The price: thank you Booking. Com!
Although clean, this hotel is in dire need of updates. Thank goodness, we spent very little time here. A windstorm in the night knocked out the power. When the power was restored, we endured a 15 minute "symphony" of ear piercing alarm system ringing. Wonderful wake up call!
Big noise about 6am Shoddy room
COMFORT, CLEAN AND CURTEOUS.
POWER WENT OUT WAS GOING TO CHECK OUT, NO OFFER MADE TO MAKE UP FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. BUT POWER CAME BACK ON WHILE PACKING. REMAINED AT HOTEL. NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY.
Location was good to travel to from Vancouver. On a main street with plenty of food options and simple drive south into the city.
Unfortunate major road construction. But then it will be great once completed. Taxi in and out of city a little too expensive for a 20 minute straight drive down the street was $45.00 without a tip. But taxi drivers for our experience were cool and friendly.
For location on a busy street the room was quiet. Wifi was free. They offered waffles for breakfast as well as cold cereal.
Probably because of a central staircase the hallways always had an odor--cleaning agents in the afternoon, breakfast smells in the morning. The bed dipped in the middle.
Prices were reasonable compared to the city.
All the construction on the main road in front of the hotel and the location was not ideal.
The breakfast was good.
The man at the front desk was extremely rude. We showed up late but I had made note of that in the reservation. When we walked in he snarkly asked if we wanted a room So when I told him I had a reservation he rolled his eyes and went over to his computer and mumbled under his breath which was seemingly directed towards us about how something with my card (which my understanding was I shouldn't have been charged at that point anyways) wasn't working. He then proceeded to get upset when he couldn't understand our simple request to split the bill onto two cards. It was an extremely unpleasant way to start our trip.
Quiet; Bed was comfortable
Thread bare towels; Milk turning sour at breakfast; Plastic tableware; Bathroom was not designed well, very cramped;
1. Stuffed up nose from allergens in pillows or blankets or room air. 2. mattress had little padding...hard bed.
Room was free of third hand smoke
Hallway was saturated with third hand smoke
Good location next to kfc dennys
Had trouble getting two rooms that i booked they booked one mgr finally got me two rooms
The staff was helpful.
Walls were thin, the smell of whatever cleaner the room was prepared with was overpowering when we arrived but subsided greatly while we out to dinner. Tiny breakfast area.
We forgot the room key in the room. When we went to the front desk at 9:39. No one was there. A staff member who starts at 10 was there preparing coffee and we had to beg him to get us a new room key. I tried calling the manager but the phone call was forwarded to the vacant front desk.
Bedroom was clean and comfortable
Wi-Fi password was not working at all. The cleaning in the morning was noisy and you can hear people talking in the hall way.
The free breakfast.
The Wifi was poor.
It's on Aurora (Highway 99) which has excellent express bus service to Seattle Centre and Downtown. Enough parking that felt secure enough. Close to two Starbucks & CostCo. There's an elevator. The continental breakfast was fine and nice to have. It's close to the I-5 and Northgate Mall.
It's fairly far from Downtown. There are some undesirable businesses in the area.
The staff was wonderful and I would recommend it to everyone.
Since I was only staying long enough for a night's sleep and a shower, I didn't want to pay a lot of money. Seattle's prices for hotels are very expensive. I was very pleased with this hotel. It was very clean, quite and pleasurable. They have coffee makers in the rooms as well as a nice continental breakfast in the lobby.
Nothing wrong with it. Very convenient for Rapid Ride public transport - faster than car & cheap. Functional place to stay if your relatives don't have a spare room.
Location - busy road with nothing of interest within walking distance except the 'adult' venue... and a KFC.
When we checked in, there was a note on the counter informing guests that road construction was going on between 9pm-5am. It was very noisy and it would have been nice to know this before we booked our room. Also, right across the street from adult bookstore/massage.
Good location for our particular purpose.
Noisy street construction, but clearly temporary.
Greeted promptly and professionally. Easy check in and out.
Wi-fi advertised but didn't work
I booked for 2 nights. I arrived late. The front desk person that checked me in didn't look closely enough at my reservation and, unbeknown to me, signed me in for one night only. The following day when I returned to my room in the afternoon my keys didn't open the door. The front desk person argued with me that I signed in for one night only despite my showing him the reservation that clearly stated 2 nights booking. He didn't apologize for the error and continued to argue with me that I signed for one night. I explained that the night desk person said nothing about one night only and I believed I was simply signing into my room as I would any other hotel stay. I will NOT ever visit this location again and likely will not use a Days Inn again either.
Very clean and well maintained.
My only complaint was that the bathroom was very tiny. I could not close the door without steeping into the small space between the tub and the toilet.
