jacuzzi was a nice place to relax.
Couch was not made for tall people and I sunk to far into it. Bed was too firm, but otherwise nice.
No ESPN, WiFi connection doesn't work in room.
Could have been a little cleaner. Desk clerk was great
