The same old breakfast although I wanted some sausage and eggs
I like the bed it was Comfy and the movies was good
April 21, 2015
I would prefer a hotel rather than a motel that has al rooms to outside.
One person on evenings behind front desk was a little Kurt. Lady serving the breakfast was delightful.

I was shocked by the king size bed, it was like sleeping at home, and how clean the room was.
April 12, 2015
Shabbiness of room, not especially clean and a distinct door of smoking although it was a non-smoking room
Location, price and free breakfast
March 25, 2015
Although it was a non smoking room there was a smoking thing right outside the room and my clothes smelt a little like smoke. Not a big deal but not ideal either.
Fit our budget and surprisingly quiet. Easy to get into Wilmington and all staff were awesome. Room was really nice, parking was great too.

woke up repeatedly due to noisy heater
friendly breakfast staff, comfortable bed, good tv
February 25, 2015
For both nights of my stay there was a disturbance that kept me up most of the night.
February 19, 2015
The toilet was not anchored to the floor - it was not noticeable until you sat on it and the entire commode leaned forward; the bathroom fan was noisy but there was no separate switch to turn it off when the light was on. I did leave a note on the comment card.
good location; easy access; free parking; clean room; nice breakfast; staff was pleasant and efficient on check-in; pleasant and fast check-out; will definitely stay again.

Close to work for the right price.

The lady who ran the breakfast room was terrific! Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating! She made our breakfast time the most pleasant of any hotel we've ever stayed in.

Weekday holiday's such as Thursday, New Years Day 2015 should be considered as weekend days with the extended breakfast hours. Closing breakfast at 9:00am (weekday closing) on New Years Day is not very considerate of guests needs who may need a little extra sleep given a late night on New Years Eve. The answer I got when asking about this was because of hotel operational needs.... not a guest need.

My wife and I were very impressed by the desk clerk, Janesca, when we arrived on December 23rd. She was very courteous and helpful and aswered all of our questions about the Wilmington area.We hope that Days Inn will recognize Janesca for her professionalism.

I think its rude for hotels/motels to host pets. It bothers me greatly that possible someones pet was sleeping on the bed! Some people are allergic to pet "dander". If it's raining then the room smells "doggie". :(
December 19, 2014
It needs to be up dated. Bathrooms. softer and bigger towels etc.
Love the bed and room size, breakfast, and location. Staff was GREAT.
December 14, 2014
The neighbors was lound and I couldn't sleep
It was nice clean and I enjoy myself in the room
November 27, 2014
Room was remodeled, but the bathroom was from 1982.
November 26, 2014
You can hear people walk by when in the room. The floors on the second floor make a thunder sound whenever anyone walks by. The bathroom floors and door need updating as well as the ventillator. Night front desk staff was insulting and inexperienced in handling noise complaints. 3:00am loud voices, walking back and forth was enough to wake anyone up and the front desk didn't want to be bothered. Front desk isn't always knowledgeable about what's nearby.
The location is excellent. Many stores near by and a mall. Not the best mall but close to the hotel. The lady who serves breakfast daily is very hospitable, attentive and welcoming. Overall fair value for what you get.

We just picked a place to stay based on our previous experience with Days Inn and were not disappointed

tell the front desk ahead of time to scratch off the safe fee if you're not going to use it.
4th time to stay here. close to longwood gardens & restaurants, shops. walkable to target, to trader joe's, & concord pike mall.

Biggest complaint was breakfast. The eggs didn't seem like eggs at all - more like a weird, slimy gelatin. I couldn't eat them. And who serves spanish-style rice for breakfast? The TV had a strange resolution - the picture looked all stretched out from side-to-side. And my remote did nothing on the "Movie" screen - I couldn't preview or order anything.
It was relatively quiet and the room did not smell at all of smoke (sometimes, despite guarantees of a no-smoking room, a room will have the reek of smoke - not this time at all!).
October 21, 2014
There were roaches and ticks on one of the beds
October 21, 2014
room had a musty smell at first, and while staying 4 days, I noticed frig leaked which could be cause. Running a/c cleared air and removed all traces, attest to my luggage/clothing did not carry any oder home
just what I needed for conference schedule, early breakfast ( hot food and large selection so daily choices could be varied) units were quite- volumn control on TV- 'neighbors' never an issue...and never ran out of hot water. Could walk to local stores, plus easy access to main roads in either direction by car. All staff friendly, polite and helpful.

The young people occupying upstair room made loud noice in the midnight.

The exterior of the Days Inn is a work in progress. The rooms have new windows and doors, which are being repainted, but the stairwells are showing their age. All rooms have outdoor access. The thing I liked least were the guests who would smoke outside their rooms; I didn't know so many people still smoked!
We loved staying at, what used to be, the Tally-Ho Motor Lodge! It has since been updated and renovated to the Days Inn - Wilmington. We stayed in a Business Place Room which had a king-sized bed, refrigerator and microwave, free water and snacks, and beautifully appointed; the vanity was HGTV quality! The room was very clean and they aggressively enforce their non-smoking policy in their rooms. We had a strong wireless internet signal in our room. They included a continental breakfast that went beyond the typical hotel fare, which included scrambled eggs, omelets, vegetable fried rice, and stir-fried potatoes and onions; delicious waffles were prepared to order with a smile.
