comfortable room, microwave , fridge as advertised . I was "upgraded" and had a nice balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, Hotel is in downtown about 10 min walk from gaslamp district
The air conditioning is noisy, it may be a problem in summer if needed at night.
Sevice was good and rooms were clean ans spacious. Beds are confortable.
The fack that Im now being double charged for this accommodation, a few days after I cheked out. This will mean that I will be payning twice for the same facility. This came as a suprise to me, as at the time of checkout al paper work presente to me had a zero outstanding balance.
Varying messages from staff regarding ordering a taxi.however, all worked well when the time came
Staff was totally unfriendly. They just care about the money & nothing else.
Location is good. very close to san diego zoo and other famous scenery. Quality of bed is top. My family got a very good sleep at the night. breakfast is plain but definitely enough.
15 bucks for parking. the noise from the air con is kind of loud. as a foreign tourist, I value the service attitude very much. I have to said that the Japanese(or Asian) American desk ppl I met that night is indifferent. I can clearly tell his impatience when I said "pardon". very bad experience.....
From meeting Eric at the desk when we checked in to leaving, we had a great experience. The beds were comfortable, the room very clean. Just an average breakfast, but it was enough. The price was excellent as was the location. We had bikes so the parking fee was not a concern. Short walk to town. Quiet location.
Room felt very clean, though furniture and linen had some wear and tear on them. Candy bars and water bottles were given for free every day. Staff was very helpful. Location is good for the money.
Room had a slight non-fresh smell. Elevators are too slow. Breakfast quality can vary a lot depending on the day. Paying for parking.
Beds were amazing, pleasant view, very quiet...
WiFi was spotty, TV channels were wack...
10 minute walk to the Gaslamp Quarter (uphill on the way back), close to the zoo (5 minute drive)
Location is very good for walking within downtown, near trolley station, very good WiFi connection
Coffee is really bad, an instant coffee is way better
We wanted to be within walking distance to the stadium and it was about 10 blocks away. Easy walk there and then inexpensive cab ride back at night.
Was a little older then it looked. Missing tiles in bathroom but still clean.
I liked localization, spacious rooms, clean white towels, lots of choices for breakfast (juice, cream cheese, oatmeal, fruits, cereals, tosts, jellys), nice and helpful staff
can't thing of any ;)
Walkable location to Gaslight District
No room in the breakfast area to sit
the motel is downtown; Gaslamp Quarter is within walking distance; neighbourhood is quiet. Beds were comfortable and we did sleep well.
The rooms in general would need some renovation; furniture is already pretty worn and screws from the security lock at the door are very loose.
Close to the Gas Lamp Quarter and the centre of town. Laundry facilities on site.
The air conditioning had a bad smell. The hotel is at the end of the freeway and the traffic noise can be bad at times.
Really good location
room is too small, sink is right in front of u when u open the door
The staff was very friendly, and facility comfortable and clean. Great deal for the rate charged! Only about a 10 minute walk from the San Diego Convention Theater and trolley station. Public Transportation is easy and the bus drivers extremely helpful. We were able to take the bus to the ocean - about a 20 minute drive. Enjoy!
The hotel sits on top of a steep hill. If you're planning on walking - it was fine for us 40 somethings, but could be a bit of a challenge for the elderly.
Traffic loud at night'.
Good location for downtown activities.
pay for parking
Convenient location to area sites, comfortable and clean room with useful refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker, free in-room wi-fi, free continental breakfast, friendfly and helpful staff. Appreciated desk and office chair, plus table for eating with 2 chairs.
Appreciated the airconditioner, but it was somewhat noisy. Furniture could be updated. $15 fee for hotel parking lot--we were able to park free on the street, although need to be aware of street cleaning time restrictions on specific days on some streets.
San Diego is all about tourist. Tourist with a lot of money. This place was one of the most affordable close to the action. I would not stay in this area again. It is dirty and still quite a ways to walk to get to the water, Gaslamp,Horton's mall.
It is in serious need of a facelift. The elevator outside is ridiculous and feels unsafe. This hotel is little more than the average cheap hotel except they charge too much and then charge again for parking. Lots in downtown area charge 10.00 parking, the hotel charges 15.00. What a way to treat your guests. The staff is nice enough but don't expect them to go out of there way to help you.
Easy to locate, easy drive way from highway Fast internet Free usage of PC and printing facility at reception area
Noisy especially our room facing the highway entry during early hour Elevator is dated and only one for this four storey building. Maid changed fresh towel but not fresh bed sheets,,
