Friendly staff. Good breakfast, better than most similar places.
Needs updating. Toilet leaked.
was a great value
the bathroom needs updating
get what you pay for. Room was run down. Furniture beat up. coffee pot dirty. needed first floor (back injury) but not available and no elevator...no offer from front desk to help w bags. breakfast was skimpy and poorly stocked, tables dirty
It was low cost
The room was very tired and needed some maintenace work to get to a reasonable standard
The staff was very friendly and breakfast was decent.
This former Holiday Inn is very tired. Facilities are not only old but not exactly clean. I found hair and sticky stuff on the bathroom floor. Furniture is nicked and gouged and I founf an exposed electric wire on the floor next to the A/C unit.
Convenient location. Room met all my needs - king sized bed, adequate floor space, refrigerator, sink with counter space.
The shower head needs to be replaced. The hotel is slowly upgrading all the rooms and the property, so some things are not perfect or brand new. But for the most part, the hotel is a great place to stay, especially for the money!
Price was ok. Near restaurants.
Could be cleaner. They cleaned rooms and left no towels. No exhaust fan in bathroom
Proximity to Amish Country. Art galeries in Lancaster.
No decent restaurants in the area.
Beds were quite firm just needed a thicker mattress pad... or pillow top pad....made it hard to get comfortable. Otherwise room was okay.
The rooms needed dusting much better, a.c./heat filter needed changing or cleaned and the "desk" chair...arms were loose and back broken afraid to lean back in it. Needed all lights on just to try and read. Needed higher watt bulbs.
poor television channels
The staff was very friendly especially the breakfast helper. She took time to assist several elderly people with the waffle machine. Hotel front desk was efficient. Room was clean and looked quite nice.
There was not much of a selection for breakfast. I would have liked some muffins, rolls and bananas. Everyone was lined up at the waffle machines.
The king size bed with option if smoking room
I didnt like the breakfast menu
The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable the carpet was stained on the floor
Away from the hub-bub. Bartender was a big help when we went there for "dinner". Gave us several suggestions & directions.
No restaurant & clerk not knowledgeable about on premises "restaurant" or local restaurants
parking,room nice clean,
bar or lounge hours.
Room was not clean Check in person very unfriendly Bed sheet had hair on them
We enjoyed everything. Breakfast was ok. The staff was super friendly.
My husband found a half ate roll from a burger next to the couch
Too much noise early in the morning by housekeeping, made it very hard to sleep in.
We were assigned a room that was already occupied. Imagine everyone's surprise when we tried to enter the room. That was horrible. Breakfast was inadequate and ill-prepared for the number of guests there- why? The number of guests is not a surprise-unless management just doesn't care to be prepared. Not going back.
Very nice staff, good breakfast, good location - minutes to attractions.
The picture of the hotel looks lovely. What I didn't realize was that there are rooms on the outside of the building, not just the rooms that face the pool. Our room was facing the parking lot. Not what we expected. If I were to stay here again I would definitely request a room downstairs (no elevator to carry bags) that faces the pool.
It was a reasonably clean, quiet facility. It was close to attractions and shopping. Good for a night or two but I would look elsewhere for a more extented stay.
We had a second floor room and there was no elevator. No assistance was offered in carrying bags even though we were two woman with young children. Tiny fridge left a little to be desired.
Bed was comfortable. The price.
Terrible breakfast, Cable TV did not work, Room was unfinished(light fixture covers sitting off to side), Room not very clean and had cigarette burn marks throughout. Staff not very accommodating (tried to check in one hour early).
Good location, great price all considered. Excellent guest service: pleasant wake-up call, speedy maintenance service (replaced a blown lightbulb in <10 minutes). More towels than we needed. I hope that wasn't an error; extra towels are nice to have. Very good hot water pressure, which is rather important to me. Always a plus.
Pop vending machine was out of diet Dr Pepper, WHICH UTTERLY RUINED THIS EXPERIENCE AND IS ABSOLUTELY UNFORGIVABLE (just kidding). Otherwise, as good an experience as I would expect of Days Inn; and I haven't been disappointed yet.
First impression of hotel from street was a cheap & run down hotel although it wasn't that bad.Phone in room was inoperable our whole stay. AC unit loud. Problem with door lock & door to the point it took 5 or 6 tries to get in every time.
The room was in a state of ill repair. Outlet covers were off at the wall, the furniture was broken, the door was broken. I booked two queen beds and got two double beds in a suite, although the TV in the living room area didn't work! It was a sad excuse for a "suite" room. Breakfast at 7 a.m. was already out of food items. Hotel was not prepared for 101 foreign exchange students descending on the breakfast room with hearty appetites!!
