The walls were peeling and decaying. The sofa in my non smoking room had burn holes. The bathroom and tub smelled of mold and mildew. The tv had broken buttons and a broken remote. The breakfast waffle machines were broken. Food in the morning was barely replenished.
Fitness center was in bad shape two out of four machines didn't work.
The staff was very helpful!
The tub wall had a big hole in it.
VALUED STAY, FELT LIKE A CEO.
FRONT DESK STAFF DID NOT SMILE ONE TIME IN THREE DAYS REGARDLESS OF THE DAY OR SHIFT. THEY WERE NOT RUDE THEY JUST DIDN'T SMILE.
Hospitality and atmosphere of the bar area
WiFi never worked
I liked that there was a vacancy for the night. I also liked that the staff quickly addressed a "problem" with our stay.
The "problem" was that there was a shooting near the room below ours. My daughters woke up early to get breakfast and there was A LOT of blood all over in front of the stairwell, along the walkway and on the trash can. It appeared that there was a struggle. The courtyard at the hotel is probably a safety issue. No one called the room to inform of an incident. I learned of the shooting when checking out. We didn't eat breakfast or shower. We just got our things together and checked out. I received a partial refund for our stay; and later read about the details in an online news article. I travel a lot with teenagers and try to depend on particular brands when we need to make a pit stop and rest up before hitting the road again. I'm sad to say that Days Inn won't be on our dependable brands list anymore.
The proximity to restaurants and the highway.
There were some holes in the walls. The curtains didn't close all the way,so light was shining in the room all night. The tub/shower was in the sleeping area, which was just weird.
I enjoyed the room the hospitality of the staff the pool and hot tub access from our room and how clean the room was
The restaurants where all near by.
The room was very clean the staff was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone.
Nothing all was great.
No local channels. abc, nbc, cbs. etc......
room is very dirty facility is not safe the staff very rule
Can not comment on most of these because we did not stay because of problems. We found the first room to be less than adquate because of bed size and not very clean. Front desk person upgraded us to another room that had not been efficiently clean even had poop still in comode. We requested a refund which was handled on a friendly basis. Would not book there again.
both rooms clean, descent for price very nice at front desk able to help quickly to get new room
In the 1st room they put us in the telephone did not work and toilet had a problem ,moved us to other room it was o.k.
Friendliness and resourceful staff
I liked the friendliness of staff upon check in.
I did not like the fact that I was told I could not receive a final receipt upon check out. The young lady told me I had to get my receipt from booking.com. Go figure.
Everything was great! I was in Savannah for my sisters wedding. So I booked this room on booking.com The Room: When I walked in the room I was kind of confused cause when I walked though the door I could not get my mind on what kind of room it was. But when I walked in and see that it was a suite it was very nice and roomie. Love the bathroom and the over all space. I give it a 8.75 out of 10. the Internet was not the best but like I said It was a Great ROOM!!! I will be back!!! Brandon P Atlanta GA
The Bad was the Internet. It was slow and could not keep a connection.
Breakfast wasn't good at all, very little selection. For the money that i spent i could have stayed somewhere a little better. Not gonna stay there again.
Loved the bar and karaoke!!
Rooms need to be updated. Door in bathroom had peeling paint. First room we checked into had water dripping onto floor.
The location was the only good thing about my stay. The staff fine as well! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The room wasn't clean. Tub wasn't clean. Called ahead to have the a.c. cut on in the room. When I checked it my room was hot as hell. Got a new room the a.c. didn't work there. Got up that morning the door was stuck and we were locked in the room. Ice machine was broken. Nee new management.
We were a group so they put us all on the same floor. They weren't controlling about what the group could/couldn't do, and they didn't frown when ask for more towels...
The pool wasn't open 24/7.. Lol...
Well as soon as we opened the door a hole in the carpet the size a frizbe. We thought it was a no smoking room but with cigarette burns on the floor between the bed will let know otherwise. The bath tub had a slip resistant bottem that was brown from build up. The bed popped and cracked everytine you moved, very loud and annoying. If you wanted to see the other half of the mirror you would need to move the tv. One lonesome dirty old chair and no table. Would never stay in this hotel again.
Just a little to far from Tybee and River Street
