Our room was nice. Right near the exit so we could come and go quickly.
The staff were not that friendly. The toilet handle and lid were broken. What sounded like a wrestling match broke out in the room above us at midnight and the management did nothing about it, even after multiple calls. They do not allow pets so our dog had to stay elsewhere.
Excellent for it's value, clean.
Needs more on breakfast even just for an oatmeal.
We were attending a swim competition at Palo Alto college..... So the location was perfect-- Directly across the street!
Older facilities..... Room didn't really look like it had been cleaned or vacuumed well. I should have known what I was going to get for the money :-(. I also didn't like the fact that they took a photocopy of my drivers license (?) and couldn't give me a real good reason why.
The staff was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast had fresh fruit and good waffles. The room was mostly clean. The bathroom was nice with decent shampoo and a coffee maker. There was fairly good security to get into the side doors.
The sheets were old and worn and a few long hairs on the beds. There was a lot of dust behind the night stand. The area of town was rough and gangsta with only few places to go to eat that didn't seem somewhat dangerous. The room seemed a bit overpriced for the location.
Great staff, great location for flea markets.
But room not clean. Still trash from the people before. Hair on sheets so they might not have been changed.
We stayed two nights, was gunna leave after the first night cause there was no hot water, told staff all they said was i called manager he said every room has hot water. Not. The staff told us we had to run the sink water first when it gets hot turn on the bath water it will get hot, so we stayed the second night. Did what they said to do , still no hot water in bath tub. They did nothing about it. We had to pay for two full nights. We will never stay at a Days Inn ever again. It was a nightmare. Plus the breakfast was really bad, one lady pulled out 4 pieces of bread and it had mold all over them
Our stay was comfortable do to service and helpfulness of staff
The staff responded promptly to the faulty or missing accessories in the room.
Breakfast could stand a little more variety since it can repetitive over a several day stay.
Cheap rate but you don't get what you pay for.
Our iron didn't work, the hairdryer was missing. We attempted to contact the front desk by phone several times and it was busy. My husband went down to ask for hairdryer and was told one would be sent right up, never received it. Room smelled musty and the toilet bowl had stains in it.
The price that I got online was great, friendly staff and a clean place to stay.
What I didn't like was that I could hear the people upstairs , next door and on the hall.
The location was easy enough for me to find. The room was reasonably clean. It was not too loud.
I went down for a waffle. When I searched the web for motels this site asked if I wanted breakfast. I clicked yes. I was hoping for eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. What they had was the Texas shaped waffle. Not too bad. Just wishing. The guy at the desk got on to me because I grabbed some milk out of the refrigerator. I understand that the closet was not a public place. If there was milk out so I could get to it I wouldn't have had a problem.
Convenient location on the South side of San Antonio
Didn't need to spend much idle time at facility. Always had something to do.
At check in when we as we were going to our room it smelled of weed.
Although in the south side of SA it's access to 410 and 37 gets you into town fairly easily.
Thin walls and towels.
Safe and quite place for a sólo traveler
