Too much outside noise, and my request for a ground floor room was ignored. I requested it because my wife has COPD and has trouble with stairs. It unset me that making the reservation in advance they did not accommodate us.
breakfast was the best continental breakfast we have ever had compared to all other places we have stayed. front dest ladies were very welcoming. The servers at breakfast were the must pleasant two women in all of penn,
there was a lot of construction and it made it hard to get into Rt, 30 lancaster
I booked a smoking room on Booking.com, I was given a non-smoking room. When I asked why they said that's how the reservation came in and there were no more smoking rooms left, and didn't try to accommodate me. When we woke up in the morning we found bed bugs! So disgusting knowing we slept in that bed all night. Overall this is my second time staying at this hotel. First time I stayed I checked in and when I got to my room the bathtub faucet wouldn't turn off which made it impossible to sleep, even with the bathroom door shut. Both expierences were poor and I will probably never stay at this hotel again when I'm in the area.
The on and off highway access was great. Close to downtown Lancaster
We were not in a renovated room. Bathroom is extremely small. Needs updating. Friends we were traveling with had a much nicer room for the same price.
Location was good.
The toilet was uneven and rocked back and forth with every motion. The wireless didn't work both nights. Just seemed run down.
Beds were comfortable.
Air conditioning barely worked, room was hot.
Location was good
Staff was rude. Walls paper thin. Could literally hear the person next door urinating in their bathroom. They completely ignored the do not disturb sign on door & kept banging until I answered just to ask if I wanted my room cleaned! I will not be staying there again. Many other hotels in that area to choose from
The Room was large and very clean
The Bed was as hard as a rock and for king size bed we where only given 4 small pillows
Coming from the west, we were able to check-in and rest before going to our evening event 6 miles to the east. The next day it was an easy drive 7 miles to the north on route 501 to Lititz where we spent the day. Great breakfast.
The location of the Hotel was perfect. I also was glad when they changed my room because the first room smelled like a cigar lounge and it was supposed to be non smoking.
As soon as we drove up i saw the cracks on the building which was a red flag. We checked in and as soon as i opened the room the smell of cigarette smell hit me. Went to the front desk and complained and the changed my room. The free breakfast sucked I'm a home fries and bacon type of person they had none of that. The eggs were cold in a fridge where you had to nuke them. They had no bagels no cream cheese. We didn't go back the second day to breakfast we found a waffle house near by that was great. other than that for $68 dollars a day it was okay. But never again will i stay at a days inn. Other than that i made the best of it on my birthday weekend.
The room I had booked was unavailable and I was immediately given a suite as an upgrade. The plce was quiet and clean.
The breakfast left a lot to be desired for someone who is health-conscious. My only real option was fresh fruit which was frozen and inedible.
Friendly staff. Good breakfast, better than most similar places.
Needs updating. Toilet leaked.
was a great value
the bathroom needs updating
get what you pay for. Room was run down. Furniture beat up. coffee pot dirty. needed first floor (back injury) but not available and no elevator...no offer from front desk to help w bags. breakfast was skimpy and poorly stocked, tables dirty
It was low cost
The room was very tired and needed some maintenace work to get to a reasonable standard
The staff was very friendly and breakfast was decent.
This former Holiday Inn is very tired. Facilities are not only old but not exactly clean. I found hair and sticky stuff on the bathroom floor. Furniture is nicked and gouged and I founf an exposed electric wire on the floor next to the A/C unit.
Convenient location. Room met all my needs - king sized bed, adequate floor space, refrigerator, sink with counter space.
The shower head needs to be replaced. The hotel is slowly upgrading all the rooms and the property, so some things are not perfect or brand new. But for the most part, the hotel is a great place to stay, especially for the money!
Price was ok. Near restaurants.
Could be cleaner. They cleaned rooms and left no towels. No exhaust fan in bathroom
Proximity to Amish Country. Art galeries in Lancaster.
No decent restaurants in the area.
Beds were quite firm just needed a thicker mattress pad... or pillow top pad....made it hard to get comfortable. Otherwise room was okay.
The rooms needed dusting much better, a.c./heat filter needed changing or cleaned and the "desk" chair...arms were loose and back broken afraid to lean back in it. Needed all lights on just to try and read. Needed higher watt bulbs.
poor television channels
The staff was very friendly especially the breakfast helper. She took time to assist several elderly people with the waffle machine. Hotel front desk was efficient. Room was clean and looked quite nice.
There was not much of a selection for breakfast. I would have liked some muffins, rolls and bananas. Everyone was lined up at the waffle machines.
The king size bed with option if smoking room
I didnt like the breakfast menu
The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable the carpet was stained on the floor
Away from the hub-bub. Bartender was a big help when we went there for "dinner". Gave us several suggestions & directions.
No restaurant & clerk not knowledgeable about on premises "restaurant" or local restaurants
