Lower cost for last minute booking
Too far from convention center and too old. Need room key to work vending area, which may indicate less safe area,
The staff was very helpful.
It's nice location
Daily change of the manager
$$ rate. Taxi service was readily accessible. It's within walking distance to the Quarter.
It's on a least desirable section of the downtown area. Ongoing construction nearby. The continental breakfast.
Good value room, Parking was a fair price. Staff friendly & helpful
Easy walking distance to Haslam district
The property is in need of a decor update; it is well maintained, but looks and feels dated. The sink is outside the bathroom, right next to the room door.
Good location, helpful staff, good amenities and access to decent tv
The fact that anyone could just walk in off the street
Room was not as clean as I expected or like.
Was a good value.
Breakfast was less than expected.
Convenient location great WiFi comfortable room over all
The coffee maker was dirty and the air conditioner did not work.
Cossy bed to fall in to after a big day
Its a bit old but you know that
Cleanliness of room, politeness of staff, closeness to Gaslamp District, conveinience and value.
Coffee in room and down in continental B-fast room, parking cost of $15/day. Sometimes noisy from loud guests late at night or the heavy walker above our room.
Good value for money
A wee bit far from the buzz but good all the same.
The room was clean
Obvious water damage on the walls around the bathroom, toilet paper holder and air vent had visible rust. Bathtub drain plug did not seal drain. Front desk clerk made clear attempts to flirt with me during check-in, with my wife present, which is highly unprofessional. For the price paid, would have preferred a greater breakfast selection. Elevator is old, and sounds like it is straining to work at times.
Perfect location , clean and good enough rooms. You have what you need including microwave, mini fridge, iron, all those good staff. Continental breakfast was not an option for me cause I hate it but at least you have basic things early in the morning.
Parking cost, this is what I did not like. They have a enough place to leave the cars however you have to pay.
I loved the location and the balcony.
Room smelled like cigarettes.
Walking distance to Little Italy and Gaslight Nice room
Pretty much everything. :)
Breakfast: even-eleven type of coffee and 99 cent store type of breads and sweets.
Easy and safe walk to Horton Plaza and gaslamp restaurants. Beds were surprisingly comfortable Clean throughout the hotel - important for me Extremely easy to get to from Hwy 163. Breakfast is more than enough for me
College kids with fee time on their hands can be loud.
It was clean with friendly staff, comfortable bed, balcony and good view down the hill toward the bay but city view. It was close to the party we were going to.
At this time there was construction a few buildings away that started work at 7AM even on Saturday. We were not there during the day so it was only an issue in the morning. On the other hand we did not need a wake up call and it is certainly not the hotels fault.
Location, comfy bed, wifi, dining option at walking distance.
The sheets were clean, lots of pillow's and we slept peacefully. We are never in our room. We are there only to sleepm. So the bed matters
The coffee, not a big deal there are coffee shops on every corner
Its location. Its quite a distance from the convention center. Parking fee of $15:00/day is quite high considering the distance from the convention center.
Room was large, with hair dryer, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was quite sufficient.
Windows didn't fit properly and popped open unless wedged closed with folded card. We didn't realise this until after our first sleepless night - hotel is near freeway so plenty of traffic noise. Unfortunately noises guests disturbed our second night, don't think we'd return.
