A wee bit far from the buzz but good all the same.
Perfect location , clean and good enough rooms. You have what you need including microwave, mini fridge, iron, all those good staff. Continental breakfast was not an option for me cause I hate it but at least you have basic things early in the morning.
Parking cost, this is what I did not like. They have a enough place to leave the cars however you have to pay.
I loved the location and the balcony.
Room smelled like cigarettes.
Walking distance to Little Italy and Gaslight Nice room
Pretty much everything. :)
Breakfast: even-eleven type of coffee and 99 cent store type of breads and sweets.
Easy and safe walk to Horton Plaza and gaslamp restaurants. Beds were surprisingly comfortable Clean throughout the hotel - important for me Extremely easy to get to from Hwy 163. Breakfast is more than enough for me
College kids with fee time on their hands can be loud.
It was clean with friendly staff, comfortable bed, balcony and good view down the hill toward the bay but city view. It was close to the party we were going to.
At this time there was construction a few buildings away that started work at 7AM even on Saturday. We were not there during the day so it was only an issue in the morning. On the other hand we did not need a wake up call and it is certainly not the hotels fault.
Location, comfy bed, wifi, dining option at walking distance.
The sheets were clean, lots of pillow's and we slept peacefully. We are never in our room. We are there only to sleepm. So the bed matters
The coffee, not a big deal there are coffee shops on every corner
Its location. Its quite a distance from the convention center. Parking fee of $15:00/day is quite high considering the distance from the convention center.
Room was large, with hair dryer, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was quite sufficient.
Windows didn't fit properly and popped open unless wedged closed with folded card. We didn't realise this until after our first sleepless night - hotel is near freeway so plenty of traffic noise. Unfortunately noises guests disturbed our second night, don't think we'd return.
Friendly desk staff, especially the young girl Monica, all housekeeping staff.overall the experience was very good, feel like home, thank you for your hospitality.
Only the choice of breakfast,
Convenient to the downtown attractions. Free breakfast was small but descent.
No free hotel parking. A bit noisy a few times and we were on the top floor to get away from the noise.
It was close to every place our family wanted to go to.
Sleeping in the 'bed' was like sleeping on the ground.
Excellent service compared to money, comfortable place and very good location.
The Internet was bad, and I could not use it properly. The bathtub sink was plugged partially, and I was compelled to wait till the water run off.
The two different front desk clerks were among the nicest and most helpful I have ever encountered, and that was a highlight.
the virtual lack of a closet
People are very friendly and the personal very helpful.
The room was a little noisy. Somebody snorted the whole night next to my room and there was much noise in the street.
The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The location is conveniently close to the convention center and the waterfront.
The building is janky. It needs to be renovated and modernized a bit, but considering the costly district in which it is situated, that might not be feasible. The free breakfast is worth every penny.
Great location to many restaurants, venues, in and around the Gaslamp District and the port. The room itself was comfortable and clean. Had a great balcony view of the city. The breakfast from 6 am to 9:30 that was offered was a plus.
Check-in is at 3pm no earlier or the front staff won't even acknowledge your presence in the lobby.

Comfortable bed. Nice continental breakfast.
The blanket was not clean. And in the refrigerator there was an open bottle of water.
Room cleanliness was excellent. Loved the bagels (free breakfast). Parking was worth paying for, considering the city location (where parking is normally terrible).
Elevator had an odor. Balconies had gaps between the separation wall from the balconies beside you. I was almost able to squeeze through the skinny gap to get to the next balcony. So I didn't use it much. Kinda freaked me out.
