Bed was comfortable. The price.
Terrible breakfast, Cable TV did not work, Room was unfinished(light fixture covers sitting off to side), Room not very clean and had cigarette burn marks throughout. Staff not very accommodating (tried to check in one hour early).
Good location, great price all considered. Excellent guest service: pleasant wake-up call, speedy maintenance service (replaced a blown lightbulb in <10 minutes). More towels than we needed. I hope that wasn't an error; extra towels are nice to have. Very good hot water pressure, which is rather important to me. Always a plus.
Pop vending machine was out of diet Dr Pepper, WHICH UTTERLY RUINED THIS EXPERIENCE AND IS ABSOLUTELY UNFORGIVABLE (just kidding). Otherwise, as good an experience as I would expect of Days Inn; and I haven't been disappointed yet.
The room was in a state of ill repair. Outlet covers were off at the wall, the furniture was broken, the door was broken. I booked two queen beds and got two double beds in a suite, although the TV in the living room area didn't work! It was a sad excuse for a "suite" room. Breakfast at 7 a.m. was already out of food items. Hotel was not prepared for 101 foreign exchange students descending on the breakfast room with hearty appetites!!
Price & location
Room not made up. We stayed 2 nights.
I liked the location and the price.
I did not like that they did not give us room service so we did not receive fresh towels. My sister stayed here also and they received room service but not towels the second day to take a shower.
For the money, it was fine. My room was clean, most everything worked. Continental breakfast was decent, since it was included in the price. Bathroom/shower was clean, water pressure was good.
My daughter's room was filthy - urine in the toilet, puke in one of the trash cans, bed not made, dirty towels on the bathroom floor. They did get her a new room quickly, but there's no excuse for failing to make sure the room was clean. Cable reception was terrible on about four or five stations. So much static and background noise that they were basically not watchable. I stayed two nights, and when they cleaned my room after the first night, they did not replace the soap, shampoo, or conditioner.
The only one good feature was the breakfast.
Room was quite small; pillows were lumpy; floors in room were filthy; bar & restaurant were not operational. Certainly would not stay there again!
Breakfast was not good no flavored creamers for coffee, same thing to eat everyday. No security at pool. Young kids at pool with no parents. Young kids at night jumping off top balcony told grounds man. Kids riding there scooters n skateboards up n down hallway all nite. No security to check that kids under 16 are accompanied by a parent. Kept me up all night. Afraid these kids were either going to drown in the pool being unsupervised or going to hurt themselves jumping off the top floor. Very upset
everything was good
the television in the room was in very poor condition or maybe the cable hook up was poor quality.
Price was right. People who cleaned the room were friendly.
Staff inside was rude and nasty. Breakfast was horrible!
Great staff. Very friendly and helpful
Uncomfortable beds and hard to get an extra pillow
The staff was extremely curtious and helpful. Very friendly and great with kids. The facilities were better than i thought because of some negative reviews i had read. The hotel was centrally located with everything at arms reach. Pool was pretty and nice touch with the gazebo. Will definitely be back
Small bathroom towels, stucco ceilings not even anything to complain about
Just about everything went well
One seemingly minor thing was their television system - very little choices for viewing during down time
No clean towels when we came back to shower. Only 1 wash cloth! Called front desk she said we only have 8 clean towels for the whole motel! Also when we returned housekeeping left every light on in our room! Did not replace any cups. Mattress was ROCK HARD!! Asked for an address to a local restaurant and she was too busy to get it for us!!
amentities, pool, staff
For the time that I was there the hotel was great for what I was paying for, staff was nice and rooms were clean
The wifi password changing each day therefore needing to get the password each morning as well as the bathroom door not being able to fit the frame so it wouldn't shut
The rate was decent. Lobby clean and staff very nice. You get what you pay for
Our room was across from ice maker so we heard that all night. And the maintence room right next door so we could hear them in and oit constantly. It's also only 5 miles from outlets. But a pain of 5 miles. Have to highway drive and where it's located is constant traffic.
breakfast was great, friendly staff, could use a little sprucing up but served it purpose.
Got a musty smell when we got into room
Our room was not cleaned on our first night stay. When this was brought to the attention of the staff, we were told that they were short staffed and that they could give us sheets to change ourselves and that we could take out our own trash. The next day there was not any towels at the pool. When my wife went to the front desk to inform the staff of this, they became very disrespectful towards her and the housekeeping supervisor got into her face, The general manager then went on to proceed to call her a liar, after contradicting his story several times when I went to see what was going on. I was able to not get locked up, but my patience and morals were surely tested by the lack of professionalism by this staff. We will no longer be guests of this hotel.
no cable just white snow and static
The front desk staff was good.
Air Conditioner was broken. Carpet was torn. Bathroom light did not work. TV was not working correctly.
Not much. I have stayed at nicer hotels much cheaper.
The staff, especially the Manager was not friendly or accommodating. Check-in took in an extreme amount of time because she said my last name was spelled wrong in the computer. At check out, I was over charged for the room had I not reviewed the bill before signing, I would have been over charged. Breakfast was ok but they weren't refilling things quickly enough and the coffee, my favorite part of breakfast, was horrible. At check out I asked to speak with the manager about my disappointment, in a very nice way, and she was not receptive or apologetic. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay at Red Roof, it is cheaper, nicer, and you will receive good customer service.
The bed was very comfortable and I liked the refrigerator and microwave in the room. I also liked the sink outside the bathroom.
The pool wasn't open past 9:00 p.m. We thought it should have been opened until at least 10:00 if not 11:00. Not much to do in Amish country after 5:00 p.m. so the pool would have been nice for a later evening activity. I also think the continental breakfast should be until 10:30 or 11:00 to accomodate vacationers who like to sleep a little later. There was no elevator and our room was on the second floor.
Convenience. Suite arrangement
Lighting was too dim.
I didn't like how the room pictures you saw on the internet looked anything like the actual rooms very shabby condition. needs complete upgrade,
