comfortable bed and pillows overall cleanliness convenient parking wi-fi quiet room
pop machine out of most products dated fixtures in bathroom breakfast could be better (with cereal, more fruit, bagels, etc.)
The room was very comfortable and large...
Hauling luggage up two flights of stairs. There were very few places within walking distance...three to be exact. So I ended up going to the grocery store to buy protein drinks for breakfast. Days Inns breakfast is a total high carb wipeout...no protein that I could see.
Quiet and near the beach.
I liked the location and price. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
No elevators I had to bring a heavy bag up two flights of stairs.
Location. Right on the water
Very expensive for what was available. Very poor breakfast. Package Danishes, bread, juice, apples, oranges. Fro $250 a night, I would expect more.
The location was right near the beach and very quiet. The owner was always there and very helpful. In San francisco but not in a loud, busy area.
Once we figured out the public transportation it was a great place to stay. It was quiet, away from the noise of the city. Only took about 35 minutes to get into the heart of San Francisco and from there could go wherever you wanted - Fishermans Warf, Cable Car, etc. The price was good considering the prices of hotels in San Francisco - we would definitely stay there again.
Our room was quite dated, however the couple we travelled with had a nice room with new lamps that you could plug your iphone or ipad into instead of crawling under the table to plug things in. Their room looked like it had been recently painted while our room had the old wallpaper on it which was dirty and the bathroom door looked like it had better days! The breakfast did not consist of very much - however got us going every morning.
Location, no traffic, no noise, quiet inside and out, good people, clean, well maintained. Value for location out of the way from city living.
need some help with B rooms require some better fixtures, sealers, paint, touch ups etc.
Dee, the receptionist was really nice and very helpful and three room maid, who didn't speak English was always smiling. Bed comfortable. I also recommend the Java Beach Cafe next door.
The room was not dark enough at night and there was a lot of General noise from air conditioners etc. This made it difficult to sleep with the window open as I like to do.
Owners were helpful and friendly. Accomodated and upgraded us as needed. This was our second stay here and will definitely book again.
Good value Friendly staff Close to buses
the location was the only good thing about this hotel
The first room we walk into had a horrible smell (think sweaty armpit) We refused that room and the desk clerk gave us the one right next door to it... It "looked" clean but when we pulled back the bed spread we found a pubic hair!!!! We asked for another room and they refused and said they would just change the sheets. We asked when the bedspread was last washed and he told us that they only clean the bedspread when they have a "really bad" guest. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!
This is a Good Hotel. Nothing special but its clean and comfortable. The price was good compared to other hotels in San Francisco. Not real close to downtown but the Muni is a block away. The beach and zoo are also close but I didn't come to SF for either so it served no purpose. I would stay here again because of the cost and being clean with free parking
The breakfast nook is just that a nook. Log jam in the a.m. For you coffee and muffins. Also the underground parking lot spooked me a little but it's video monitored and we had absolutely no problems
Next to bart line 30 mins to down town. Quiet Free donuts for breakfast Staff very helpful
Somewhere along the line our booking was lost but the staff were able to sort us out.
This wasn't a breakfast at all. Quite far from the city.
This was a great place for me, my daughter and granddaughter. Close to the SF Zoo and beach. Clean, quiet, I would stay here again.
The location of the hotel and cleanliness of the room and bedding were excellent! The prices were on the low end for SF
That it was located right across from the zoo and the beach
The room was in poor condition. Wallpaper was peeling off the corners. one of the lights didn't work. Also it was very crammed because there was three chairs. The parking lot was hard to maneuver in and out.
The facility was exactly what we needed. The staff was so friendly. Cleaning woman was so sweet, happy cheerful to us all. My sons had a great time with us, and we were able to walk to the muni to get to the Giants game within minutes. Air conditioning worked great for the rooms.
All was adequate....
This property is a good choice for location, friendliness, and value. Located three blocks from Ocean Beach, next to Pasquale's and Java Beach Cafe, you have ready access to the Golden Gate Recreational Area and to restaurants for a quick bite. The desk staff were friendly and efficient. There are few hotels in San Francisco that provide this service at this economical price.
Breakfast was meager. Protein items for breakfast (such as peanut butter, yogurt, or boiled eggs) would have improved the quality and diversity of the meal.
Clean washroom, good beds, clean room and good setup inside.
reception staff doesn't seem to be happy about her job. Give us weird look when we asked for another blanket. Wouldn't deliver to our room, we had to walk out to Reception to pick it up. Breakfast was thin.
Public transport via tram or bus available every 15 minutes and takes 20 /30 minutes to city centre or Fisherman Wharf. Nice and quiet. Beach and zoo opposite.
Close to beach, Zoo and Golden Gate Park. Room okay, plus quiet small fridge and working microwave.
In room call came from hacker and ID theft trying to get my info. But had to make multiple trips up 3 flights of stairs, no elevator. Would not want to be out at night walking around neighborhood, day hours felt save.
